00:09First up in Preston, a play called Short Shots Shocks is on at Preston Playhouse between Wednesday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 25th.
00:19Presented by the Hall Players, Nightmares Anonymous, the self-help group of your dreams, bring you four darkly comic tales of mystery, murder and the supernatural.
00:31The four tales are called Cross Stitcher, The Last Laugh, Uneasy Listening and Meet Free.
00:37The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets start from £12.
00:41In Chorley, the comedian Tom Horton brings his latest stand-up show, Deep, to Chorley Theatre on Wednesday, October 22nd.

01:07The very next night, another comedian heads to Chorley.
01:12Matt Richardson, who you may also recognise as a TV presenter and Danzig on Ice contestant,
01:18brings his new show, Brash, to Chorley Theatre on Thursday, October 23rd.
01:24During the show, Matt explores how attempting to navigate a world of mates' kids, mortgages and village life
01:30is proving a challenge for the guy who can't resist causing a scene.

01:38Over on the Fowled Coast, The Wicked Wizard of Oz is on at the Blackpool Winter Gardens Opera House
01:44between Saturday, October 25th and Saturday, November 1st.
01:48Presented by the world's biggest productions, this is a brand new, breathtaking, cirque staging
01:55of the beloved musical, The Wicked Wizard of Oz.
01:58Stars of the Winter Gardens' upcoming Elf the Musical, Jordan Conway and Kelly Van Nackie,
02:04take to the stage in this production as the Scarecrow and Dorothy, respectively.
02:08Complete with a cowardly lion who is afraid to walk the high wire and a giant 10-foot Tin Man Transformer,
02:16they search for The Wicked Wizard, played by the wacky Kev Orkean, who runs the Emerald Circus.
02:22Tickets range from £20.75 to £54.20.
02:28Finally, in St Anne's, Fowled Fest is on for the first time on Saturday, October 25th,
02:34taking place on the newly redeveloped St Anne's Square from 12 noon to 5pm.
02:40The free public event promises an afternoon of family fun, live entertainment and local flavour.
02:46Visitors can look forward to artists and market stalls packed with Lancashire's finest produce,
02:51crafts and gifts, alongside irresistible street food celebrating the county's culinary talent.
02:58Entertainment will then be provided by live music, street performers, storytellers and traditional games.
03:04Whilst interactive craft workshops and heritage trails bring Fowled's history and traditions to life.
