Bicycling's Tara Seplavy talks about staying safe on the roads with the Lezyne Radar Light.
Transcript
00:00So everybody around the office has been asking me, Tara, why do you have two radar lights on
00:05the rear of your bike? Well, the reason for this is I'm testing the lower one that you see there,
00:10which is the new Lazine radar system. And that radar light, you can buy it alone,
00:18but you can also buy it as a package with a front light. Cool thing about this is the two
00:24lights communicate with each other. And you don't need to be running a cycling head unit
00:30to have the great advantages of radar and know when you've got a car creeping up on you.
00:36So far in testing, it's been great. I haven't noticed any sort of delay in picking up any sort
00:44of vehicles between the trusted Wahoo Tracker radar, which is like our best tested radar,
00:50and the new Lazine. I would say the only perhaps slight inconvenience, if you have used a radar
00:57system before, of using the light as your display is it's not telling you the real position of the
01:04vehicle behind you, how many vehicles are behind you. For that, you need a head unit. If you do use
01:09a head unit and you want to use a Lazine light radar system, it'll also pair with your head unit.
01:15So far, thing has been great. So this is a good product you can pick up. They're all over out there.
01:20Great recommended product.
