00:48How are you feeling about AEW WrestleDream 2025, Sam?
00:51It's snuck up on one, it's really snuck up on one, it's just sort of going like ba ba
00:56and it's here, so I'm nervously apprehensively excited about it, I think that the card does
01:03feel a little bit kind of just in places, but at the same time when you do it with the
01:09level of talent they've got, you know it's going to be gold regardless.
01:11That's it, you're going to get a lovely bowl of Corn Flakes.
01:14At least in ring there's going to be a fantastic bowl of Corn Flakes that really take the mood

01:34Right then first up we are going for the Tornado Trios match between the Hurt Syndicate
01:39and the Demand.

01:41Who are you going for Sam?

01:44Well look, the Demand got the pin last night.
01:47I know it's the first pinfall loss in tag action for the Hurt Syndicate.
01:52This is looking good for the pay-per-view.
01:54But I think with the rules being as laxist they're going to be given that this is a six-man
01:58tornado match.
01:59It leaves the door open for plenty of shenanigans.
02:02Syndicate are going to look strong in it for sure.
02:05I think they're going to want to prove a point against the smaller unit and I think that
02:08the Demand are going to do every underhanded, filthy, dirty, sweaty, bald thing that they
02:15can possibly do.
02:16And I think that we might even see this fabled Syndicate new member potentially appear.

02:25If that happens then my chances are scoffered.
02:26But if that doesn't happen then I think that it's going to be the Demand.

02:32Your chances may drastic go down.
02:33So I was thinking because bald but then I thought well there's bald in both teams.

02:38Who am I going to go for?
02:39And whilst like in my heart I would love for it to be the Demand because I think I said
02:43it last time.
02:44I'd love for them to win.
02:45And they did win last time.
02:46That's brilliant news.
02:47But maybe to then propel them into at least the sort of trios title picture so they could
02:52pick them up from the ops.
02:53But I'm going with wrestling booking in terms of the Demand won at All Out and then the
03:00Hurt Syndicate won a street fight.
03:02And then the Demand won last night.
03:05So then I'm going to go for the Hurt Syndicate to win on the night.
03:10But a Tornado six man tag is basically just a street fight again.
03:15And they've already won it.
03:16You're not wrong.
03:17So let's win it again.

03:22Next up we've got Jamie Hayter taking on Tecla.
03:24Who you got and why?
03:26I am scared of spiders Sam.

03:29I absolutely hate them.
03:30And that's why I've gone for Tecla.

03:35If I went against Jamie Hayter I am afraid what Tecla would do.
03:38No I think Tecla, I think with the way that the whole Chris Statlander at the moment,
03:45AW Women's Champion, obviously we're going to get to the match that she's having later.
03:49And between two, I mean that's both of the women in that match.
03:52Very beloved amongst the AEW crowd.
03:55And I think it would be the same as well if Jamie Hayter won and went on Jamie Hayter and Chris Statlander.
04:00But I think maybe Chris' next opponent, and I'm not sure if this is where Tecla is going to necessarily go if she wins this.
04:09But I think Tecla would make a great opponent for Chris Statlander.
04:13A full cemented heel.

