00:18Dodge is staying true to its roots and is taking the plunge into the electric future with the 24 series model of the Charger,
00:24without losing the legendary appearance and powerful driving feel that fans of the brand appreciates so much.
00:30With the new phronic chambered exhaust, Dodge is bringing an impressive soundscape to the road, even with an electric drive.
00:39The artificially generated sounds reach up to 126 dB EL, which is just as loud as the infamous Hellcat with its V8.
00:49This is achieved by special speakers that are mounted in exhaust-like chambers and thus create a more authentic, mechanical sound.
00:55However, the system can be muted if required. An advantage that fans of quieter driving will appreciate.
01:04When it launches in 2024, the Dodge Charger will be offered in two electric versions, the Daytona Scat Pack and the Daytona RT.
01:12The latter comes standard with a stage upgrade that gives it a whopping 503hp instead of 462hp.
01:22The Charger Daytona Scat Pack goes even further and offers an impressive 679hp thanks to the stage 2 upgrade.
01:29Both models have all-wheel drive and, as a special highlight, there is a powershot button on the steering wheel.
01:38If you press this button while pressing the pedal hard at the same time, you get an additional 41hp for 15 seconds.

01:47Deutschke provisionally states that the range of the RT model is around 510km, while the Scat Pack has a range of around 418km.
01:57The energy is supplied by a Cobau battery that can be charged with up to 350kW of charging power.

02:09Thanks to recuperation in three stages and four driving modes, auto, eco, sport and wet snow, energy consumption can be optimally controlled.

02:51The Charger is an impressive 5.2m long, 2.1m wide including mirrors and 1.5m high.
02:57The vehicle can be optionally equipped with a panoramic glass roof, while the wheels are available in 18 or 20 inches.

03:14A 12.3-inch touchscreen serves as the central unit, accompanied by either a 10.25-inch display or a 16-inch dashboard for additional information.
03:23The heated steering wheel offers numerous controls and houses the recuperation paddles.
03:34The classic pistol grip shifter can be found on the center console, while high-quality materials ranging from leather combinations to napper leather in red or black are optionally available.
03:43Practically, the trunk offers up to 1,190 liters of storage space, while the front creates an additional 42 liters of space.
03:56In terms of safety, the Dutch Charger also impresses with numerous assistance systems such as forward collision warning with emergency braking function, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, blind spot warning and drowsiness detection.
04:10Optionally, you can add a 360-degree camera system or acoustic parking aids, which make parking even more convenient.
04:22The electric Dodge Charger offers a skillful mix of state-of-the-art technology, impressive performance and the classic style of a muscle car.
