00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the X-Bike X21 Max.
00:07A new two-wheeler with impressive electric performance, which, strictly speaking, isn't an e-bike.
00:14Anyone interested in the X21 Max should therefore definitely familiarize themselves with the legal requirements in Germany before purchasing it, as this vehicle isn't permitted on public roads.
00:25Its use is only permitted on private property in this country.
00:31The X21 Max is an electric bicycle equipped with pedals, but legally classified as an electric motorcycle or electric scooter.
00:42This is due, among other things, to the built-in electric motor with a peak output of up to 3,000 watts and a continuous output of 1,000 watts, which enables a top speed of around 70 kilometers per hour.
00:56This makes the model significantly different from a classic e-bike, which is usually subject to completely different regulations.
01:04The X21 Max is delivered by the manufacturer Banget from a warehouse in the Czech Republic, which should enable fast delivery within a few days.
01:13The price is around 2,600 euros.
01:18For that, you get a technically well-equipped electric 2AD with hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, which are additionally combined with an electronic anti-lock braking system, IABS.
01:30This system can help prevent dangerous rollover situations during sudden braking, significantly increasing safety.
01:40Another highlight is the built-in battery with a capacity of 1,800 watt-hours, which equates to approximately 1.8 kilowatt-hours.
01:49While this capacity would already be quite generous for a conventional e-bike, it is rather low-end for electric motorcycles.
01:58Nevertheless, the manufacturer promises a maximum range of around 90 kilometers.
02:03If the battery is empty, the X21 Max remains usable thanks to the pedals.
02:09A 7-speed Shimano gear system is also on board for a pleasant riding experience.
02:13The X21 Max also scores highly in terms of ride comfort.
02:19Suspension elements similar to those found on cross-bikes are installed both front and rear.
02:25The wide tires also ensure stability, even when venturing off-road.
02:32Lighting provides the necessary visibility and safety in the dark.
02:37An integrated display provides the rider with information on speed, battery level, and more.
02:43As always, you'll find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
