00:00Well, this latest release is the result of a two-day interview with a Deputy Attorney
00:12General, and she answered a wide range of questions, and of course a considerable focus
00:21was on the involvement of prominent people with sexual offenses involving Epstein, and
00:32obviously there's a great deal of interest in that.
00:36She rather clearly exonerated Donald Trump and William Clinton and any other prominent
00:46people by simply saying she never saw any illicit or improper activity by any of them, and
00:58so she was pretty clear on that, and she also reiterated the point that she does not believe
01:08that Epstein committed suicide.
01:10And, of course, that is the official resolution of his death, was that it was by suicide, but
01:22she is still contesting that, as are some other people.
01:27Why have these documents been published, and why now?
01:32Well, there's two sets of documents.
01:35There are the investigatory documents, and by the way, cartons of those were delivered
01:42to the Congress today.
01:44They have been subpoenaed.
01:46Those have not been released to the public.
01:51These transcripts were of literally an oral discussion that went over two days, and I think
02:00there was just such a public interest in it, the Justice Department decided to release
02:07them.
02:10There were not any, as far as I have seen so far, and of course there's two days of transcripts,
02:18there's nothing in them linking any prominent people to misconduct.
02:24The documents that have been turned over, I don't know, because we haven't seen those.
02:32Those have gone to a congressional committee.
02:36She also, by the way, had denounced, or rather made it clear that she had not engaged in any
02:44improper activity, even though she has, in fact, been convicted of it.
02:48So I suppose there would be a legitimate question of her overall credibility, since she is denying
02:55things that she's already been convicted of.
02:59We've also learned recently that Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a minimum security prison.
03:07We've just been seeing some pictures of that there as well.
03:12Has there been any word on why that transfer occurred?
03:16No, there hasn't been any comment on that at all.
03:21She had been in a minimum security prison because she wasn't particularly violent or anything,
03:28but she's now been transferred to a Texas prison farm, which is a camp, which is much less formal
03:40than even a minimum security prison.
03:46She was going to be in a room, so she is absolutely right now.
03:49She doesn't have been in a room.
03:52She's got a small, and she was not standing there.
03:54She was like, oh, I don't know.
03:54She was like, oh, this is a camp.
03:55I don't know I have a plot that I'm going to be in a room.
03:57She was like, oh, we're going to be in a room.
03:59Then we're going to be in a room.
04:00Yeah.
04:01I don't know.
04:02I don't know if she was at the cost of the time, she's going to be in a room.
