00:00All right, we're back kicking as the national head coach Dwight York says the conk-down is on
00:09as Trinidad and Tobago prepare to face Curaçao in their CONCACAF World Cup qualifier on September 8th.
00:16While speaking on a podcast with Andre Aralbatista and Tony Lee, York said his biggest concern is keeping players fit and ready
00:22as the SoCo Warriors look to take a decisive step towards World Cup qualification.
00:27We are now in the middle of August and so they probably have three or four games to play prior to arriving in the camp
00:37or what you consider the international window which starts from the 1st of September.
00:43So that's be the first thing first in terms of concern, make sure that the players got through this phase of games
00:49and to stay healthy and fit and if that's the case because overall you'll be looking and assessing players
00:56in this period of time and if people are getting injuries so you have to have not just plan A but plan B as well as plan C.
01:04Well, still the former Manchester United stars urging his squad to act responsibly
01:09and avoid injuries before they rejoin the team while insisting that he's not overly worried.
01:14Well, I don't watch it nervously. I'm just like every other coach, not just myself, but every international coach
01:21are hoping that their players stay fit in that period of time.
01:24So that is exactly my biggest concern at this point in time.
01:29As I said, we are working behind the scene to make sure that we have a strategic plan in place.
