00:00all right people she's here i'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today of digimon the movies
00:07collection 2 movies 4 to 6 so yeah you may remember i think this was last year 2024 uh
00:17at the time i'm not shooting this this will be the last day of 2025 so you'll see this the first
00:22day of 2026 uh discotech released digimon the movies collection 1 which contained the first
00:29three movies in their original theatrical cuts as well as the u.s cut with digimon the movie
00:37um so yeah whereas this however features the next three digimon movies for digimon
00:46uh revenge of diaboromon battle of adventures or adventurers and um runaway locomon
00:55these movies were dubbed by disney back in the day i and just weren't released on home media
01:04um revenge of diaboromon i remember seeing when it originally aired on tv i did not see um any of
01:13the other movies that disney dubbed back in the day they dubbed all of the movies from uh revenge
01:19diaboromon to i think the one movie that came out of diaboromon to i think the one movie that came out
01:23with um what's the fourth series called tamers i think no no tamers is uh the third series but yeah
01:34frontier there we go frontier um i don't know i don't remember if they dubbed any movies that came
01:41out with data squad but yeah um and i i'm assuming there are movies maybe with uh cross wars i know
01:53it's called but also uh in japan it's called that but um fusion fusion uh i don't know i don't believe
02:04any of those movies got dubbed if there are any movies um because i don't think so bomb bothered to
02:08because they only got the first two seasons of that that show into english but yeah um so we finally
02:16have a home video release of these movies um and we have a few things as well that uh discotech did
02:25uh in revenge diaboromon and i think i actually think it's it's one of these two i can't remember
02:32um they had a couple of the characters redubbed with their actors from the tv show
02:38they got um they got joshua seth to redub ty's lines for revenge diaboromon and for a character
02:47that had a different actor in this movie and would go on to have a different actor in the show or maybe
02:53it's the other way around um they had the actor from the show come in and redub the lines that the
03:00other actor did for the movie so yeah because in terms of continuity order i believe at least the
03:08the character debuted in this movie or in whichever movie it is um and then went on to be in the series
03:15i believe so yeah um i i was kind of sad because like uh jason spizak took over as high because um
03:24joshua seth had retired from voice acting uh by the point that they dubbed the movie so i was hoping
03:31maybe they could have the original version of the dub as an alternate audio option but i don't think
03:35that they have so yeah and it's and maybe i'm a little bit confused with what i read but i i swear
03:43someone said somewhere that uh the revenge diaboromon movie was like there was some stuff like slightly
03:51trimmed for the tv broadcast but i don't think there was um but yeah so yeah so we got uh we got like
04:01i guess a complete dub for revenge diaboromon and then um dubs that had slight tweaks to them
04:07for one of the or a dub that was slightly tweaked for one of the other ones so yeah and that's
04:14dubbing redubbing ties lines is not a um an easy feat to do because he's one of the main
04:20characters but yeah um whereas the other ones or the other character um just would have taken
04:29probably like 10 minutes to do um but yeah and uh most studios wouldn't even wouldn't even bother
04:37doing that but uh discotheque decided to so yeah so on the front you have digimon the movies all
04:45three posters the names of the movies and then on the bottom jep or english and japanese versions
04:50movie collection too because unlike um called uh digimon the movie which was a recut of the first
04:58three digimon movies into one uh these movies were dubbed separately and uncut so that's actually really
05:05cool and another thing discotheque did as well as for one of the uh tamers movies can't remember which
05:11one the opening credits they are famous for both of them they uh they did stylized credits for the
05:17opening sequence of the movie um so yeah they recreated those with the subtitles so yeah it's
05:25it's funny because uh the uh the the sound effect for the that text appearing is still in the audio
05:31so they just did that so yeah so here we go with the spine you know i think omnimon right there
05:40digimon movies collection 2 movies 4 to 6 english and japanese versions and then we have the other
05:47spine and in the back the movies digivolve once again three classic digimon movie adventures
05:54digivolve onto blu-ray newly restored english dubs that are now completely uncut
05:58so yeah so maybe there was some stuff trimmed or cut from the
06:02original areas and they got some of the actors back to
06:06just dug those lines but yeah
06:10so uh movie 4 revenge of the new boromon
06:13battle of adventures and runaway locomon so yeah features
06:19promos and commercials art gallery vintage english dug credits so yeah
06:23so then you have this includes three lost digimon movie dubs restored remastered and uncut for the
06:30very first time we have these and it's region a you know both the english and japanese logos
06:36um video 1.85 by 1 16 by 9 1080p hd audio english dts hd master audio 2.0 japanese dts master audio 2.0
06:47japanese dts hd master audio 5.1 for battle of adventures or adventures that's um interesting
06:56three movies on one disc 100 yeah 111 minutes unrated and all that
07:03so yeah so here we go um
07:06so now the same stuff on the disc case
07:10on the inside you got the movie disc which has the eye on it
07:16and then here you have the three individual movie posters that are on the front
07:24so yeah
07:26so then to just compare more to
07:29the collection one
07:31same layout similar to how the shows have had the similar
07:34yeah the same layout
07:36and everything it's just that the colors are a bit different and obviously the screenshots
07:40are different so
07:42yeah but basically everything is about the same
07:45um so yeah
07:48uh so yeah that's actually pretty good
07:52so yeah this is more of a blue whereas collection one is more of a purple
07:57so yeah
