00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:18The Lord be with you, and with your spirit.
00:20Dear friends, great to be with you again on this Tuesday morning to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
00:26And as usual, we are praying for you wherever you may be, for your intentions, for those that you care for and love.
00:33But also for the needs of the Church and of the whole world.
00:37We continue to pray for those places around the world in need of peace and reconciliation.
00:44And also we give thanks for signs of the end of violence in some other places.
00:50Dear brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins and so prepare ourselves to celebrate.
00:56The Sacred Mysteries.
01:01Lord Jesus, you came to reconcile us to the Father and to one another.
01:06Lord, have mercy.
01:09You heal the wounds of our sin and division.
01:12Christ, have mercy.
01:15You intercede for us with the Father.
01:18Lord, have mercy.
01:18May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:26Let us pray.
01:29May your grace, O Lord, we pray, at all times go before us and follow after.
01:36And make us always determined to carry out good works.
01:39Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
01:47Amen.
01:51A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Romans.
01:54I am not ashamed of the good news.
01:57It is the power of God, saving all who have faith, Jews first, but Greeks as well.
02:05Since this is what reveals the justice of God to us.
02:09It shows how faith leads to faith.
02:13Or as Scripture says, the upright man finds life through faith.
02:17The anger of God is being revealed from heaven against all the impiety and depravity of men who keep truth imprisoned in their wickedness.
02:29For what can be known about God is perfectly plain to them, since God himself has made it plain.
02:36Ever since God created the world, his everlasting power and deity, however invisible, have been there for the mind to see in the things he has made.
02:47That is why such people are without excuse.
02:50They knew God, and yet refused to honor him as God, or to thank him.
02:56Instead, they made nonsense out of logic, and their empty minds were darkened.
03:01The more they called themselves philosophers, the more stupid they grew.
03:07Until they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for a worthless imitation.
03:11For the image of mortal man, of birds, of quadrupeds, and reptiles.
03:18That is why God left them to their filthy enjoyments and practices with which they dishonor their own bodies.
03:26Since they have given up divine truth for a lie, and have worshipped and served creatures, instead of the Creator, who is blessed forever.
03:35Amen.
03:36The word of the Lord.
03:40The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
03:43The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
03:45The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the firmament shows forth the work of his hands.
03:51The unto day takes up the story, and night unto night makes known the message.
03:57The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
03:59No speech, no word, no voice is heard, yet their span goes forth through all the earth.
04:06Their words to the utmost bounds of the world.
04:09The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
04:12Alleluia, alleluia.
04:14The word of God is living and active.
04:16It probes the thoughts and motives of our hearts.
04:20Alleluia.
04:21The Lord be with you.
04:26A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
04:32Jesus had just finished speaking when a Pharisee invited him to dine at his house.
04:38He went in and sat down at the table.
04:41The Pharisee saw this and was surprised that he had not first washed before the meal.
04:46But the Lord said to him, O you Pharisees, you clean the outside of cup and plate, while
04:53inside yourselves you are filled with extortion and wickedness.
04:58Fools!
05:00Did not he who made the outside make the inside too?
05:04Instead, give alms from what you have, and then indeed everything will be cleaned for you.
05:12The Gospel of the Lord.
05:16The Gospel of the Lord.
05:46Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God,
06:16the Almighty Father.
06:23Accept, O Lord, the prayers of your faithful with the sacrificial offerings,
06:29that through these acts of devotedness, we may pass over to the glory of heaven.
06:34Through Christ our Lord.
06:36Amen.
06:37The Lord be with you, and with your spirit, lift up your hearts, we lift them up to the Lord.
06:42Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
06:45It is right and just.
06:47It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give you thanks, Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God.
06:57For in goodness you created man, and when he was justly condemned, in mercy you redeemed him, through Christ our Lord.
07:06Through him, the angels praise your majesty, dominions adore, and powers tremble before you.
07:13Heaven and the virtues of heaven and the blessed seraphim worship together with exaltation.
07:18May our voices, we pray, join with theirs, in humble praise, as we acclaim.
07:25Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:32Hosanna in the highest.
07:34Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
07:37Hosanna in the highest.
07:38You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
07:45Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your spirit upon them like the doofo,
07:51so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
07:56At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread,
08:02and giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:06Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
08:36In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice,
08:40and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:44Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood,
08:49the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
08:53which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
08:58Do this in memory of me.
09:06The mystery of faith.
09:26We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:31Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
09:36we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
09:40giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
09:46Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
09:50we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
09:54Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world,
09:57and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo our Pope and Charles our Bishop and all the clergy.
10:05Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:10and all who have died in your mercy, welcome them into the light of your face.
10:14Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:20with blessed Joseph, her spouse,
10:23with the blessed apostles and all the saints,
10:25who have pleased you throughout the ages,
10:27we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life,
10:31and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
10:34Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father,
10:41in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
10:44all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
10:48Amen.
10:50At the Savior's command and form by divine teaching,
10:54we dare to say,
10:55Our Father, who art in heaven,
10:58hallowed be thy name.
11:00Thy kingdom come,
11:01thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11:05Give us this day our daily bread,
11:07and forgive us our trespasses,
11:10as we forgive those who trespass against us.
11:13And lead us not into temptation,
11:16but deliver us from evil.
11:18Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
11:19from every evil,
11:20graciously grant peace in our days,
11:23that by the help of your mercy,
11:25we may be always free from sin
11:26and safe from all distress,
11:29as we await the blessed hope
11:30and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
11:36Lord Jesus Christ,
11:38who said to your apostles,
11:39Peace I leave you,
11:40my peace I give you,
11:42look not on our sins,
11:43but on the faith of your church,
11:45and graciously grant her peace
11:47and unity in accordance with your will,
11:50who live and reign forever and ever.
11:53The peace of the Lord be with you always.
11:56Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
11:59Peace be with you.
12:00Lamb of God,
12:22you take away the sins of the world,
12:24have mercy on us.
12:26Lamb of God,
12:27you take away the sins of the world,
12:29have mercy on us.
12:31Lamb of God,
12:32you take away the sins of the world,
12:34grant us peace.
12:35Behold the Lamb of God,
12:45behold the Lamb of God,
12:46behold him who takes away the sins of the world,
12:49blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
12:52Lord,
12:53I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
12:57but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
13:00My Jesus,
13:02I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:06I love you above all things,
13:07and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:11Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
13:14come at least spiritually into my heart.
13:17I embrace you as if you were already there,
13:19and unite myself wholly to you.
13:22Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:25Amen.
13:26Let us pray.
13:30We entreat your majesty most humbly,
13:32O Lord,
13:33that as you feed us with the nourishment which comes
13:36from the most holy body and blood of your Son,
13:40so you may make us sharers of his divine nature,
13:43who lives and reigns forever and ever.
13:47Amen.
13:48Friends,
13:49thank you for your prayerful company once more.
