The war is over, but one battle remains.

As T&T will host Bermuda in their final Group C matchup of World Cup Qualification and while the Soca Warriors are already out of contention, pride is still very much on the line.

Head Coach Dwight Yorke says he expects his players to finish the campaign with a win, insisting that every match is an opportunity to set higher standards and build toward the next cycle.

00:00Don't expect TNT to take things for granted against Bermuda tomorrow.
00:04That's a promise from Dwight York as he says his players are motivated to finish the tournament on a high.
00:09We talked about the standards that we try to set ourselves despite the disappointment in the game against Jamaica
00:18and not getting the maximum point in the game.
00:24Now, it's easy to just go through the motion and you can tell in my selection
00:29there will be changes but not a whole deal of household changes.
00:34We've still got a relatively very strong squad.
00:38We want to end the campaign on a high and I think it's important that we do that.
00:43Despite the disappointing end to the campaign, York pointed out an area in which they have made strides.
00:48The recruitment and the players that I've brought in and been able to get through various research that we have done,
00:59the due diligence in terms of the standard and the age of the recruitment of the players that we try to bring in.
01:06I think you can see that this is a new era of Trinidad and Tobago football.
01:10There's a lot of names and faces that a lot of people in Trinidad and Tobago is not very familiar with.
01:16And so I'm very proud of the recruitment.
01:21The backroom staff has been able to come up with these names that now that Trinidad and Tobago public can really identify themselves with.
01:31The former captain listed a number of areas that have to improve from the domestic league, pitches, sponsorship and much more
01:38and explained the value of the world ranking.
01:41Crossout was maybe, you know, 15 spaces ahead of us.
01:45You know, those are the numbers and the gap that these teams have got ahead of us.
01:51And I know a lot of people may not look at that as a significant thing, but it is vitally important that our ranking is better.
01:59So if a team is ranked, you know, 15th place ahead of us, that's because of the results in friendlies and the international games that we play.
02:09So we need to close the gap in every sense.
02:13So every game we play is towards or geared towards a better ranking and a better ranking mean that you get a favorable draw.
02:23And he paid tribute to Captain Kevin Molino, who will retire from the international game after Bermuda.
02:28I think he was exceptional.
02:30I think whenever I called up on him to lead the team, he's always been there first and given 100 percent.
02:39And when he wasn't even playing, he was there being very supportive.
02:43And not very often you get characters like that in the team who can be a little disruptive.
02:51Molino wasn't that.
02:53He was all in, all hands on deck.
02:55And I'm sure that, you know, Trinidad and Tobago is going to miss a person who has been very influential in Trinidad and Tobago football.
03:04Terence Clark, TV6 Sport.
