05:29A reading from the second letter of St. Paul to Timothy.
05:47Beloved, I am already being poured out like a libation,
05:51and the time of my departure is at hand.
05:55I have competed well. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.
06:04From now on, the crown of righteousness awaits me,
06:08which the Lord, the just judge, will award to me on that day,
06:14and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearance.
06:20At my first defense, no one appeared on my behalf.
06:24But everyone deserted me.
06:28May it not be held against them.
06:31But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength,
06:35so that through me the proclamation might be completed,
06:39and all the Gentiles might hear it.
06:43And I was rescued from the lion's mouth.
06:46The Lord will rescue me from every evil threat
06:50and will bring me safe to his heavenly kingdom.
06:55To him be glory forever and ever.
06:59Amen.
06:59Amen.
06:59Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
07:19The Lord was reconciled in the word to himself in Christ,
07:43and entrusting to us the message of salvation.
07:57Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
08:05The Lord be with you.
08:12And with your spirit.
08:13A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
08:17Glory to you, O Lord.
08:21Jesus addressed this parable to those who were convinced
08:24of their own righteousness and despised everyone else.
08:28Two people went up to the temple to pray.
08:33One was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
08:37The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself.
08:43O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity,
08:48greedy, dishonest, adulterous, or even like this tax collector.
08:53I fast twice a week, and I pay tithes on my whole income.
09:00But the tax collector stood off at a distance,
09:03and would not even raise his eyes to heaven,
09:06but beat his breast and prayed,
09:09O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.
09:13I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former.
09:19For whoever exalts himself will be humbled,
09:21and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.
09:27The Gospel of the Lord.
09:30Praise to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
09:33Now let us profess our faith with as much volume as we can.
09:36I believe in one God.
09:38I believe in one God.
09:40Mayer of heaven and earth.
09:42Of all things visible and invisible.
09:45I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ.
09:48The only God, Son of God.
09:51Born and the Father before all ages.
09:54God from God, life from life.
09:56True God from true God.
09:59The God not made, but consubstant to the Father.
10:02Through him all things were made.
10:05For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven.
10:10And by the Holy Spirit was incarnate, referred to Mary, and became him.
10:15For our sake he was crucified under conscious heart.
10:19He suffered death and was buried.
10:22And rose again on the third day, in accordance with the Scriptures.
10:26He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
10:31He will come again in glory to judge the living in the air, and his kingdom will have no end.
10:38I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of God.
10:42Who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
10:45Who with the Father and the Son is adorned and glorified.
10:49Who has spoken through the cross.
10:51I believe in one holy Catholic and Catholic Church.
10:56I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
11:00And I look forward to the resurrection of the dead.
11:03And life of the world to come.
11:05Amen.
11:06Through the Church's announcement of the Gospel,
11:09Christ's saving mission will reach to all the ends of the earth.
11:12Let us pray to the Lord.
11:14Lord, hear our prayer.
11:16That our parish may reach out to those on the periphery,
11:19with the charity and compassion of Jesus Christ.
11:23Let us pray to the Lord.
11:24Lord, hear our prayer.
11:27That the outreach to inactive members on Mission Sunday will prove to be most helpful in the days to come for all concerned.
11:35Let us pray to the Lord.
11:37Lord, hear our prayer.
11:39That the Memorial Mass on November 3rd touches the hearts of those who have lost loved ones in the past years.
11:47Let us pray to the Lord.
11:48Lord, hear our prayer.
11:49For our deceased relatives and friends, and all the departed,
11:55that they may be gathered into the eternal joy of their heavenly home.
11:59May they rest in the peace of Christ.
12:02Let us pray to the Lord.
12:03Lord, hear our prayer.
12:05And for all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts.
12:10Let us pray to the Lord.
12:12Lord, hear our prayer.
12:15Almighty God, we thank you for the example of the tax collector.
12:19May we always come as poor beggars into your presence.
12:23You have the power to answer our prayers through Christ our Lord.
12:27Amen.
12:28Amen.
12:28Amen.
12:28O Sanctisima, O Prisima,
12:45O Sanctisima, O Sanctisima,
13:15Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
13:29May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name,
13:35for our good and the love of his holy church.
