00:06a flash flood that has blocked this road. Thankfully this is a dead end here but all this water is
00:11heading into Cuba, Missouri right now where a flash flood warning is in effect for another two and a half
00:17hours. There are some road closures as well across town but this has definitely grown up scale. We had isolated
00:23super cells. They have congealed into a blob, a mesoscale convective system and they are dumping one to two inch
00:29per hour.
00:30Rates right now we've had about five to six inches maximum around this area especially just to the northeast of
00:36Cuba, Missouri and flash flooding is ongoing right now at least for the next couple of hours and you can
00:42see this road right here is blocked. This is a fast moving flow. It only takes about six inches of
00:49moving water to float a vehicle out here and this is much deeper than that but now we are pivoting
00:54to flash flood mode this evening and overnight in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Very heavy
00:59heavy rainfall coming in here. Flash flood threat will continue through the overnight hours.
