03:31well I lost one at the boat just a second ago we're gonna definitely let him grow up but man
03:37look how beautiful and all I can say is hey it only matters that I landed the first one before
03:42Kylie even though he's really tiny all right these little bass are a lot of fun to catch still
03:51working on upgrading but I'm just gonna say misty to Kylie zero right now but she'll probably show
03:58me up a little bit later she loves to outfish me on my own show but that's all right okay okay
04:03keep it tight keep it tight yep okay man that was cool so just we'll see him come up and you know
04:12chase that shrimp a little bit bigger I'm upgrading a little bit okay I'm just gonna flip them right
04:17in the boat hopefully bam okay look at that this is a little bit better bass man this is a great fish
04:25to catch he put up a pretty good fight too I knew this one was a little bit bigger than the last two
04:30beautiful beautiful fish and we just got started I mean three fish in the boat pretty quickly this is
04:36why it's the bass capital of the world out here okay we got another fish on let's see if we can get
04:41him to the boat keep the line tight and be patient okay hold on oh he's a good one okay check that out
04:49I'm getting lucky today I've got the hot hand so I'm excited he's not as big as the last one but
04:55beautiful fish okay easy there you go okay get him in the boat there you go girl Kylie got one in the
05:05boat so this is her first legit bass of the day but there's still a lot of time left but she's got a
05:11four one you got a little bit a little bit of fishing to make up for but good right yeah oh I
05:18know you can do it next up it's lines in Misty and Kylie continue their day fishing for bass on the
05:25water following the catch they take a break for lunch at the popular three bananas restaurant

05:57here we're out here on the st. Johns River again the scenery number one it's just incredible it's so
06:12peaceful and beautiful out here and of course the bites pretty hot you know once the current started
06:18moving a little bit the bites just picking up I mean you're soaking a bait for a couple of minutes and
06:23and something's happening kind of like right now okay hold on I had to take a little break from that
06:31and reel in this fish see if I can get them in the boat this feels like a decent one yeah that's a pretty
06:38good one okay okay another fun one right here dude we're in the hot spot the water started moving a
06:48little bit then that bite started picking up I mean you're soaking a bait a minute or two and
06:53then boom you're catching one of these beauties right here oh yeah it's a little one not bad
07:00super excited to be back here in Putnam County bass fishing with Misty again while I might have only
07:05caught two so far I know there's bigger and better out there for us okay here we go oh this feels like a
07:12pretty good one I threw mine right in the middle oh hold on I gotta keep it tight so I don't lose them
07:18because he doesn't want to come in the boat okay another nice one kind of losing count Kylie I think
07:25it's like seven or eight or something like that but that's okay I mean I think we're kind of you know
07:29in the juvenile bass area because we're catching a lot of this size really healthy really fat they're eating
07:37good what we're gonna do since the wind's blowing in the front's coming in a little bit we're gonna get
07:56it upside the wind power pole down and we're gonna let the shrimp drift up under the dock
08:03and the bass it should be behind the pylons or something on the back side of the dock out of the current
08:09okay I already got one he's on anyway I shouldn't say I got him okay here we go I'm gonna bring him
08:19over to you boom all right look at that nice fish okay they're getting bigger and bigger and bigger
08:27there you go Kylie's got one on oh nice one Kylie now this is why it is the bass capital of the world
08:35right here in Putnam County come on get him out okay get him out got him out okay ah don't jump off
08:41we're gonna bring him over here and just net him be on the safe side boom Kylie's on
08:47here we go double trouble four bass in about four minutes yeah yeah now look yours is bigger than mine
08:56so I better keep fishing okay okay here we go here we go let's see if I can get him out of there
09:01okay the bite is really gentle they're sneaky they're sneaky over here I'm gonna get them in
09:07the net specs or crappie depends on where you live what you call them I think that's a pretty nice one
09:13I mean I haven't caught very many I think this is a really good prize of the day right here hopefully
09:18it'll be your first crappie how cool would that be it is it is okay bring it back bring he's gonna net
09:23it for you take it to the back oh man that's a nice one too what dude that's a good fish for your
09:30first crappie girl nice in last season season five you caught your biggest bass ever so far to date
09:37and now here in Putnam County first crappie
09:40Crescent City has so much to offer we've got the water we've got the small quiet community like I said
09:55we're close to everything and we've got great people here in Crescent City and we just love our
10:00community we've got some great places to dine of course three bananas we are just a hidden gem here in Florida
10:09all of our food is what we would consider comfort food we can fancy it up but that's really not what
10:21people come to three bananas right you have a resident that has lived on property for close
10:26to 700 years that is correct and tell us a little bit about her she's gone through many storms she is a
10:34bald white cypress the bald white cypress is very specific in that it is a single trunk that goes all
10:40the way up and she is the oldest in the state don't move Missy and Kylie embark on a beautiful evening

