Six of the most interesting planning applications submitted in Preston last week

00:00Hi, this is the Lancashire Post. 22 new planning applications were submitted to Preston City Council last week
00:06and I'm going to talk you through the six most interesting.
00:10Number one, an application to convert the windmill on Craggs Row into a 12-bed HMO has been submitted.
00:16Two, an application has gone in for a new Greggs at Crean's Retail Park.
00:20Three, more plans have been submitted for the old Methodist Chapel on Chapel Lane, which is being converted into a home.
00:26Four, this former HGV storage lot on Deep Down Mill Street is being demolished to make way for a new sports facility and community centre.
00:34Five, the listed Alexandra pavilions are getting new windows and doors.
00:38And six, the Town Hall hopes to display a white ribbon flag on White Ribbon Day,
00:43an annual occasion where men show their year-long commitment to ending violence against women and girls.
