As the Oscars struggles to find a new host, BAFTA is sticking by its ritual of keeping with the same name.

00:00In one sense, you're all winners tonight. And in another sense, if you believe that, you'll believe anything.
00:07The Oscars may be struggling to find a new host in the wake of Kevin Hart stepping down,
00:11but the BAFTA Awards are facing no such dilemma as they keep Joanna Lumley as their returning master of ceremonies.
00:17Lumley, or Patsy Stone, as fans of Absolutely Fabulous know her as, first hosted the film awards in 2018
00:23after regular Stephen Fry stepped down and is now set to return in 2019.
00:27I owe her money. Well, how much? Lots. And she says if she doesn't get it, she'll kill me.
00:34Well, no, darling, she's all right. And you, Eddie. Oh, Christ.
00:37The news was announced Wednesday, along with the BAFTA venue, which will once again be London's iconic Royal Albert Hall.
00:43For the third year, Cirque du Soleil, which will be in residence at the Royal Albert Hall at the time,
00:47will perform a piece especially created for the ceremony.
00:50BAFTA's director of awards said,
00:52We're delighted to be returning to the iconic Royal Albert Hall for the third year and collaborating again with Cirque du Soleil.
00:58We're thrilled that Joanna has agreed to return as our host for a second year.
01:01She was fantastic, and we're looking forward to the ceremony with her once again at the helm.
01:05The BAFTA awards will take place February 10th, and the Rising Star nominations are announced January 3rd,
01:17with the full nominations being announced January 9th.
