Aligarh, UP — Tension erupted in Aligarh’s Lodha area after miscreants wrote “I Love Muhammad” on the walls of a Shiva temple. Hindu organizations protested, demanding strict action against those responsible.
Senior Superintendent of Police inspected religious sites in Bulakgarhi and Bhagwanpur villages after reports of similar writings on four religious places. The slogans were removed, and police held talks with locals to maintain peace.
Officials said an old village dispute has also come to light. A case has been registered, and orders have been issued for strict action against the culprits. The situation remains under control.
