00:38:43the creativity the creativity Nikita of all the boys and then rolling and stepping and then
00:38:50re-picking back up and being able to move and not missing a step was absolutely a sight to be seen
00:38:56wasn't it really was as you move forward keep working on the upper half of your body get that
00:39:00gap a little bit more closed for me but other than that what was that like mozzi it was fabulous
00:39:06wow I'm gonna do this a lot tonight wow I this is this is what you call I'm gonna show you a quick
00:39:18step and I'm gonna put into it every step I've ever learned in my life and we're gonna do that around
00:39:24the black before which was this you covered the I'm so delighted you did a quick step because you
00:39:28covered this wonderful floor amazingly beautifully I was a bit concerned at the beginning because you
00:39:35came off there and the boys the lovely boys who were dancing with you as well got you out of the
00:39:38lift a bit late and you were and I and and I was talking to myself I thought hello this could be a
00:39:43nasty incident and you picked it up without any hesitation at all straight in
00:39:50oh will she will she yes of course I will oh you were amazing the head is not in the
00:40:01correct position we'll discuss this another day but for today absolutely gorgeous I loved it well done
00:40:07yes sadly there was a lot of gapping I'm afraid blue around that floor faster than a seagull swooping in
00:40:23for a chip darling it was absolutely amazing I'm totally with Anton on that covering the floor was
00:40:29fantastic your timing is exceptional you are such a brilliant
00:40:34you know for me you are so versatile every time I watch you dance every dance there's a new amber and
00:40:45you change with the dance and I absolutely love that I can see that you've been working on that

00:40:56really hard work I can see you working on that for me there's like a way of dancing like you know
00:41:02quite male way and that would be Lewis and the answer to that is you I think you are that the

00:57:51on her life, career and Strictly adventure so far.

00:58:03When I was little, the first thing I wanted to be, obviously,
00:58:06was a princess.
00:58:07Then, a barrister.
00:58:09Then, I realised, I just wanted to wear the costume.
00:58:12Maybe, I actually want to be an actor.
00:58:15ER came calling, and it changed my life.
00:58:18It really was a family.
00:58:21I stayed for 22 years.
00:58:24Los Angeles and ER have been a colossal, definitive part of her life,
00:58:28and to leave them behind was not straightforward.
00:58:31It wasn't easy.
00:58:33Welcome to the breakfast club.
00:58:37The major factors in coming back.
00:58:42My daughter was born in America.
00:58:44I had finished ER.
00:58:45I had met my husband, Jonathan.
00:58:48I'd started commuting to do Doctor Who.
00:58:51And Jonathan was doing a very long commute to LA.
00:58:53I was doing a very long commute to LA.
00:58:54And there's a point at which you just go, we need to be together.
00:58:59Jonathan is just the most incredible human being.
00:59:03He gets me in a way that nobody else really has.
00:59:07He writes me poetry, and he also will learn a poem,
00:59:12and then just recite it to me.

00:59:17It had become a fairy girl with blossoms in her golden hair,
00:59:22who called me by her name,
00:59:24then ran and faded through the brightening air.

00:59:32I'm insanely proud of her.
00:59:33And it's extraordinary to me to think
00:59:37that only a year ago, Alex was really not well.
00:59:43I was diagnosed with a uterine cancer.
00:59:46I had to go in and have a full hysterectomy.
00:59:50Then they found out that the cancer had moved.
00:59:53I had to have radiotherapy.
00:59:55So coming off the back of that, getting the all clear,
00:59:59I decided that I would do strictly.
01:00:02When I watch her dance, I think, you know,

01:00:12It's just an incredible gift that I will take with me
01:00:15till the end of my days.
