00:00You're a producer, you're a DJ.

00:06What is, I guess, the, what in the Detroit musical environment first drew you to wanting

00:13to dive into production and into DJ?

00:18It really started off with, shout out to my mom, my parents, my grandparents.

00:25It was just like so much so embedded in my family.

00:30I didn't know really much what, know what to do with it as a kid.

00:34I just kept like singing like stuff out, you know what I'm saying?

00:39Like trying to get out, oh, what if this beat sounded like this or something like this.

00:43So like as a kid, I was already thinking of isolating stems or however like things are

00:49now to, you know what I'm saying, production wise.

00:53And I didn't know I was going to be DJing either.

00:55So it was really like I was just humming and, you know, trying to get things out

01:01and then end up finding myself making music around like early beginning stages of high

01:08school, around like my freshman year of high school, like 2007.

01:13And then it just went on up from there.

01:15Like couldn't stop, couldn't stop me.

01:18Like I was like, yo, like I get to make anything I want.

01:20It's a rap, son.

01:21You know what I'm saying?

01:21And so like it was legit, it was up there.

01:24So.