04:19No, but I think sort of how Tecla came in and she took out Jamie Hayter,
04:24sort of like I feel like it dictates that maybe Jamie should get the win against her to sort of get the revenge.
04:31Get the revenge back in there.
04:32But I think there's something a little bit more tantalizing in Tecla winning.
04:35We also have blood and guts coming up in November and we know it's between these two women scenes with Jamie Hayter on one side,
04:42the triangle of madness on the other and i think the triangle of madness or tecla sorry at least
04:48wins this and goes into that match looking strong as out this is one of the matches where i was like
04:54oh it's just sort of half of the match of the main event so it's half a match so we've got two halves
05:02of the whole on the night but at the same time i i think that really when you look at it who needs
05:08the win more yes exactly too is it going to hurt jamie to lose to tecla i'd argue no because she's
05:15a very dominant opponent to overcome so she's able uh if she if she's overcome by tecla if tecla wins
05:21then i just feel that like it feels right she's on this kind of monumental tear yeah she's really
05:27building uh and i think that it's not really going to harm the hater in the long term i think that
05:33really when you look at it as well last night she was saying like you know i attacked you earlier
05:37in the air it was a wrong place wrong time situation for you and now we're back here
05:41and look where you are again so it's a case of i'm just gonna deal with you so i think building
05:46it's gonna just like a bug like you would with the spider yeah oh wow yeah just straight on fair
05:54enough yeah music hits and then you just don't see it and then you hear the ceiling of the roof of the
05:59arena starts to rumble she just lifts it up she's like uh puts it back down oh what a wrestle dream
06:07what are in for everybody next up we have the aew world tag team title match between a brodido the
06:14champions defending against kazuchika okada and kunosuke tikeshta who are you going for sam and why
06:22end of the line i think this is it for brodido oh no uh he's just won the iwgp title uh-huh he's a g1
06:33winner yep an aw tag title would go nicely alongside those things wouldn't it and i don't think he's
06:40gonna really be able to lose considering that he's the iwgp heavyweight champion or at least i mean okada
06:46could take the pin right right right yeah okada could take the pin right i don't see okada taking
06:53the pin wow i don't see tikeshta taking the pin i see this being a hard-hitting affair but i think that
06:58this is unfortunately the end of the life you crazy boy i think it's done i think we are about
07:04to get this duo holding the belt and can they possibly coexist that's the thing right i i have
07:11been umming and ahhing about this one and i'm going for brodido to retain the championships because of
07:17this dissension between kazuchika okada and tikeshta tikeshta's the big old iwgp champion now
07:24okada's getting really jealous about these things and i used to be that i used to be that right there
07:30and i think rather than using the aw tag titles as a crutch just to further push them apart please
07:38we've done this it's the biggest trope in wrestling or one of the biggest tropes in wrestling at least
07:42when it comes to tag teams and championships i'd rather have brodido who are so over with the crowd
07:48give them a big win like this i think okada will probably be the one to take the pinfall um and
07:55just who bandido for yes yeah i'm gonna say bandido no i'm gonna say brodie brodie no i'm gonna physically
08:03yeah both of them yeah both of them on top of a pile oh yeah a big old dog pile but i i just love
08:10brodido so much and i think the crowd do aw do and i think they'll want to push them for a little bit
08:15longer and you just let's go for it because we know the whole tearing apart between these two is
08:20coming in kazuchika okada and tikeshta so why not just like why not let's not have the titles are you
08:27allergic to having a fun time no i love a fun time that's why i want brodido to win and he's like well
08:32i used to be just like you kid you could if you keep saying your prayers and doing your vitamins and
08:36stuff uh you could be just like me and then he makes tikeshta change his gear and his hair oh he gives
08:43him the exact same hair that he has and the exact same gear that he has no and then he starts
08:47insisting that they wrestle with the same moveset unless there's balloons i don't care so next up
08:55we've got kyle fletcher defending the tnt championship against marky marky marky marky briscoe who you got
09:02on one oh i go for kyle fletcher i don't think his time is up just yet with that championship i was
09:08thinking about this as well like and i think we mentioned this last time too about kyle fletcher
09:13uh and mark briscoe like the matches that they have together in singles competition are phenomenal
09:20and i'm genuinely very very excited about this and i just don't think it's fletcher's time obviously we've
09:26just seen him in the aw title picture yeah he didn't quite do it he's a credible contender but yes
09:32credible from a storyline or positional point of view really right now to me but give him a year or
09:38two he's your world champion and that's it and i think maybe taking the belt off him for then him to
