01:00But that's not all. It is also the only mass-produced car with all-wheel drive.
01:06In the variants Charger Daytona Scat Pack with 670 horsepower and Charger Daytona RT with 496 horsepower,
01:14the car combines pure performance with impressive everyday suitability, even in extreme weather conditions.
01:20Extensive winter tests, including in northern Michigan, demonstrate its capabilities on snow and ice.
01:26Dodge CEO Matt McCallie emphasizes the uniqueness of the new Charger,
01:33which will be available not only with various drivetrain variants but also as a two- or four-door.
01:40Regardless of the model, all-wheel drive is always standard,
01:43which makes it particularly attractive to customers in colder regions.
01:47The Charger is designed not only for the road, but also for the racetrack and dragstrip.
01:55Its capabilities range from confident acceleration on dry asphalt to tackling the most challenging winter conditions.
02:02Like the familiar two-door variants, the four-door Charger Daytona models,
02:09which will be launched in the first half of 2025,
02:12and the gasoline-powered Charger six-pack models, which will follow in the second half of the year,
02:17will also have all-wheel drive as standard.
02:19The new Dodge Charger offers several innovative driving modes that prepare it for any weather.
02:30Wet snow is standard on every model and ensures the best possible grip on slippery surfaces
02:35through targeted traction control, electronic stability control, regenerative braking,
02:41and intelligent torque distribution between the front and rear drive units.
02:44The Charger also features a mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle.
02:54While conventional open differentials spin to one side when traction is lost,
02:59this component ensures even power distribution to both rear wheels,
03:03significantly improving stability and traction.
03:07This is a decisive advantage, especially in winter road conditions.
03:11The drift donut mode, which allows the Charger to be set to pure rear-wheel drive,
03:18provides additional driving fun.
03:21This completely deactivates the electronic stability control
03:25and varies the intervention of the traction control,
03:28allowing controlled Drifts and Donuts, both on dry asphalt and on snow.
03:32The entire new Dodge Charger model line,
03:39including the four-door Daytona versions and the gasoline-powered six-pack models,
03:44will be equipped with standard all-wheel drive
03:46and thus offer an exceptional combination of muscle car performance and weather capability.
03:50We at Dodge Engineering make the cars great for the drag strip and for the racetrack.
04:15We also want to bring that high level of expectation to customers that drive in all weather conditions.
04:22So, we're up here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula at the Kew Research Center,
04:27making sure that the new Dodge Charger performs great in snowy conditions.
04:31With all-wheel drive now standard on the Dodge Charger,
04:37it's really an evolution for us in the next step of performance.
04:41It's it solidifies that performance and capability of the car.
04:44Plus, you can go rear-wheel drive and still have all the muscle car fun with it when you want to.
04:51We previously topped out at around 300 horsepower on the outgoing cars with all-drive.
04:56We're now just starting at 420 horses on the six-pack uh,
05:00so we're climbing all the way up to 670 horsepower all with standard all-wheel drive now.
05:06So, it's really the next evolution,
05:08and this really gives a new Dodge Charger customer the ability to have the world's only all-wheel drive muscle car.
05:17On every single Dodge Charger now coming up, we'll have wet and snow mode.
05:21The engineers did a great job of basically modulating track control,
05:26electronic stability control,
05:28and the ratio from front to rear power to maximize basically the car's performance and capability
05:33and in all weather driving conditions.
05:38So, on the new Charger SCAT Pack,
05:40it comes with drift and donut mode.
05:42We're out here in hot, Michigan having fun and still being safe
05:46while testing all the capabilities in the new car,
05:49including the drift and donut mode.
05:51One of the great technologies we put in both the U6-pack and the Daytona
05:56is a mechanical limited S-Lift differential.
06:01This technology the Dodge team provides customers
06:04to make the vehicles perform great in winter conditions.
06:10Muscle cars and rear-wheel drive high horsepower cars
06:13are huge in the warm states and in a huge market there.
06:16This opens up a whole new opportunity for us and our customers
06:19who just want that muscle car but maybe couldn't get something
06:22if they didn't have all-wheel drive.
06:24Just kept a car in the garage.
06:26This really gives the customers an opportunity
06:27to have a muscle car as a daily driver.
06:49It's the Seven meter per hour.
06:50Very good.
06:51I don't know.
06:53If you're a nice man, you get a little bit of a joint,
06:54but a little bit of a light of the Jeep is going to produce an instant.
06:56It's all right.
06:57I'm gonna have to do that.
06:57The design of the Jeep,
06:58it's all right.
06:58You can just keep up on the new car and the new car.
06:59You've got to do that.
07:00This is a little bit of a quiet fit.
07:01You've got to do that.
07:02It's a little bit of a way to Kurt,
07:03and you want to get a little bit of a distance,
07:03It's all right.
07:04Because it will be a little bit of a Arianna.
07:05It's all right.
07:05It's all about the new car.
07:06It's all about the new car.
07:07It's all right.
