00:36that's some of the best book work I've ever seen in a viennese this was the

00:43dance of the night during the first bit he was doing absolutely incredible I know

01:03that your mom is watching and she's so proud of you so great show so far

01:16the standard is insane that is going to be an unbelievably hard dance off it doesn't

01:21matter where you are on the leaderboard I personally believe nobody's safe

01:24results show it's out of our hands let's go

01:39welcome to strictly come dancing the results on Saturday night the dancing was immense we had our

02:07tightest week seven leaderboard ever with only nine celebrities left in the

02:12competition the race to the glitter ball is heating up nobody wants to go home

02:17tonight two more couples will battle it out in the dance-off but who that will be

02:22is down to your votes before we find out who is safe let's see what the judges

02:27thought of an amazing night in the ballroom

02:34it was absolutely fantastic tonight we went from ballroom darling to Bollywood I loved every minute

02:45there were a lot of tennis fellow judges I gave one out how many did you get I think I gave three ten ten

02:52this standard is extraordinary top of the leaderboard is Vicky followed by amber amber and Nikita I totally love that I mean that dance was extremely difficult those lips were not easy and they're extremely dangerous

03:12dangerous my favorite performance I've ever done on strictly come dancing but the tango from Vicky

03:22just immaculate I never actually thought I'd ever get tense and tonight I did it she should be

03:31feeling really good after that I'm sorry I'm just so happy middle of the leaderboard is

03:40Lewis Karen Belvinda and George Karen and Carlos was the highest scoring Charleston of the series

03:47I actually felt that Carlos had to keep up with Karen she was going boom boom boom it's a battle

03:54between football and a dancer and she won this woman I mean watch out Lewis's cha-cha-cha an

04:02excellent excellent dance incredible this man can cha-cha and I love George and Alexis fantastic

04:08footwork thought they did a great blend of open and closed work you were fantastic the way you

04:13went right round the full dance floor thank you very much I love Belvinda's couples choice it was so

04:21authentic it was beautiful she's so expressive when she dances I am feeling on top of the world and the

04:29other end of the leaderboard is Alex Harry and Lavoie felt with Alex and Johannes technically very

04:37very strong but underperformed when it came to passion and love and really enjoying the moment

04:45Lavoie I love her personality but she really has to step up her game when it comes to dance content

04:53what more do they need from me I think the answer is technique and dancing I think it's

04:58something I've just realized it's quite a big part of this competition I thought Harry for him the

05:02dance is still quite strong but the level just has improved around him everybody just up their

05:09game in one hand I'm absolutely elated I'm buzzing but the scores would say otherwise I'm quite far down

05:14the leaderboard I have never seen a competition that's so close it's getting more difficult to

05:20have the deciding vote it's going to be a tough decision nobody is safe

05:25the resort show it never sits well with me and I never look forward to it if I'm honest

05:32it's getting harder and harder each week everyone's up in their game I don't know what my life would

05:38be like now without dancing I'd like to hope I've done enough to stay I always prepare for the worst

05:45it is all about the public though now more than ever the competition feels very tight being the

05:53other top of the leaderboard doesn't necessarily mean yes if I feel super nervous right now it's out of

06:00my hands obviously where I'm on the leaderboard would indicate that I should be nervous and I am

06:04it's anybody's game nobody's safe with these results

06:08at the halfway point of the series the competition really couldn't be closer but who have you decided

06:31deserves another week in the ballroom let's find out the results are in

06:35in no particular order the first couple safely through to next week is

08:38Mopsy as we said it is the closest leaderboard we have ever had in week seven which means this could be a really challenging decision for the judge with the casting vote that is you this week how are you feeling well I mean it's going to be close this year because all the couples are so good and the standard is high for me in first place is always the dancing the dancing counts I have

08:40a responsibility here for the couples for the judges so I take the judges so I take this very seriously

08:44and the dance off is the overall and the first is the estimated that I'm having and zalman and I'll see you that this is the closest leaderboard we have ever had in week seven which means this could be a really challenging decision for the judge with the casting vote that is you this week

08:51How you feeling well I mean it's going to be closed this year because all the couples are so good and the standard is high for me in first place is always the dancing the dancing counts I have a responsibility here for the couples for us the judges so I take this very seriously

09:17claude is with our first stage couple i have five very happy couples with me you are all past the

09:26halfway point congratulations valvinda how special was saturday night saturday night was incredible

09:34it was a lovely moment for me to be able to represent my community and culture and to just

09:40let everybody else in to see what we're about the punjabi dolby is our heartbeat and it was so

