00:00So it comes out yesterday that LeBron James is out for three or four weeks minimum.
00:05We'll miss the start of this NBA season because he has sciatica.
00:10Sciatica is an old person's disease, which it's like pain that radiates from your lower back,
00:16usually down one of your legs.
00:17That's the stereotypical sciatica.
00:20And normally you hear like your grandfather complain about back pain, oh my God,
00:24and it goes down the leg and it's not fun, right?
00:26It's very rare for a well-conditioned athlete in his prime or even just past his prime to have sciatica.
00:33Unless you're like, I suppose, like one of these guys that's like a heavy weightlifter
00:37and you're using your lower back muscles a lot, that kind of thing.
00:41And I'm calling BS on it.
00:43Why?
00:43Because I just saw him dancing last week and that's not to do with sciatica, right?
00:49I hate to be that guy, but this seems to be the current norm for LeBron
00:55where he's not ready to, you know, either going into like an all-star break or to start a season
01:01or doing a quote-unquote meaningless part of the season and disappears.
01:07Now, I want to be very careful and clear how I say this because I don't know what he's doing or not doing.
01:12Would you be surprised at all if we find out that LeBron is on vacation,
01:18oh, I don't know, in Europe over the course of the next week or two or three to four weeks
01:24while he's not playing basketball in the NBA?
01:27Would you be further surprised that when he comes back from that European vacation,
01:32if he suddenly is able to run and play basketball like a kid half his age?
01:37Would that surprise anybody out there?
01:40Of course not.
01:40It's LeBron James.
01:41Of course not.
01:42Right.
01:43So you're going down the road that I'm considering that perhaps it's not sciatica,
01:49and he has lied about injuries before.
01:52Remember when he claimed that he wouldn't have been able to play in game six last year in the playoffs
01:56had they not been eliminated because all of a sudden he had some type of MCL sprain?
02:01Yeah.
02:01And literally the next day he was dancing, right?
02:05Yeah.
02:06And doing like the move with your knees where you can't do that if you have sprained MCL?
02:10Yeah, like a version of the butterfly it felt like, yeah.
02:14So, and look, I get it.
02:17And if he is doing what I think he might be doing in Europe to guarantee that he's able
02:22to go play 65 games this year.
02:25And possibly make a playoff run.
02:26And maybe make the playoffs and make a run with Luka and whatnot.
02:30As a fan, if I were a Laker fan, I support it.
02:33I support it 100%.
02:35I just would rather not be lied to.
02:37That's all.
02:38And I'm convinced that's what this is all about.
02:41And I want to be clear.
02:42I'm not accusing him of doing it.
02:44I'm not saying he is doing it.
02:46I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised if that's what this ruse is all about.
02:51It just seems very weird to me that he all of a sudden has sciatica out of the blue that
02:58we've never heard of before.
02:59And we know everything about him because he's a public figure for so long.
03:03And then all of a sudden, three weeks from now, five weeks from now, he's going to show
03:07up and play 40 minutes a game and look like he's 25 years old again.
03:13There's a reason cats go to Europe when they need some help physically and medically to be
03:18there to play the level they want to play at.
