The docuseries aims to offer insight into Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend and alleged accomplice via filmed interviews with more than 30 subjects.

00:00A docu-series on Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend and alleged accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein, is coming to Discovery+.
00:06The series, titled Chasing Ghislaine, will debut later this year.
00:09This news comes as Maxwell, the daughter of disgraced billionaire media tycoon Robert Maxwell,
00:14prepares to go on trial in November on charges including sex trafficking and involvement in the abuse of underage girls.
00:20Discovery+, said the series will aim to expose, quote,
00:23the mystery behind Epstein's wealth and influence, and how Maxwell's alleged role within this conspiracy
00:28threatens a shadowy cabal of international elite and world leaders, who might do anything to keep their identities and motives hidden.
00:35Best-selling author and journalist Vicki Ward is currently conducting more than 30 filmed interviews for the investigative docu-series
00:41and an audible original podcast of the same name.
00:43The docu-series will also feature audio recordings with Epstein and others within his circle for Ward's original recording in Vanity Fair.
00:49Ward also has her own personal connection to this story, as she sometimes ran into Maxwell in the same social circles,
00:55long before Epstein was exposed and Maxwell was implicated.
00:58Chasing Ghislaine is produced for Discovery+, by Blackfinn and James Patterson Entertainment,
01:03which recently produced Jeffrey Epstein, Filthy Rich, for Netflix.
