00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the new mid-range Enduro Cove 521 XXGT.
00:09An exciting motorcycle that, with its looks and technology,
00:12is clearly aimed at the travel Enduro scene and clearly borrows from the well-known BMW R300GS.
00:20The striking front end, including the side panels under the fuel tank,
00:24are very reminiscent of the great roll model from Bavaria.
00:27The drivetrain also has a connection to BMW.
00:30The Ryan two-cylinder engine comes from BMW's long-standing Chinese partner Leonson
00:35and is also used in models from the Woj brand, including the technically-related Woj DS265X.
00:42Despite the type designation 625, the actual displacement is only 581 cubic centimeters.
00:50The Covell 625X GT still delivers a respectable 64 horsepower.
00:54That corresponds to around 47 kilowatts at 9,000 revolutions per minute.
01:01The maximum torque is around 57 newton meters and is achieved at around 6,500 revolutions per minute.
01:09With a crankpin offset of 270 degrees and a 6-speed transmission,
01:14the engine characteristics correspond to those known from the competition.
01:17The official top speed is 175 kilometers per hour.
01:23A value that the chassis of the travel Enduro should be able to handle without any problems.
01:28This is ensured by robust steel frame, an aluminum double-sided swing arm,
01:32a central shock absorber and an upside-down telescopic fork.
01:35The wheels are tubeless cross-spoke wheels with gold-colored aluminum rims, completely in GS style.
01:43They are equipped with the standard travel Enduro tire dimensions 11,080-19 at the front and 15,017 at the rear.
01:51The unladen weight is 229 kilograms according to the official registration.
01:55However, it remains unclear whether this weight already includes the three black aluminum boxes,
02:01i.e. side cases and top case as well as protective bars, hand protectors,
02:06engine protector and the additional headlights mounted under the front nose.
02:11This equipment turns the Curve 6 in 25X into a GT,
02:15although a variant without this name suffix is not yet known.
02:18It is not yet known exactly when the Curve 625X GT will be available in stores.
02:26It will probably appear in China first, but in Europe by 2026 at the latest.
02:34In Germany, there are only a few Curve dealers so far,
02:37whereas the sister model Woj DS625X is already available here with importer support,
02:42also with the same engine and overall concept,
02:44and for around 7,000 euros including all additional costs.
02:50As always, you can find the link to read the article in the video description.