09:47lovely to do that and also for jules like this guy's amazing he's he's like enthusiasm and just

09:54joy for the whole dance just made it so much more special how does it feel to you jules to be saved

10:01by the public oh amazing just to everyone out there thank you so much for the support thank

10:05you for voting i'm just so glad that our journey gets to continue it was the most special moment

10:11and yeah i actually can't put it into words it was just complete elation and joy and yeah i just love

10:18you and it was so much fun and i'm so glad it was beautiful you have got we all have like just great

10:26girlfriends but yours have gone above and beyond can we have a conversation about kim yeah kim came all

10:31the way from leeds to see me she just came to give me a hug because she said i know that it's been a

10:36hard week um and i know that you're feeling a little bit out of sorts and i'm here for you and she literally

10:52the charleston for a moment yeah i was told to do some research so i thought i'd be really good so i

10:57looked at linda hop so i came into to carlos and i said carlos is linda hop who is she i can't find her

11:04anywhere she keeps googling me about my business carlos tell us what is the dance next week what is

11:19the plan it's american smooth it's a big it's whimsy it's dramatic it's imaginable it's everything

11:26it's strictly about wow thank you yeah i'm giving that a 10 i don't even know what just happened i love

11:36you mom george talk to me because i believe you're going through a bit of a crisis regarding your head

11:41yeah no i moved house in week three um yeah now my barber is like an hour away so i don't really want

11:49to test anyone out whilst on national tv because that could go really sideways can i do it who wants to

11:54have a go could we jump when i said i don't want to test anyone oh no but we would do it with love

12:02um fantastic fridge you see oh come on alexis i believe george has introduced you to the snacks

12:09of the uk tell me more yes i have been introduced to the wonders that is a corner shop

12:17i love salt and vinegar flavors and there's so many salt vinegar flavor options here and so i've just

12:23had my pick of this this is excellent yes tell me because i know it means a lot to you tell me

12:31the song you're dancing to next week uh well at the start of the series you sort of get told like

12:35what's your sort of have you got like a playlist that you listen to like what sort of music do you

12:38like the only song that i said was uh somewhere only we know yeah uh because my sister sang that my

12:44granddad's funeral and i know it means a lot to my family uh and we've had various troubles throughout the

12:49year so i wanted to sort of have something that would be a nice thing to sort of give to them

12:54yeah we'll resonate with them we cannot wait to see the dance thank you so much

13:01vicky i know how much you want to make it to blackpool that is coming up after next week are you even

13:07letting yourself dream about it so can i have a scene what's it about the rabbits a man who chases two

13:14rabbits never catches either of them which means if we don't look too far ahead we'll focus on each

13:20week so i'm only trying to catch one rabbit at the minute and that is that is next week but i will

13:26just say um my grandma and granddad used to dance at blackpool and they're like no longer with work um

13:32but it would mean a lot to me to be there and dance in the same place they did and sort of do them

13:37proud in that way so even though i am firmly focused on the first rabbit i am sort of thinking

13:42about the second one you can just see the tail of the second rabbit um car you really wanted to crack

13:50the final judge yes craig and you did on saturday night how did it feel oh it felt good i never

13:56thought i'd hear craig say perfect and be talking about us but this one just pulled it out of the bag

14:00and i said to her before we went on i said this is your floor go and rip it up and i think she did just

14:04that stuff that was a brilliant thing to say congratulations again amber you've said that

14:12this whole situation this whole show it's a bit like being a yo-yo it's like emotionally the start

14:19of the week is so different to the end of the week yeah you know you get given your choreography

14:23and you think no no no no no no this isn't going to be ready by saturday night and then

14:27you know you start going up and down like a yo-yo emotionally yeah it's like it's so enjoyable

14:34and then you all look after each other and you've said that as well george i've loved it you said

14:38the best thing is being able to watch each other and everybody everybody goes through the same

14:43thing you know so we we're all doing this together absolutely nikita you have got the song of songs

14:50next week please share yes i do claude and we have the dance of dances as well and we are dancing the

15:24now this year's children need is on bbc one on friday november the 14th at seven we had the privilege of

15:32meeting christopher a strictly fan who told us just what your donations have meant to him and his family

15:44my name is christopher and i'm 16 years old

15:46um i was wishing um patsy was going to speak to us today but he couldn't make it to the bbc

15:50studios in ell street christopher was diagnosed with autism when he was three years old tricky times then

16:00he wouldn't play with people he played alongside people he couldn't handle the interaction when i

