00:00Welcome to the latest video from Tuningblog, where we introduce the exciting new sports
00:14bike from Chinese brand Zs, the 703RR. After years of development of its innovative three-cylinder
00:24engine, it unveiled the prototypes of the 70F Adventure bike and the 70R Sport bike at the
00:30Agma show last year. At the time, technical details were still limited, but the 703F1F is now being
00:38delivered to customers in China and is set to be exported in the coming months. At the same time,
00:44the 703RR has just been homologated, allowing us to take a closer look at the production version
00:50and its key features. The homologation documents show some key differences between the 703R and
00:58the 703F, as well as the original specifications from the Atma launch. Originally, it was stated
01:07that the Adventure bike would produce 100 horsepower at 9,000 revolutions per minute, while the Sport
01:13bike would produce 110 horsepower at 11,000 revolutions per minute. In the production
01:21version of the 703F, however, the peak power was also slightly reduced to 96 horsepower and
01:27the engine speed increased to 10,000 revolutions per minute. For the 703R, the maximum homologate
01:36power was set at 101 horsepower, which shows that the originally specified 110 horsepower may have
01:42been too ambitious. However, it is possible that these figures will change for the export models,
01:50as emission limits vary worldwide. Another interesting detail from the homologation documents is the
01:57certified top speed of the 703R, which is 230 kilometers per hour. This speed puts the 703R on par
02:06with established rivals such as the Honda CBR 650R. In terms of power and performance, the ZTI 703R should
02:16certainly be ahead of the twin-cylinder Yamaha R7 and be able to compete with models such as the Aprilia
02:22660R and the Triumph Detainer 660. The 703R's engine sits in a cast aluminum frame reinforced with twin struts
02:31in front of a swingarm made of the same material. The suspension is provided by Mazoki, who already supply
02:37the components for the 703F. The main dimensions of the frame include a wheelbase of 145 centimeters, which is
02:45the same as the CBR 650R, and a weight of 196 kilograms. The homologation documentation shows two versions of the
02:56bike, which differ only in the specification of the brake calipers, which are apparently components of Chinese
03:01origin. Visually, the bike has evolved slightly since the original version, which was unveiled
03:10at the show last November. The most noticeable change concerns the headlights, which are unusually
03:17positioned on the sides of the fairing rather than at the front. The production model continues to have
03:24the light units mounted below the upper level of the side wings. However, the design is more subtle than on
03:30the concept bike. While the concept bike had four separate lights that protruded well ahead of the leading edge of
03:38the wing, the production version features custom-made light units positioned further back.
03:43There are still lights at the front, including a V-shaped LED strip along the leading edge and additional lights below.
03:53The overall look is sharp, if a little over the top, and the subtle paintwork on the bikes photographed for
04:04homologation appears to match that of the models at the Emma show, albeit without some of the graphics and
04:09with the original bike's red highlights and rims swapped for blue.
04:15The key question that remains for Zs is whether the new three-cylinder bikes are enough to satisfy customer needs.
04:25In China, the company has been criticized for only offering single-cylinder bikes, while in the market,
04:31twin-cylinder motorcycles have become the expected norm.
04:37By skipping the twin cylinders and going straight to the three cylinders, Zontis is trying to maintain its
04:43own identity and offer something its competitors can't match.
04:49However, the lengthy development of the three-cylinder means that there are now an increasing number of
04:54four-cylinder options on the market in the same class.
04:59Not to mention the upcoming three-cylinder CF Moto 675SR, which will be a direct competitor.
05:05All that remains to be seen is whether the Zontis 703RR will reach the European market when it is
05:13officially introduced. However, the technical specifications and the appealing design suggest
05:20an exciting future for this sports bike. Was the information about the Zontis 703RR informative?
