00:00All right, I did not expect this today, but I am overall pleasantly surprised.

00:08So, what do I have before me? This is a licensed, uh, merchandise, uh, pretty much

00:15prop, replica, replica, I guess, uh, jacket based on the Alien Force slash Ultimate Alien

00:24Ben Tennyson jacket that Ben Tennyson wore in Ben 10, Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, or UAF

00:32as it's referred to in the fandom. Um, but yeah, so this was made by, um, Daylight Curfew

00:45in New York City. So, yeah. Um, I did not get the email where it said, with the tracking

00:55info and everything, but apparently, it might have just got sent to my spam folder, um, for

01:01the email I use for that site. But, yeah, so they are sending these out. I pre-ordered

01:08this, I think, back in July or, uh, or August, um, one of the two, whenever they became available

01:16for pre-order and everything. And I wanted one of these because I thought they looked cool

01:23and I thought it would be cool to have, um, for, like, I don't know, costume events or,

01:30um, like, conventions or whatever, whatever I go to in the future. So, yeah, and this has

01:39a bunch of cool things that they put into it. For one, it's a, it's pretty much a replica

01:44of the jacket worn by Ryan Kelly, I believe his name is, in Ben 10 Alien Swarm. It is definitely

01:50based on that look because, um, even though it's not, like, one-to-one, I think his jacket

01:57worn for the movie was maybe a little bit darker in terms of the green. To deal with

02:01the more, kind of, muted color palette and make it a little bit more serious. I think

02:05also to go with the more mature tone, quote-unquote. Um, but, on the top here, there is a, uh, clasp

02:13that you can, uh, clasp on and off. And, um, there's a really cool thing right here where

02:21it's the, uh, Omnitrix symbol right there on the thing. So, yeah, and the cool thing

02:29about this as well is, like, everything is, like, hand-stitched. I, for the most part,

02:33whatever goes on here, this feels like it's made out of pleather, um, but I'm not entirely

02:38sure what the thing is made out of. Let me actually check the, the page for it if I can.

02:46Um, okay, so looking on the website for daylightcurfew.com, it says, jacket features soft vegan leather

03:00exterior and accents with a custom Ben 10 interior. Uh, jacket is sized as unisex and all that. So,

03:08yeah, it's vegan leather, which I don't know if that means pleather or not, but maybe it is.

03:12Feels like an, like, an old, like, Michael Jackson thriller jacket that I had that was made out

03:18of pleather, um, yeah, that I had, like, well over a decade ago. But, yeah, um, so, yeah. So,

03:29basically, everything here is, like, pretty much, I think it dyed green and everything.

03:35You have this as well, which I, I'm assuming was on the Alien Swarm jacket. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure

03:39this is just trying to be a prop replica of the jacket from, uh, Alien Swarm in terms

03:47of design. Cause they did, they made an Albedo version of this as well. That is currently 20

03:53bucks off. Cause this is, like, um, 148 bucks on their website. So, yeah, the Albedo jacket

04:02was that much as well, but now it's currently 20 dollars off. I don't know if they're trying

04:06to just get rid of the stock or whatever that they have left over, or if it's just a sale

04:12for it. Um, but, yeah. I might at some point get the Albedo jacket as well, cause it's, it's

04:18this, but, uh, red and bl- and, um, red and black. There we go. Yeah, red and black. And

04:26the color for the 10 is reversed like it is in the show. So, yeah. Um, so, just to take

04:36a look at this, you can see the stitching for everything, um, where they added the things

04:41after they got the jacket itself made and everything. Then the 10 you can also see is

04:48stitched on, or stitched on, which is cool. You have the armbands right here that are also

04:55stitched on, which is really cool. Um, so yeah, you have these things so you can open

05:01up the sleeves a bit. Um, just really good. The pockets also have zippers on them. So, yeah,

05:11I didn't get a good look at this before I did this video. I literally just kept it in my

05:16room, uh, for when I was done with work. So, yeah. Um, at the back you can see that you

05:23just have all this, like, stitching and everything where they sewed it all together, which is

05:27pretty good. Um, so yeah. Obviously in the show it doesn't look, it all looks like it's

05:33one piece, but yeah. So then, you unzip this, and on the inside, that's actually pretty cool.

05:47Um, now in the show, obviously you don't have this. It's all, I think the interior of the jacket

05:52is black. Um, but yeah, in the show. But yeah, so yeah, like a darker, like, kind of emerald or

06:01forest green with Omnitrix symbols all over the place. You have the thing right here that has the

06:08Ben 10 logo. This is the franchise logo rather than, like, uh, the original logo or anything. Um,

06:15it's just whatever. And then you have a thing here, dry clean only, do not soak, do not bleach,

06:22spot treat, stains with warm water, hang dry, a little iron, maybe China. It says 50% EU,

06:32no idea what that means, 50% polyester. So, yeah, so this actually, this just looks really cool.

06:40Well, I still have my, um, Alien Force on the tricks. No idea where I put that. Ah, here we go.

06:50So, I had this from all the way back in, like, 2008 when it came out. Uh, yeah, I think that's

07:01the electronics starting to, or burning out for when it turns on. It has, it has some, like, issues,

07:11but still works fine for what you need it to. I think that that's mainly the spring. Yeah. But,

07:20yeah, it is funny. Maybe I just need to replace the batteries in this. I don't know. But, yeah,

07:26because it is the original batteries from 2008. They haven't, like, fried anything or whatever.

07:30But that's actually really cool. So, at some point, probably got a convention just wearing this,

07:35um, that, like, do you like the costume thing. Kind of thinking of going to the next, uh,

07:41Power Morphicon with this, because why the fuck not? Um, but, yeah, I just, I just wanted to show

07:47this off, because, like, uh, this cost a decent amount of money. It is a premium product. It's a

07:54licensed prop replica jacket and everything. At some point, I'll probably get the albedo jacket.

08:00Um, there is a second version, which I think is just made out of, well, there's the omnivorous hoodie,

08:07which is 90 bucks. There's the Ben 10 Classic tee, which is 35 bucks, which isn't actually that bad.

08:13Um, I know that there's another version of this that isn't, I think it's more directly

08:18based on the one from the show. Uh, yeah, it says jacket number two advanced reservation.

08:25Currently, the reservation for that is 98 bucks. That's not actually that bad.

08:30And it's, like, 20 bucks, 22 bucks less than the original, or than, you know, than the original

08:36price. And it looks like it's more based on, like, just a regular jacket, like, a hoodless

08:43hoodie kind of thing, which kind of seems like is what it is in the show, but we don't really

08:49get a definitive answer on what the, uh, material is in the show. But, yeah, but it's really cool
