00:05You know, in Detroit, Coach, he was 0-3 in the playoffs.
00:08He had Megatron up there in Detroit.
00:09I thought he was really good up there, good spinner of the football.
00:12And all of a sudden, he gets with McVay.
00:14Is it just organizationally, Coach, that when you're surrounded by great coaches,
00:19a great organization, an organization that knows what they're doing,
00:23how much of an impact does that make on a career for a quarterback
00:26to be in that environment?
00:29Oh, everything.
00:30Dan, we were just talking about Herbert.
00:32You know, if he'd been in with McVay, what kind of career would he have been
00:35in that system, you know, with the talent that they had?
00:38Just when he came out, you superimpose him there.
00:41Who knows what Herbert would be?
00:42But to me, it's everything.
00:44There's so few organizations, Dan, that really know how to develop
00:48and bring a quarterback along.
00:50And that relationship between McVay and Stafford has been absolutely dynamic.
00:55And I think that this would be a great year for them.
00:57You know, they're putting that together.
00:58But I can't overstate that enough, how important that is,
01:03relationship and knowing how to call a game with a quarterback like this
01:08and prepare him and bring him along and get the best out of him.
01:10And McVay does it exceptionally well.
01:14Coach, when you're a guy like an Andy Reid that brings back an Eric Biennium,
01:18you were a play-calling head football coach, and you were an O.C.
01:22when you won the Super Bowl as well with the Rams.
01:24How important is that dynamic that Andy is now bringing back somebody that Patrick Mahomes,
01:31let's look at it, the last two years, Coach, you know,
01:33has been kind of down there in Kansas City.
01:35What kind of impact do you think Eric Biennium will bring to the Chiefs?
01:39Eric understands the culture.
01:40He understands what Andy wants.
01:43He understands the system.
01:44He understands the dynamics.
01:46But more importantly, he's a very disciplined guy.
01:50And he's really not hard on guys, but he's demanding.
01:54And that's what they need, Dan.
01:56You know, they kind of got off the rails a little bit.
02:00Now they've got a guy back in there that can demand the perfection
02:03that they were used to in the past,
02:04and I think that's what he's going to do for them.
