00:00All right, hi people, it's Jigs here. I'm here to do an embossing for you guys today of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Steelbook.

00:07I can't remember if I did, but I do have the Funimation release of this movie.

00:12This is now a, um, Steelbook with the 4K transfer of the movie on the disc.

00:18And, uh, yeah. So basically, Funimation originally licensed and dubbed this a little over a decade ago.

00:25Released it on Blu-ray and DVD. Then at some point after, um, Funimation was folded over into Crunchyroll by Sony,

00:33um, I guess they just let the rights lapse. And so, um, I think it's G-Kids licensed it, because it's a Mamoru Hosara film.

00:42And, uh, they, um, they sub-licensed it to Shadow Factory for a re-release.

00:50And I'm glad that they did. So yeah. And since they released a Steelbook, I decided to get it.

00:57So here we go, with the Steelbook. Uh, the cover is the same as the original release.

01:02I dig out the original release, but I don't want to right now, because it's in a bin in my closet.

01:07So, yeah. But, yeah. So, we have this.

01:11We have this from Academy Award-winning-nominated director Mamoru Hosara.

01:16The Girl Who Left Her Time, and you got the main character right there.

01:19I have not actually watched the movie, unfortunately. But, at some point, I will.

01:24Um, so yeah. So here we go. Yeah, G-Kids licensed it. Makes sense. You know.

01:30The Girl Who Left Her Time, you got the Ultra HD thing, and Studio Chizu.

01:37So yeah. And the back of the Steelbook.

01:40You see Shot Studios right there, and all that. So yeah.

01:45So here's the back of this thing, which I'm assuming is the back of the regular release,

01:50because they did re-release this in a regular, uh, Blu-ray case, if you want to get that instead.

02:19or the Ultra, the 4K disc, has, I mean, 2160p, Ultra HD, HDR, 1.78x1,

02:27Audio, Japanese DTS HD Master Audio 5.1, and English DTS HD Master Audio 5.1.

02:32Subtitles, English, English, STH, Spanish, and French.

02:36Blu-ray, uh, just 1080p, 1.78x1,

02:40same Japanese, or same audio and subtitles as the 4K version, or 4K disc.

02:46A description of the movie and the release.

02:51So yeah. Not rated. PG in Canada.

02:54And all this. So yeah. Feature runtime, 98 minutes.

02:59Bonus features are not rated.

03:01So, yeah. 2018 Best Animated Feature Film by Mirai.

03:08Oh, okay. So maybe it's a little less than a decade ago?

03:11But yeah.

03:13So, on the inside of the thing here,

03:18It's just, uh, they have a screenshot from the movie as the background image.

03:22And you have the two discs.

03:24This is the 4K.

03:25And then the regular, uh, Blu-ray disc, which are in the same styling as

03:31their, um, re-releases of the Studio Ghibli movies.
