00:00Welcome to the new video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03This time, it's all about the Puma X22 Dirt Bike from Baku.
00:08A real powerhouse in the off-road sector with amazing technology and impressive performance.
00:15At the heart of the Puma X2 is a centrally mounted electric motor that achieves a peak output of 25,000 watts.
00:22In plain language, this means pure electrical power, which shines above all in terms of torque.
00:30The bike delivers a whopping 850 Nm, which translates directly into brilliant acceleration from 0 to 100 kmh in just 5 seconds.
00:40This figure puts the X22 in the same league as real super-sport motorcycles such as the Ducati Penigalli V4 or the BMW S1000RR1.
00:51However, with the difference that this is an all-electric dirt bike,
00:56the top speed is 124 kmh.
01:00During the first test runs, 111 kmh was already achieved, with some room for improvement.
01:07The whole thing is controlled via a continuously variable automatic transmission CVT,
01:12which transfers the power directly to the rear wheel.
01:15There is even a reverse gear for additional comfort.
01:18The energy is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 73 Ah at 84 Volts.
01:26This can be fully charged in around 2 hours.
01:30This is sufficient for a theoretical range of up to 161 km.
01:34Realistically, however, this value is likely to be somewhat lower, especially with sporty driving and high performance demands.
01:43The chassis is made of a sturdy mixture of steel and aluminum.
01:49The total weight including all components such as brakes, throttle and wiring is approximately 129 kg.
01:57Interestingly, there is no classic foot brake.
02:01Braking is done exclusively by hand, as with an e-bike.
02:04The X-22 also offers a certain amount of sleekness, as is typical of Buku.
02:11A modular luggage rack system at the rear allows you to carry equipment for a wide range of outdoor activities,
02:16from adventure trips to off-road excursions.
02:18As for the price, the X-22 costs around $9,000 in the U.S., which is around 8,300 euros.
02:30Buku offers special discounts for military personnel, emergency services and teachers.
02:36These can add up to around 1,400 euros.
02:39So anyone looking for a powerful, electrically powered off-road bike with sporty ambitions and versatile uses
02:49should definitely have the Puma X-22 on their radar.
