00:00This new board game is hard.
00:01What is the game?
00:02You have to match the 5-hour energy holiday flavor with their holiday.
00:06You're an idiot.
00:08Pumpkin Spice, Halloween.
00:10Cranberry Lime, Thanksgiving.
00:12Gingerbread Sap, Christmas.
00:14Are you a wizard?
00:23It's National Delivery Driver Week.
00:25And what better way to honor them than by talking about their replacements.
00:30Delivery robots are getting more and more common, especially in big cities.
00:34We're talking about the little ones that drive around, mainly with your food and stuff.
00:38But delivery drones are becoming a thing, too, now.
00:41A poll found that now 1 in 11 Americans have seen a delivery robot in the wild.
00:46It's a lot higher, though, in bigger cities.
00:49Yeah.
00:50So how do we feel about it?
00:5140% of us think delivery bots are a good thing.
00:5435% hate those little bots.
00:57And 25%, they don't care either way.
01:00Of course, young people are more likely to think they're a good thing.
01:04Old people are terrified by the little bots.
01:06Right.
01:07Technology!
01:08To me, I think it's all fun and games until there's a thousand of these on the sidewalks and everything.
01:14It's fine right now because, like, one person does it.
01:18There's one robot.
01:19Wait until every place has one.
01:23And we can't go inside of a place anymore because if you go inside, you get shot.
01:27And we all have to order our stuff.
01:30Yep.
01:31You know?
01:32That's the nightmare that I see.
01:34Now, that said.
01:35I dream about that one.
01:36Most people right now would still rather get their food delivered by an actual person.
01:4161% say they'd prefer a human still to deliver.
01:4634% don't care.
01:47And 5% would rather see a delivery bot.
01:51So, good news, DoorDashers.
01:53AI is not replacing you anytime soon.
01:55Yes, it is.
01:57Hopefully not.
01:58You don't have to tip a bot.
01:59We need jobs.
02:00No.
02:01You don't have to tip a bot.
02:02I love a bot.
02:03Or will it still ask you to tip?
02:05I hope not.
02:06Please pay for my oil.
02:09Like, no.
02:11As long as I don't, if the bot gets to the point where it takes your food out and puts
02:16it on your porch and then drives away.
02:19I don't want to have to even get out and open up and put a code in.
02:22You're such a lazy baby.
02:24I don't want to do it.
02:25You can't even just get food from a robot?
02:27Robots?
02:28Usually I'm in my underwear and I just open the door a little bit and grab the food and
02:31then get it inside, close the door real fast.
02:33If I got to go out and engage with a robot, that's not my favorite thing in the world.
02:38That's all.
02:39You just have to punch in your code.
02:40I don't like that.
02:41Or let it scan your phone to make sure it's you.
02:43Here's your phone.
02:44Put it down.
02:45I left it on the porch for you, lazy baby.
02:49That's your dream.
02:50Thank you, bot.
02:52Yeah.
02:53In fact, I want a bot that goes and gets the food from the front porch.
02:56That'd be great.
02:57Lazy bot.
02:58Go get mine.
02:59Oh my God.
03:00Lazy bot.
03:01Can't even do that.
03:02That's what they're, that's what they're supposed to do for us.
03:05You will live in a world full of bots.
03:06I love it.
03:07You'll have a blow bot, a food bot, a getting bot.
03:11I love it.
03:12Getting bot.
03:13Go get me stuff.
03:14I love getting bot.
03:16And all Dave will have is a wrinkle free shirt.
03:18That's it.
03:19He's got the blow.
03:20Yeah.
03:21He's got a blow bot.
03:22Different kind of blow bot.
03:23But it's different.
03:24It's blowing the wrinkles right out of my shirt.
03:26Look at how amazing I look like an Australian newscaster.
03:30It's weird.
03:31It's weird.
03:32It's gonna be weird.
03:33It's gonna be weird.
03:34We all have our priorities.
03:36Getting bot 2000, go get me a pop.
03:41I love getting bot.