11:32we're here with earth kinship sunset kayak tours right here in downtown Palatka and we're doing
11:39something really unique it's more than just a sunset kayak tour we're actually gonna be looking for some
11:44special critters that live and hibernate under the bridge during the day some bats so not only are we
11:50gonna get a beautiful sunset on the St. Johns River we're hoping to see some of these bats coming
11:55out for the evening to make it extra special it's gonna be a lot of fun it's just another great thing
11:59and another great way you can take it outside right here in Putnam County so first thing is how to hold
12:06your paddle the black part here is called a shaft you're gonna have a drip ring on either side last
12:10part is called the blade I like them about a fist to a fist and a half from the blade these drip rings
12:14if any water goes on this side of the drip ring then run down your arm it will get you wet and we're off
12:22woo I'm ready ready as I'll ever be yeah this is really one thing I love about coming here to Putnam
12:35County you get the feel of old Florida and there's so much to do it's just incredible I love it can't
12:41wait for the sunset tonight it's really cool so as the bats were coming out tonight hundreds and
12:57thousands of bats which is really really cool but also there's a lot under the bridge right now just
13:04hanging out they haven't left yet they're still hanging out you can hear them so I would imagine
13:08they're coming in and out all night under the bridge this is Ayalani and he's got earth kinship kayak
13:26tours what we did tonight was super special this is something actually I've never done before now I've
13:31kayaked before but something he does is really special tell our viewers you know what type of bats you
13:38think that they are sure there's three different types that I have my suspicion that they are one
13:43it's either the evening bat the southern mitosis or the Brazilian free tail and they are all colony
13:48nesters my understanding they don't mind nesting together next time you guys are planning a trip to
13:53Putnam County you've got to go paddling with earth kinship because it is a blast not only can you do the
13:59river you can do some springs and his kayaks are the Cadillac of kayaks it's totally the way to paddle
14:07what's come back sauce they're gonna make you come back that's what she's gonna say when you ask
14:24why do you call it the comeback sauce makes you come back when we return Misty and Kylie are trading
14:42poles for arrows they dive into something completely new an intense night of bow fishing this is a first

15:13hey guys I'm excited for you guys to join us for something new in Putnam County Captain Kyle is
15:22gonna take us out on the water and we're gonna be bow fishing tell us a little bit about like how it all
15:29works and what we're gonna be targeting today well we'll be targeting tilapia gar catfish mudfish which
15:36is a another name for its bow fins so a whole lot of different species now Kylie you've never done this
15:41before right you excited very excited I've done it one time and I was grateful I got one fish the
15:48whole night but the cool thing about doing this is you guys make it easy so if you haven't done this
15:54before but always wanted to this is where you got to come do it right here in Putnam County it's
15:59gonna be a lot of fun you guys ready I'm ready okay let's go quick rundown on the bows reel it up to
16:08about a foot of line there grab halfway down on your arrow and you want to push your butt and
16:12that'll give you some slack you want your line and your arrow through your rest there knock your
16:16arrow reel in your slack push a button relax these fingers like any other bow draw back and you release
16:22if you don't shoot and you drop it down you got all this slack here you want to reel that up so it
16:27doesn't tangle push your button again I keep reading the key is if you think you're shooting low shoot
16:33lower if you think you're low enough go a little lower yeah so you're looking straight down your
16:38arrow through your rest that's your sights you find your fish and you want to drop it low the deeper
16:44they are the lower you want to shoot okay is there anything we shouldn't do miss okay or fall in once
16:52we get the fish here's kind of the weird part are you reeling it up with the reel yes ma'am so when you
16:58release and you hit the fish right as soon as you start reeling like that it's gonna lock your line
17:03so what you do is you use it like a rod you're gonna pull up reel down I hope you guys get out
17:08here and try this because we haven't even started yet and I'm really excited and once people do it I
17:13know they're hooked right oh yeah once you see that arrow dancing it's game over okay we're gonna rock
17:20paper scissors see who's going first rock paper scissors shoot biggin oh yeah oh okay this is
17:29happening we're gonna get a big old fat lazy tilapia this is so weird and cool at the same time oh got
17:39he got it got it oh wow that's a big one holy moly look at that that's the kind of fish I need to get
17:50right there look at that wow get them a little high go lower get it missy oh crap okay oh right there get
18:04him oh my god did it get him I'm so mad oh yeah yeah all right got a car a giant hey look it's an
18:20invasive species so it's really cool to like get that in the boat it's awesome oh right here did it
18:29get him get him no oh I'm so mad I think you know you better get him okay he's just waiting for you
18:36that was awesome come on girl okay we're trying man we're trying got it what'd you get oh wow that's
18:46a big one okay oh yeah yeah yeah get him get him oh that was so close got it he's the cleanup crew
18:58good job see now what happened is kylie shot and scared him back to you yeah so you could get him
19:07that's cool that's cool kylie come see what you missed okay it's our last chance we're almost there
19:15oh just high oh my gosh big guard big guards right here right here oh shoot I see it like five years
19:30too late I'm following I'm following I see I see him over there he went into the shadows oh god he's
19:37going big guard you did not yeah are you kidding me wow right here right here right here right here
19:45right here right here lower lower oh darn it
19:50so after six seasons of let's take it outside there's been a lot of times where I get out fished
19:59on my own show and today is no exception because all these fish right here I didn't get a single
20:05one of them and neither did Kylie but here's the good thing we had a good time out here you know
20:11learning to bow fish and learning a new skill they say you miss a hundred percent of the shots that you
20:18don't take but tonight I missed a hundred percent of the shots I did take but that doesn't mean we
20:23didn't have a good time I mean this is a cool sport I know why it's like so popular it's a lot of fun I
20:29can't wait to come back out here with captain Kyle and Seth because this was a great time out on the
20:35water here in Putnam County bow fishing is where it's at I'm telling them fishing was hot the shooters were not