09:44sort of float about that sort of picture it needs to be that period of time where he's moving up through
09:50that class yes yeah for sure but i just don't think it's that time yet i don't think mark briscoe
09:55necessarily really um i don't think it really hurts him too much if he gets a loss again to kyle fletcher
10:01he's a exactly he's a legend and i think it's just like further cements kyle as someone who is
10:07going to be a huge star within aew um in the future so i'm going for big old fletch boy who
10:13you go for i just think he's younger he's hungrier he's on the run of his life and he's just getting
10:18started versus somebody who obviously still puts on banger matches all-time legend but seems to be
10:24very much in a foot off the gas kind of phase of the career that it's not quite as intense as his prior
10:31runs have been in the past i feel like this is more of a statement victory here for fletcher to
10:37take uh a hell of a match but i think it's it's going to be a statement victory for him to just have
10:41another person he has defeated in this period right now before we see him start to move on toward
10:48actually credibly going for that world title nice yeah next up we've got a tag team match where the
10:54winners receive five hundred thousand dollars in cash because they absolutely need that money we've
11:02got jurassic he's got to get rid of it he's got to get rid of it it's jurassic express in the young
11:07books everybody who are you going for to win the kahooly mooly 500 grand on the line
11:15an all-time favorite tag team yep versus stinky poor bucks they are poor right now yeah they're crap
11:21you broke bombs don't deserve any money that's true that's what i'm learning that's what i'm
11:25learning so i'm guessing you're going for jurassic i'm going for jurassic express i think that like
11:30essentially when you look at it the chemistry between these two units is going to be mental
11:35the match is going to be really fun it's going to be full of memorable moments it's the entire crowd
11:39is going to be on site throughout the entire thing yep uh i think we get some very near falls for
11:43the books but i don't want them getting money right now i'm enjoying them kind of having to slum it
11:47i think a thousand percent agree yeah i absolutely love this side of the books i think it's so funny
11:52when they come out and the production value for them is not very good but it's very good for us
11:57watching because it's funny and i think i think they just beat the young bucks and then luchasaurus
12:02starts swinging them by their ankles and then he just throws them into the surface of the sun which
12:06could happen because he's a hell of a way to get written off tv it is so we've got bug squashing and
12:10dinosaurs yeah so roof comes off thrown into the sun i love it and we're just getting jack
12:16pairing back to being good 500 grand luchasaurus can go and like buy the bones of one of his
12:21relatives from like a museum or something oh yeah yeah like get my uncle craig down from display please
12:33next up chris statlander defends the aew women's championship against the woman she beat for it
12:38timeless timeless timeless timeless tony stall oh why andrew i'll tell you who i got so look at me
12:47tony stall look at me look at me yeah boop there we go we got it for chris statlander because she's
12:54just won the championship she's just won the championship and to really solidify and cement
12:59her as the aw women's world champion what better way to do it than to definitively one-on-one beat
13:07timeless tony storm in the middle of the ring one two three in what is no doubt going to be an
13:13absolute banger i'm so excited for this match and the fact like in the promos and stuff they've been
13:19saying we've never really been sort of one-on-one against each other before and it's that blows my
13:25mind because them two together are going to create absolute magic but i think it's just it's chris time
13:31it's like chris statlander's time this is it i think the the only the only extra thing to add to it
13:35is that mercedes-mode comes afterwards and goes i want a shot right now and then statlander just like
13:40pile drives her to the floor you do like a piley d you yeah oh yeah no i i think it's it's as you
13:45said like statlander has just won it and won it in quite shocking fashion i think having a statement
13:51win a definitive win a drawn-out win where clearly she has got the better of tony storm one freeze tony up
13:58to move on to whatever's next and sort of in and out of that main title picture but also it allows
14:05statlander to look even stronger and i think we're going to need that moving forward because i don't
14:09want statlander's reign to be very much like you know full of doubt and oh can she definitely get
14:13this done because it it works but i think if the whole reign's reliant on that then i think it's
14:19going to kind of spot her a bit so having these first few stumbling blocks where she's just eking
14:23out the win then i think we have statlander absolutely going with her oh yeah and next up in
14:29the aew men's world title match we've got hangman adam page the champion defending against samoe joey
14:36who are you going for sammy whammy i'm so sorry now do i believe the samoa joe could walk up to adam
