00:05Today, we're all about the brand new BYYDT5 truck for the 2025 model year,
00:11which was recently officially unveiled on July 18th.
00:14The light commercial vehicle is aimed at commercial users
00:16and is available both as a pure electric vehicle and in a plug-in hybrid version.
00:23What's particularly interesting is that the entry-level price of the pure electric version
00:27is around IUR 40,000, while the hybrid version starts at around 28,000 euros.
00:35The BYYDT5 features a single cabin for three people and is available in various body versions.
00:42The refrigerated version measures 6 meters in length, 2.2 meters in width and 3.3 meters in height.
00:49The wheelbase is 3.4 meters.
00:53In other versions, the width and height are reduced by 0.1 meters each.
00:57The unladen weight is 3.3 tons, while the permissible total weight is around 4 tons.
01:06The truck is equipped with 16-inch wheels and drum brakes on the front and rear axles.
01:12Inside, the T5 impresses with its modern technology.
01:16A digital instrument cluster, a central touch display in a floating design
01:20and a rotary gear selector knob to find the cockpit.
01:25Comfort functions such as automatic air conditioning, start button, cruise control
01:30and the D-Link vehicle system are also on board,
01:32as are the electric power steering EPS and an electronic parking brake EPB.
01:36The better-equipped technology line also includes electrically adjustable,
01:43heated exterior mirrors and daytime running lights.
01:47Two drive variants are available.
01:50The all-electric version has an electric motor with a peak output of 150 kilowatts.
01:55The associated lithium-iron phosphate batteries offer a choice of 82, 90, 100, 132 or 151 kilowatts.
02:07This gives the T5 a range of at least 415 kilometers in the CLTC cycle.
02:14The hybrid version combines a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor,
02:19the latter of which also delivers up to 150 kilowatts.
02:24The hybrid has a battery with around 55 kilowatt hours,
02:28which provides a purely electric range of over 150 kilometers.
