00:00Paul Pearl from Patriots.com, i.e. Sunshine.com joins us in our Town Fair Tire Studios for his regular Wednesday stint.
00:06Last week when we talked to Paul, you said you do not consider the Patriots a real Super Bowl contender.
00:11Do you still feel that way?
00:13Nope.
00:13You've changed your mind, that's it?
00:15I have.
00:15One game?
00:17It's not the game that you think.
00:18Oh.
00:20It's the Buffalo-Miami game that changed my mind.
00:22Oh.
00:23I believe, I would be really, really surprised now if the Patriots don't win the division.
00:29And that changes my entire outlook on the playoffs.
00:32So I am here to take my medicine from you three.
00:37I don't do that.
00:38No.
00:38No.
00:39I'm not that guy.
00:39I'm not.
00:40People think I would.
00:41I don't.
00:41You are that guy.
00:42I'm not.
00:43But, no.
00:43Win some, lose some, Paul.
00:45In all seriousness, I think we had a good back and forth last week.
00:48You guys know that I really enjoy that.
00:50Yes.
00:50Because I kind of live for that.
00:52Yes.
00:52But, in all seriousness, Buffalo, to me, was just sort of been there, done that.
01:00They're going to win enough games that they need to win to get in a position that they feel most comfortable in.
01:05You lose to Miami.
01:07And, Tony Romo spent the broadcast talking about a two-game lead, which, to me, entirely missed the point.
01:14Because the head-to-head is irrelevant when you've only played once and you're going to play again.
01:19Right.
01:19But, what's not irrelevant is that loss for Buffalo was in division.
01:25First tiebreaker.
01:25Well, second tiebreaker.
01:26So, that's two divisional losses for Buffalo.
01:29So, even if Buffalo beats the Patriots in Foxborough, and they pull even, the Patriots would still have the leg up with the tiebreaker, assuming they can beat the Jets twice in Miami, which I assume they will.