16:07heard about this is us i i couldn't believe my luck this is a dance company it's a it's a it's a big

16:13piece of fresh air it's um about being yourself really to see people like christopher thrive through

16:20movement and creativity means the absolute world we do what we do because we see that it can make a

16:26difference without the funding from children in need we wouldn't be able to open as many doors to

16:32new families it's much more than just learning some dances he's for him it's given him an enormous

16:38amount of confidence you're also a massive strictly fan aren't you yeah i know if i would describe one

16:46word i think it would be um fantastic he's just completely engrossed in strictly

16:53if i would have to pick a favorite judge it would be anton de beck he's hilarious

16:59my favorite dancer is nikita

17:10can i tell you like a big surprise that i have for you what you're gonna visit

17:15strictly with anton oh that's exciting thank you so much yes yes

17:26how are you how are you man i look younger in real life you guys you do look a bit younger in real

17:31life thank you very much this is the hair and makeup department the answer with george and you've done the

17:37dance from keyboard demon hunters it was a soda part are you enjoying it oh i love it what are you

17:42liking about it so pumped i love how it's all busy around here oh it's veto hi veto we can't thank

17:50this is us and children in need enough really for helping christopher get to where he is this is a great

18:06now christopher is the most outgoing most sociable person you could possibly meet

18:13he's a party animal isn't he it's good isn't it it's good size love it dancing it makes us feel

18:20stronger smarter happy and uh makes us feel beloved about ourselves we're so proud of him and just

18:27can't oh i'm willing to see christopher be able to come here and interact with everyone it's really

19:22thank you so much for coming um craig i'm going to start with you good uh because alex had a tricky

19:28saturday night and it's true isn't it that not every dance can sue every person that's true

19:34and i think what froze her on the saturday night was the fact that she was thinking too much about

19:43technically what she was doing and almost forgot to live the experience yeah you know that can stop

19:50you you know from acting as well because you're so terrified about getting the footwork right and all

19:56the shaping right because it's an odd odd dance and it's very very difficult and i think she did a

20:02brilliant job i mean she was clean she was very very she danced it brilliantly but we know as judges

20:09she could dance it so much better if she had have just let her personality go but we love her we think

20:16she's amazing yeah thank you very very much shirley i'd love to talk to you about balvinda she got her

20:22highest score of the competition so far you loved it specifically you mentioned their teamwork tell me more

20:30well i was very happy for balvinda she's been in the bottom two a few times now and she came out on

20:35saturday night with julian and her arm movements and her synchronicity and her flow was absolutely

20:43outstanding i mean even i learned some things off her when i was watching and hats off to julian he got

20:49out there and he just partnered like there was no tomorrow so i think she was fantastic what a night to

20:57have absolutely agreed thank you anton i need to talk to you about amber and nikita you love their

21:04lifts so much you almost recreated one of them you can do it now tell you what we can give you the

21:09fireman's and john will take control don't worry is this safe trust him if you can now what happens is

21:15what we'll do i think for safety purposes for safety our move what we'll do is i'll come over here

21:22rather rather maybe i'll just what are you doing i'll put it like that and then you can do it

21:29look at that beautiful amazing amazing amazing um you see i feel so much better you're made of air that

21:47was amazing but you were particularly impressed with those lifts i know what was it about 23 it was so

21:53wonderful they do we talk about the lifts a lot because we do lift in a number of the dances yeah

21:59and we talk about the ins and the outs of the lifts because the in and the out of the lift is as

22:05important as the bit in the air really but if you can see it come in and go it it's not very interesting

22:11those were seamless and the one at the end where shot through the arms like that finished in a deep

22:17long plie amazing thank you very much um mozi you said vicky had the dance of the night why was it so

22:25perfect for you well i think for us it's really important that the dancers uh the celebs the the

22:32couples make it easy for us to judge yes they need to make clarity in music performance all of that and

22:39she gave us that we don't need to think about it we're just looking for a performance and when we see

22:44those mistakes it's it's actually not a good feeling for us so she gave us a perfect dance

22:51we could actually enjoy it even watching it again you enjoy it and that's always a sign of just being

22:57outstanding and that's what she was okay thank you so much um can we just have a moment for

23:03that he's so versatile he is my husband watch this

29:46You know, I would love to see Lavoie do a heel turn.

29:50That would be great. If that was slipped in there,

29:53I would love to see a softer knee from Harry, for instance.

29:56I think you are equally matched,

29:58and I think Paul Motsey is going to have a bit of a nightmare,

30:04you know, on this, because it's going to be a tough one for us.
