00:12was done with a very small group of engineers.
00:15So less than 6 months to race from concept.

00:20electronic differentials,
00:22off-road modes.
00:24It's really cool to step that formula
00:26from ICE vehicles over to electric trucks.
00:29It translates really well.
00:33Yesterday was the first day I got to drive
00:35the Silver Auto Eve race truck
00:37and it was absolutely amazing.
00:39The vehicle, even though it's big,
00:41it's got so much power it's incredible.
00:45Racing really provides a great playground.
00:48You're truly taking a truck out,
00:50basically running it through a paint shaker
00:52for a few hours straight
00:53and seeing what comes out the other side.
00:55We figure out what works,
00:57what doesn't work,
00:58break some things,
00:59fix some things,
01:00and then truly make a better vehicle.
01:02In a desert race,
01:04we can put more wear and tear and miles
01:06on a vehicle than most people put on a vehicle
01:08in a lifetime.
01:09We just accelerated full throttle at about 30mph
01:12and let up all four tires.
01:14This power is unbelievable.
01:16It doesn't matter going 10 to 20 or 70 to 90.
01:22This thing accelerates instantly
01:24but I have a feeling I've just touched the tip of the iceberg.
01:28The ZR2 lineup is a great demonstration of how racing trickles into our production programs.

01:40are truly stock trucks you can go into the showroom and buy,

01:45change the tires,