03:42Blow bot.
03:43Blow that shirt.
03:44Blow that shirt.
03:45Blow the wrinkles right out of it.
03:47Well, you know, his phone's gonna go off every five seconds because he already has something
03:52is giving him warnings.
03:53His fridge.
03:54His fridge yesterday was sending him warnings that it had been open for 10 minutes.
03:59Why did you do this?
04:00It's like, warning.
04:01Warning.
04:02Your fridge is open.
04:03Dave's like, it's been 10 minutes.
04:04Like Dave's.
04:06This isn't helping.
04:07I know.
04:08You don't need your refrigerator contacting you.
04:10Someone close the damn fridge door.
04:11Yeah.
04:12Oh no.
04:13Yes.
04:14Does it beep?
04:15Yeah.
04:16It beeps in the house, but no one cares.
04:17No one cares.
04:18They don't care.
04:19It beeps all over my house.
04:20They don't care.
04:21Oh my God.
04:22Your refrigerator is bothering you while you're trying to work.
04:24Yeah.
04:25Nope.
04:26This is adding stress.
04:27It definitely does.
04:28Oh, it'll text me that no one changed the lint filter and the dryer and they start
04:31drying.
04:32Oh my God.
04:33The house is ready to burn down any minute.
04:34Do all your appliances talk to you?
04:35A lot of them do.
04:36A lot of them do.
04:37Yeah.
04:38Oh boy.
04:39It's too much control.
04:40You need to let go.
04:41I know.
04:42I can't.
04:43Yeah.
04:44It'll be all right.
04:45Yeah, you're right.
04:46He does.
04:47The control thing.
04:48That's what it is.
04:49Your fridge is texting you during the show.
04:50You've never heard of that.
04:51I was doing it all day yesterday.
04:53It was doing it all day yesterday.
04:54Dave finally cracked and it was like during a break.
04:57He's like, ah.
04:58I'm like, what?
04:59Oh my God.
05:00He's like, my fridge.
05:01No, someone has left the door open for 10 whole minutes.
05:04That's why you're dreaming about garage doors on the highway and everything.
05:08That's what it is.
05:09Because his garage door is probably like, I see someone in the garage.
05:12I see someone.
05:13I'm still open.
05:14See, look, finally at 9.39 yesterday, it texted me, doors finally closed.
05:18Yeah.
05:19Oh my gosh.
05:20That was real.
05:21That's a real life thing.
05:22Door open.
05:23Door open.
05:24Door open.
05:25It's nice that we could just be here at work and we don't have to worry about our refrigerator
05:29door.
05:30Nope.
05:31If it's open and our clothes.
05:32Yeah, my dryer is just sitting in the basement.
05:33Being a dryer.
05:34Just being a dryer.
05:35It's not your friend?
05:36It's not your friend?
05:37It's not your friend?
05:38It's not your friend?
05:39There's probably clothes from last night and they're all dry.
05:41And I'll get them when I get home.
05:43Just doing dryer stuff.
05:44I can't imagine if it was like, your clothes are still in the dryer.
05:47Your clothes are still in the dryer.
05:48Get your clothes.
05:49God damn it, Jesse.
05:50Go get it.
05:51That's it.
05:52That is Dave's world.
05:54Oh my God.
05:55That's Dave's world.
05:56Okay.
05:57Maybe I'm too connected.
05:58You're too connected.
05:59I knew he was when his toothbrush was telling him he was doing a great job on his phone.
06:03And he was excited about it.
06:04He was.
06:05That's positive reinforcement.
06:06What's wrong with that?
06:07Well, it started something.
06:08It started something bad.
06:10It started now.
06:11Everything's talking to Dave at all times.
06:14And he doesn't live with people that take life as seriously as Dave.
06:19They're like the rest of us.
06:20They don't care.
06:21They don't.
06:22They don't care.
06:24Like Dave would want an app.
06:26That's like cupboard is open.
06:28There's a cupboard is open.
06:31A knife is in the forks.
