01:14In Honduras, the presidential candidate for the Libre Party, Rixi Moncara, condemned the United States' intentions to grant a full pardon to former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández, sentenced to 45 years in prison for drug trafficking.
01:31On the eve of the 2025 general elections, Moncara recalled the economic decline and plundering that plagued the country during the narco-dictatorship led by Juan Orlando Hernández between 2014 and 2022.
01:44In this regard, Moncara denounced Donald Trump's statements regarding parluring the former Honduran president and asserted that this is a strategy to favor the bright wind in the run-up to the Sunday's presidential elections.
01:57She also assured that the actions of third countries will not stop the will of the people to express themselves at the ballot box in rejection of corruption.
02:06On November 30, 2025, over 6.5 million Honduran citizens will head to the polls in a high-stakes election that will determine the country's political trajectory for the years to come.
02:27Let's take a look at the presidential candidates.
02:30Rixi Ramona Moncara Godoy is the candidate for the Liberty and Refundation Party, LIBRE, and represents the continuity of the current government's progressive agenda.
02:39A lawyer, former judge, and a first woman to serve as Honduran's Minister of National Defense, Moncara has held key roles.
02:47She was key to the post-2009 resistance against the U.S.-backed coup that ousted President Manuel Zelaya and later helped fund the LIBRE Party.
02:57She was appointed defense minister by President Castro amid perceived threats to national sovereignty.
03:09We move on to the candidate to the national party, Nazare Juan Asfura Nasabla.
03:14He is a wealthy construction magnate and former mayor of Tegucigalpa and the candidate of Honduras' traditional right to establishment.
03:22Notably, he was being publicly endorsed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who declared Asfura the candidate to Washington good support and whom future U.S. aid allegedly depends.
03:34Asfura's 2021 presidential run ended in defeat, but his return is seen as an attempt to reinstate the political forces linked to the ex-president Juan Orlando Hernandez, now serving a U.S. prison sentence for drug trafficking and weapon smuggling.
03:48He was named in the Pandora Papers for offshore holdings and face corruption allegations.
04:00And finally, we have the candidate for the LIBRE Party, Salvador Alejandro Nasralla Salón.
04:05He is the former TV host and engineer and recents a more unpredictable variability.
04:11Originally running as an anti-establishment figure, Nasralla joined LIBRE's 2021 ticket as the first presidential designate after dropping his own candidacy only later to break with Castro's government.
04:23U.S. President Donald Trump recently accused him of pretending to be anti-communist just to split Asfura's vote.
04:30His current campaign attempts to position him as a centrist's alternative, though this shift in alliance has raised questions about his consistency.
04:39In other news, the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America, ALBA, expressed through a communique in their website and profile on social network X, their condemnation of U.S. President Donald Trump's threats against Venezuela's airspace sovereignty.
05:01The statement says,
05:03This announcement, which is deeply hostile, disproportionate and incompatible with international law, constitutes an act of political aggression that reaffirms Washington's imperial behavior against the free peoples of Latin America.
05:16ALBA also denounces that this threat is part of a geopolitical plan aimed at eroding the self-determination of Latin American and Caribbean states through military, economic and diplomatic pressure.
05:28The organization also stated that attempting to exercise extraterritorial jurisdiction over Venezuelan territory, imposing instructions or conditioning the integrity of its airspace is not only illegal but also constitutes an arrogant provocation against the entire region.
05:45It is the reaffirmation of an old pattern, the one of those who still believe they have the right to impose rules on our skies, our borders and our destiny.
05:55Meanwhile, in Venezuela, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces threatens its defense of the coast, where maneuvers are being conducted to guarantee the country's sovereignty.
06:10The objective is to carry out the coastal defense exercise within the framework of Operation Independence 200.
06:16In the state of Ansoategui, the Integral Defense Operation Luzon deployed air defense systems to protect the territory.

07:43With a land area of 106 square kilometers, this picturesque place welcomes many domestic and foreign tourists, attracted by its architecture, pleasant climate, architectural richness and varied handicrafts.
07:55Valle de Ángeles is known as the crafting cradle of the Francisco Morazán department.
08:02In 1960, the first craft center in Valle de Ángeles called El Cava was established.

11:20Moving on to the United States, President Donald Trump's approval rating has reached its lowest point in the 10 months of his second term.
11:31According to a survey by the Gallup consulting firm, President Trump's approval rating has fallen to 36%, while the majority of Americans disapprove of his performance.
11:41The new rating is one point lower than that recorded last July, although the polling company noted that in the months since it has been between 40 and 41%.
11:52Trump's lowest historical rating is 34% and occurred after the attack on the Capitol at the end of his first term in January 2021.
12:01The poll indicates that 60% of Americans disapprove of the way the president has handled the affairs of the presidency since January 2025.
