00:26:50And he was dancing, trying to, and you were like that. I'm not getting involved. You were sort of detached from him.
00:26:55And every time he tried, you went, oh. And he tried, and I could see him trying again, and you went, oh.
00:27:03I like it when you play art again. And I loved that sense of the dance, because that's real characterisation.

00:58:09Then I realized I just wanted to wear the costume
00:58:12Maybe I actually want to be an actor
00:58:15ER came calling and it changed my life
00:58:18It really was a family
00:58:20I stayed for 22 years
00:58:23Los Angeles and ER
00:58:25Have been a colossal definitive part of her life
00:58:28And to leave them behind was not straightforward
00:58:30It wasn't easy

00:58:41My daughter was born in America
00:58:43I had finished ER
00:58:45I had met my husband Jonathan
00:58:47I'd started commuting to do Doctor Who
