00:00You play a bad guy. That's what I've heard.
00:03Yeah, I do. I do play a bad guy.
00:06I feel like that's against type for you. What is that like?
00:09I'm a very evil person, yeah, in real life.
00:11So it's great to finally be myself in a role.
00:16Well, congratulations on being out here tonight.
00:19I mean, how do you approach a presenter role here?
00:23Just, you know, look at the teleprompter and then read each word.
00:28And then when they tell me to go, leave.
00:33That's pretty much what I'm focused on right now.
00:36It's like the bread and butter of it.
00:39Any shows or movies you're kind of particularly rooting for tonight?
00:43Any favorites?
00:44Gosh, you know, I wish I would have seen more.
00:47I haven't been able to really see much of anything,
00:50but I did see Sean Baker's Enora and loved that.
00:56I was really blown away by that.
00:57And that movie just kind of continues to stick with me.
01:02Yeah.
01:02And, I mean, Valentine's Day next week.
01:04Any go-to romances or rom-coms that are kind of your favorites?
01:08Oh, my gosh.
01:09Always Be My Maybe on Netflix.
01:11That's a good one.
01:15I mean, that one is, you know,
01:17I'd call it a classic at this point.
01:19But, of course, the classic of classics is When Harry Met Sally.
01:23I watch that every year.
01:25Yeah.
01:25Yeah.
01:26Yeah.
01:26Yeah.
01:26Will we ever get an Always Be or Maybe 2?
01:29It seems like that.
01:30I don't know.
01:31Maybe.
01:32Maybe.
01:33We'll see.
01:33We'll see.
01:34And a new Shonda show coming up?
01:37Yes.
01:37Yeah.
01:37Tell me about that.
01:38Yeah.
01:38It's called The Residence.
01:39It's coming out on March 20th on Netflix.
01:42It's a screwball whodunit in the White House.
01:46Yeah.
01:47Starring Uzo Aduba as a detective named Cordelia Cup,
01:52who's just the most sought-after, most amazing detective ever.
01:55And I play an FBI agent, Edwin Park, who's been assigned to work with her.
02:01Yeah.
02:02How are you feeling releasing a White House-related show in this moment?
02:08Yeah.
02:09You know, I definitely thought about that.
02:10It is an insane time to do a White House-related show.
02:16But I don't know.
02:19I feel like maybe our show will feel a little more normal than what's going on.
02:25What's going on in the actual White House right now.
02:30Although I have done a good job of really kind of tuning out of the news,
02:34just because it's also, it's just too much.
