Karen and Jerry are each tropical storms in the Atlantic that forecasters say won't have any effects on the U.S., but hurricane season isn't over yet.
Transcript
00:00All right, let's take into the tropics, because a reminder, it's still hurricane season.
00:03So we have Priscilla and Raymond in the East Pacific, and Jerry and Karen in the Atlantic.
00:08Karen is a subtropical storm. Tiny little swirl there. It's not very impressive, staying way far from land.
00:15A full cast of characters, though the good news in the Atlantic, Jerry, Karen, none of this is going to impact the U.S.
00:21And really, at this point, we're not looking at any more land impacts.
00:24Yeah, we're hoping to continue that theme here for the next few weeks.
00:29If we can continue this for another month and a half, we'd be through hurricane season.
00:32We do have a ways to go, though. Two tropical waves.
00:35The first one will pull north, but the second one is one that we need to keep an eye on later next week.
00:39Yeah, it's that southern track that means the potential for more U.S. impacts,
00:43but certainly check back as we get a little bit closer there.