14:43page yeah grab both of his arms yeah tear them off yeah like like he's ripping a a phone book in half
14:49like it's nothing oh yeah yeah and then beat hangman page to death with his own limbs i mean yeah of course
14:55he scientifically absolutely do i believe it's going to happen no i think that the story heading
15:03into this one feels like it's really more about paige trying to overcome the fact that he hasn't
15:07defeated joe yet not so much joe getting the title so i think that having that sort of hanging over it
15:14and that being the main thread leading into it it's going to be hangman page once again sort of doing
15:19something he hasn't been able to do yeah and oh my god what can't this man do like what
15:25as you sort of said at the start of the video sometimes it feels like these things and and it
15:29often does in wrestling and with the wwe shows as well it often feels like things kind of just get
15:33fast-tracked to these shows just so they've got something this however whilst like the build has been
15:40you pushed the title you tried to pass me my title but i dropped it and then this whole thing is
15:46like just sort of escalated sometimes it doesn't need to be a long convoluted story at all sometimes
15:51it can just be something as simple as this but like the way these two have built this with the
15:56promos they've had back and forth has been nothing short of phenomenal they are like two absolute
16:03professionals at their craft and to finally see these two just absolutely leather each other and see
16:11hangman get that win as well i think he's going to be a lovely lovely time indeed i think yeah exactly like
16:16sometimes i just love the fact that they've sort of created something really special out of not much
16:23at all and that's just a testament to how good both of these guys are and i can't wait to see
16:27this match go down but it's got to be it's got to be big hangers it's got to be it's got to be
16:33hack and finally in an i quit match we've got darby allen taking on my daddy and yours john moxley
16:42who you got and why he's not my daddy because i tell you something sam and i'm a daft boy right for
16:49doing it i bet against john moxley last time yeah and i think i've bet against him a few times in the
16:55past as well and it's gone right against me yeah and you've looked at me in these predictions and gone
17:00you're a fool you're a fool and then out he walks with the briefcase i sure did but this time and i
17:08said this last time surely surely it has to be darby allen to finally get and i said again i said this
17:16last time to finally get the win and put a big old stamp on this feud and be like ta-ta darby and john
17:23let's go on to something new i think darby the way this has been built as well has been brilliant
17:28and sort of the whole segments that we had with the sort of talking between the glass on collision
17:34and stuff like that and darby getting absolutely battered but still sort of traipsing through and
17:39off to try and get moxley um i can't see either of these guys saying i quit is the issue that's like
17:46their whole mo is they just keep going no matter what it could end in a draw no it can't it can't no
17:52don't put this doubt in my mind what if the referee just gets so sick of it he's like i quit
17:58and then we'll never know and then they kiss in the ring oh i'm no i i'm going for it i'm saying
18:04darby allen finally gets the win here push him on to something new who are you going for so john moxley
18:11is going to come out on the night and darby allen's already going to be there yep um he's going to be
18:15stood there and out comes john moxley and he's got this like wet suit with him oh and it's just like a
18:20wetsuit looks like it's about darby's size uh and and then basically gets in the ring grabs him by
18:24the ankles and starts just slamming him around like he's just like a baseball bat oh my god so
18:28darby's just mush by this point and then he puts the wetsuit on him but it's revealed the wetsuit's
18:33full of hot sauce lemon juice glass shards and and sea salt very cool and then he just sort of like
18:40just keeps throwing him around and he keeps falling on it and it's just stabbing him loads
18:44um and essentially eventually uh mox just just beats him so bad that he has to quit wow yeah
18:51wow and then mox just walks out of there going told you do you know what i think is not too far
18:56fetched and and bear with me here i think somehow darby allen might successfully set john moxley on
19:04fire in this match it's a bit lighter fluid on the back i mean he's been carrying around that
19:09like look he can he can very easily successfully set fire to anybody at once i mean true it's about
19:14safely setting somebody on fire that's the issue i think he could do that i think he could do that
19:19so you're going for john then i'm gonna go for big mox oh maybe it will go against me and me wrong and
19:24when i went against him he still won it's got to be moxley and darby allen should basically be just
19:29folded into a pretzel by the end of it or he can be turned into the new briefcase just walking around
19:35with with darby what we put it in it wheelie the title oh yeah not just get that back off hangman
19:41okay put it back in oh let's go what a lovely time well let me tell you everybody after that display
