Der Chery Omoda E5 ist ein vollelektrisches SUV, das mit seinen kompakten Maßen und moderner Technik fĂŒr frischen Wind sorgt. Ladezeiten von nur 35 Minuten (10–80 %) und Akkus von CATL sorgen fĂŒr Alltagstauglichkeit und ZuverlĂ€ssigkeit. Der GepĂ€ckraum bietet 378 bis 1.075 Liter Stauraum, was ihn ideal fĂŒr Familien oder Abenteuer macht.

00:23The Omota E5, also known in Europe as the Omota 5EV,
00:27is the first electric car from the Chinese manufacturer Sherry Automobile to be launched in Germany.
00:35This happened in the first half of 2024,
00:38at the same time as an impressive European offensive in which Sherry introduced three brands.
00:46The Omota E5 is part of this strategy and offers a mix of modern technology
00:50and a clear focus on the needs of young drivers.
00:52Sherry is pursuing a flexible drive strategy in Europe that is geared towards different customer
01:00requirements, similar to the German company BMW.
01:05In Germany, where both electric cars and combustion engines are in demand,
01:10Sherry offers the Omota 5 in both versions.
01:13The petrol version was already available in spring 2024,
01:17while the all-electric version, the Omota 5EV, followed shortly after in the second quarter.
01:24The Omota E5 is a compact ISUV whose dimensions make it suitable for both city driving and longer distances.
01:33With a length of 4.4 meters, a width of 1.8 meters and a height of 1.6 meters,
01:39it has a pleasant size that is not too bulky but still spacious.
01:42The wheelbase is 2.6 meters.
01:47There is also space for luggage.
01:51With the rear seats upright, it can hold 378L and when the rear seats are folded down,
01:57the volume increases to 1075L.
02:01The Omota 5EV comes with an electric motor that produces 205hp and drives the front wheels.
02:07The maximum torque is 350 Nm.
02:13This enables the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in a sporty 7.8 seconds.
02:20The vehicle is available with two battery sizes to meet different needs.
02:26The smaller battery has a capacity of 41 kWh and allows a range of 300 km.
02:31The larger battery has a capacity of 62 kWh and enables a range of up to 450 km.
02:42The battery cells come from the renowned manufacturer KEL.
02:47With fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 35 minutes with a charging
02:52capacity of 110 kW.
02:54A solid value, although there is still room for improvement compared to the competition.
03:01In terms of price, it is speculated that the starting price will be around 37,000 euros.
03:07Given the performance and technology offered, the Omota 5EV is positioning itself as a competitor
03:13to the Volkswagen ID.4 and other models in this class.
