Die Ultraviolette F99 ist das erste elektrische Superbike aus Indien und kommt nun auch nach Deutschland. Mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 256 km/h, 120 PS und einem Sprint von 0 auf 100 km/h in nur 4,5 Sekunden ist die F99 alles andere als ein typisches E-Motorrad.

Das geringe Gewicht von 178 kg wird durch den großzĂŒgigen Einsatz von Karbon erreicht, was sich positiv auf AgilitĂ€t und Performance auswirkt. Die Ausstattung stammt von bekannten Marken: Öhlins liefert das Fahrwerk, Brembo die Bremsanlage.

Der Preis in Indien liegt umgerechnet bei etwa 8.600 €, offizielle Zahlen fĂŒr Europa stehen noch aus. Der Verkaufsstart ist bereits in der TĂŒrkei erfolgt – Deutschland und Spanien sollen zeitnah folgen.

00:07The Ultraviolet F99, the first superbike from India, which is now also coming to Germany.
00:14The e-motorcycle combines lightweight construction, high performance and a comparatively low price
00:19and could thus bring a breath of fresh air to the European market.
00:24While electric motorcycles have so far led a niche existence in this country,
00:28mostly due to their limited range or high prices, a look at Asia shows that things can be different.
00:35In countries like India or Taiwan, electric two-wheelers have long been part of everyday life.
00:41That's where the Ultraviolet F99 was created and it's now setting out to win the hearts of European
00:46motorcycle fans. The motorcycle is not only a technical statement but also a design highlight.
00:54With its aerodynamic lines, its appearance is strongly reminiscent of an aircraft
00:58and not without reason. The name F99 is intended to evoke associations with aviation.
01:06Technically, the F99 impresses with a liquid-cooled electric motor that delivers an output of 120
01:11horsepower. According to the manufacturer, this enables the motorcycle to reach a top speed of up
01:18to 256 kilometers per hour. In early tests, the machine easily broke the 200 kilometers per hour mark
01:27and the sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour takes just four and a half seconds.
01:34These figures are set to be improved even further by the time it is launched on the market.
01:38Another highlight is the weight. At just 178 kilograms, the Ultraviolet F99 is exceptionally light,
01:46which is mainly due to the generous use of carbon. Ultraviolet also focuses on quality when it comes
01:53to components. The chassis is from Ohlins. The brake system is supplied by Brembo.
01:58In India, the price is expected to be around €8,600, which is considered very reasonable for an electric
02:06superbike in this class. There is no official price for Germany yet, but given the statements
02:12made by CEO Naren Supernium, it is clear that a market launch is imminent. According to his announcement,
02:21sales began in Turkey in March. Retail sales are now also set to start in Germany and Spain shortly.