13:38Look, we pray, O Lord, on the offerings we make to your majesty,
13:41that whatever is done by us in your service may be directed above all to your glory through Christ our Lord.
13:49Amen.
13:50The Lord be with you.
13:51And with your spirit.
13:53Lift up your hearts.
13:54We lift them up to the Lord.
13:55Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
13:57It is right in us.
13:59It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks.
14:05Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
14:09For he is the true and eternal priest, who instituted the pattern of an everlasting sacrifice,
14:15and was the first to offer himself as a saving victim,
14:18commanding us to make this offering as his memorial.
14:20As we eat his flesh that was sacrificed for us, we're made strong.
14:24And as we drink his blood that was poured out for us, we're washed clean.
14:28And so with the angels and archangels, with thrones and dominions,
14:31and with all the hosts and powers of heaven,
14:33we sing the hymn of your glory,
14:35as without end we acclaim.
14:38Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy
15:08Hosanna, Hosanna in the fire, Hosanna, Hosanna in the fire.
15:38Hosanna, Hosanna in the fire.
16:08Hosanna in the fire.
16:10Hosanna in the fire.
16:11Hosanna in the fire.
16:13Hosanna in the fire.
16:14Hosanna in the fire.
16:16Hosanna in the fire.
16:17Hosanna in the fire.
16:18Hosanna in the fire.
16:19Hosanna in the fire.
16:20Hosanna in the fire.
16:21Hosanna in the fire.
16:22Hosanna in the fire.
16:23Hosanna in the fire.
16:24Hosanna in the fire.
16:25Hosanna in the fire.
16:26Hosanna in the fire.
16:27Hosanna in the fire.
16:28In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice.
16:58And what's more, giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
17:03Take this, all of you, drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood,
17:07the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
17:10which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
17:16Do this in memory of me.
17:26The mystery of faith.
17:28Save us, Savior of the world,
17:40For by your cross and resurrection
17:46You have set us free.
17:54Save us, Savior of the world,
18:04For by your cross and resurrection
18:09You have set us free.
18:17Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
18:23we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
18:26giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
18:30Humbly we pray that partake you in the body and blood of Christ we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
18:37Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
18:41together with Leo our Pope, Lewis our Bishop, and all your people.
18:46Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who have died in your mercy.
18:54Welcome them into the light of your face.
18:56Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
19:02with the Blessed Apostles, and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
19:07we may merit to be coerced to eternal life
19:10and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
19:15Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty Father,
19:20in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
19:45Amen.
19:46Amen.
19:47Amen.
19:47Amen.
19:54Look at the crucifix now, remember that's how much God loves you,
19:58and pray from the heart like the tax collector in today's gospel.
20:05Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
20:10Like in him to come, thy will be done.
20:13On earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread,
20:19and forgive us our trespasses, as we live in those who trespass against us.
20:25And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
20:30Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
20:33Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy,
20:36we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
20:39as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
20:44For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever.
20:49Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
20:51Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
20:53Look not on our sins from the faith of your church,
20:56and graciously grant our peace and unity in accordance with your will,
21:01who live and reign forever and ever.
21:03Amen.
21:04Peace of the Lord be with you always.
21:07And with your spirit.
21:08Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
21:11Peace, Lord.
21:11Amen.
21:14Peace, Lord.
21:16Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
21:28Have mercy on us.
21:37Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
21:46Grant us, grant us, grant us.
22:16Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
22:27Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
22:30Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
22:34but only say the world and my soul shall be healed.
22:38May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life.
22:42Amen.
22:42My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
22:48I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
22:52Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
22:56come at least spiritually into my heart,
22:58I embrace you as if you were already there,
23:01and unite myself wholly to you.
23:03Never permit me to be separated from you.
23:07Amen.
23:08Blow your heads and pray in silence.
23:13May your sacraments, O Lord, we pray,
23:16perfect in us what lies within them,
23:18that while we now celebrate in signs,
23:21we may one day possess in truth,
23:23through Christ our Lord.
23:25May the Lord be with you.
23:27And with your spirit.
23:28And may Almighty God bless you.
23:30The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
23:33Amen.
23:34Go in peace, glorifying the Lord with your lives.
23:37Thanks be to God.
23:38Go in peace, glorifying the Lord with your heart.
23:46Amen.
23:47Amen.
23:47Amen.
