00:00After four seasons, what still challenges you the most about this role?
00:05About the role, I think, you know, the morning show is incredible in that we keep turning things around.
00:12Like, the writers don't quit. Like, they're relentless.
00:14I mean, season three, Mia was speaking Russian.
00:18Season four, Mia's playing pool.
00:19Like, there's no end to the research, to the lessons, to the things that I do on this show.
00:26So I think one of the challenges is always bringing your A-game.
00:30But that helps because we've got great new actors coming into the story all the time.
00:34They make you want to do more. They make you want to be better.
00:38And working with people like Mimi Leder and Charlotte Stout, just, you know, you want to do your best.
00:44I know this season takes place in 2024.
00:47Of course, a big political year.
00:49How much does the show tackle the politics?
00:51And are we going to see any part of the election?
00:55You know, we tackle the politics of work life, business, corporate life, C-suites, how people live every day.
01:06And I think that that is part of what makes our show so timeless.
01:11That we're not, again, chasing headlines.
01:14You know, we're not ripping it from the headline.
01:15We are actually tapping into deeper stories that are important to our audience.
01:20But also stories that are based in our characters.
01:24You know, and Alex and Bradley and Mia and, you know, Corey.
01:28These are all people who have a lot of art, you know.
01:32And our story is grounded in characters.
01:34And as a plot twist, you get to know more about them.
01:36And I think that's what makes it special.
