00:00First ever NFL game being played, not started.

00:03Dylan Gabriel had a concussion, and here he comes.

00:06Da-da-da-da!

00:08The prodigal son, Shadur Sanders, finally gets in.

00:13And because of the performance yesterday,

00:15all the Shadur backers are now trying to place blame

00:18everywhere other than on Shadur.

00:20Shadur Sanders yesterday, in his first ever NFL game,

00:24so I do give him some grace.

00:25I'm not going to judge his entire career on 16 pass attempts.

00:30Fair enough.

00:31But we can give you an idea of what we thought and how he looked,

00:35and I'll put all the blame you want to put on the Browns offensive line

00:39and then being a bad offense no matter who the quarterback is.

00:42But Shadur Sanders completed four passes.

00:46He was four for 16 for less than 50 yards.

00:51And we went back, and this is no joke,

00:53he is now the lowest-rated quarterback in the history of the NFL,

01:01that is a fact, with a 13.5 rating.

01:04Had a couple sacks, had a fumble, they didn't lose.

01:07And look, it just looked bad.

01:09But now here's the reaction from a good portion of America

01:13that wanted to see Shadur Sanders.

01:16And look, a couple weeks ago I came around,

01:18I wanted to see him too,

01:19because Dylan Gabriel is not an NFL quarterback.

01:21I don't know if Shadur is or isn't.

01:23He will now, you figure, have a couple weeks now

01:26with Dylan Gabriel and concussion protocol

01:28to prove where there is or isn't.

01:30But it's always funny to me when a guy goes out there,

01:33and again, I'm not judging his career on a half of football.

01:37That would not be fair for me to do.

01:40We all agree it looked terrible.

01:42Horrible.

01:42But now he'll have the whole week to practice

01:44and be the starting quarterback,

01:46and my gutters are going to look a little bit better next weekend.

01:48It won't be worse.

01:49I can't be worse, right?

01:51It won't be worse.

01:51But now the Shadur stans,

01:54who think he's God's gift to quarterbacks,

01:56there's a lot of guys out there,

01:57many of them in the media,

01:59now it's this.

02:00Kevin Stefanski, the embattled head coach of the Browns,

02:03was asked by someone in a post-game press conference

02:06about Shadur practicing with the number ones at any point.

02:10And he admitted that even though he was the backup quarterback

02:13the last couple of weeks,

02:14at no point since he got drafted

02:17has Shadur Sanders ever taken a single rep

02:21with the quote-unquote ones.

02:22Yeah, even preseason when he played,

02:24never.

02:24He has only practiced with backups with third strings

02:26over the summer, fourth string cats.

02:28So this is the first time he ever lined up behind center

02:32with starters from left to right.

02:34That being said,

02:36if you're a Shadur supporter,

02:38this is not the week to gloat.

02:40This is not the week to talk.

02:42This is not the week to open your mouth

02:44because he did not do well yesterday.

02:46And again, I'm giving him grace.

02:49But based on what I did see for half of football,

02:52he's no better than Dylan Gabriel.

02:54He's not an NFL quarterback yet.

02:57But let's see what happens this weekend.

02:59But if you wanted a guy to get off to a good start,

03:01he didn't.
