00:29We're making caramel and candy apples, yes sir.
00:33All right, now when you make caramel and candy apples,
00:36you have to get that wax off of your apples.
00:39So I got some boiling water here,
00:41and this is kind of a pre-cooked,
00:44so we're gonna put in the apples.
00:47How do you like these apples?
00:51It's into boiling water.
00:53And we're gonna keep it in here
00:54for about 30 seconds or so.
00:57So we'll have to get them out right away
00:59just to get the waxy film off of it.
01:02Get that waxy film off the apples.

01:06Anyway, got these from Stu Leonard's.
01:11Toil and boil and oil in trouble.
01:14I am boiling up some apples.
01:16You don't wanna cook them,
01:17so you wanna get them out after about 30 seconds.
01:19Let's get them out with a slotted spoon.
01:23And we have to let these dry for about,
01:25uh, uh, dry and cool off for about, uh, 30 minutes,
01:29as we'll be getting ready to put everything else together.
01:31So.
01:35All right, now we got the, uh,
01:37we're gonna put in, uh, handles for the apples.
01:40You know, kind of like, uh,
01:42so we can stick them in to get covered.
01:46And what we're gonna do is we're gonna stick it all the way through.

01:51And then we'll cut off at the end here
01:54to make sure that it doesn't stab you.
01:58And we're gonna do this with all the apples.
02:05And then we're gonna dump it in that candy
02:09and dump some in caramel.

02:18So we're gonna take a can of condensed milk,
02:20which is, uh, a 14 ounce can.
02:23We're gonna pour it into our sauce pot.

02:48Get a spoon and spoon out more of this stuff out.
02:54Get one 14 ounce cans of condensed milk.

03:20Okay, then we're going to need a cup of butter, which is actually two sticks.
03:26So let's put the two sticks of butter in.

03:34We have to heat this to a boil.
03:41Okay, then we're going to be putting in two cups of brown sugar.
03:48So let's get the two cups of brown sugar.

05:40And I put a cup of corn syrup and a cup and a half of water.
05:48I've got to continue to stir the caramel because I'm multitasking.
05:53And we're going to also need two cups of white sugar.

07:51so the caramel apples are getting closer and closer to be in the point where you can dip them

08:04okay this is really boiling now and this is just starting its low boil

08:21which is the consistency we need for the candy apple for caramel apples
08:31you know i think this might be done i think it might be ready to dip the apples into caramel
08:37while we have the caramel we have to continue to stir the candy apples actually we have to now once
08:44it reaches the boil do not stir yeah that's right we do not stir now we have to let that temperature
08:49get to like 300 degrees yikes that's hot but the caramel i think we're ready for the caramel so let's get
08:57ready to dip these apples all right now we're going to put in two teaspoons of vanilla extract into our caramel mixture
09:07let's get ready to dip these apples and by the way you want to get nuts let's get nuts i got some nuts i'll also be putting on there
09:28well i've been making the caramel apples spinning them around and you haven't been watching because i

09:41to be eight i was going to try to do the seven six thing i don't know what the fuck that means

13:27days right up until halloween all right after everything's cooled down you want to wrap these up
13:33so you get some wax paper
13:39and you simply put it into the wax paper like that
13:47of course some of this caramel came off
13:49so you just have to try to like spin it around in here
13:56caramel apples are kind of sticky but you just wrap it up and you put it into the uh
14:01little ziploc bendy's out and they give you a delicious snack this halloween so happy halloween
