00:01I'm Joey Jones, and for Laura Ingraham, this is a special edition of the Ingraham Angle,
00:05and thanks for watching.
00:07Chaos through the day as anti-ice agitators swarm the ice facility in Broadview, Illinois.
00:13Hundreds of protesters were met with police in riot gear and snipers on the roof.

00:31You!
00:32We're going to go live to that scene in moments, but first, another night of clashes in Portland,
00:37Oregon.
00:38Our own Bill Malusian was there for all of it.
00:41Federal agents bull rushing and taking down a protester who stepped onto federal property
00:47despite repeated warnings.
00:50One of the protesters on a bullhorn mocking the agents, saying, what are you going to
00:53do about it if we get on the property?
00:55Will you see the results of that?
00:57Then there was this fist fight.
00:58We were watching these two guys jawing at each other all night long.
01:02Eventually, the fist started flying.
01:03The guy in the white shirt is an ice supporter.
01:06The guy in the black shirt is an anti-ice protester.
01:09He is the one who got laid out with a punch to the face.
01:13And a short time later, we saw him collapse motionless on the ground with some significant
01:19swelling to his face.
01:21There was no Portland police anywhere to be seen when that happened.
01:24Yeah.
01:25Ring the bell.
01:26He's out.
01:27And now Portland police are being investigated by the DOJ after they arrested conservative
01:31journalist Nick Sorter last night.
01:34Yeah.
01:35That was the same Nick Sorter who was on this show hours before his arrest.
01:55He was criticizing the police for what he called their lax approach to these riots.
01:59They have cops here.
02:01They're told to stand down.
02:02They're told not to help innocent civilians.
02:05But at this point, they are on the side of criminals and Antifa out here.
02:10They are the ones that don't get prosecuted.
02:13You saw Katie Davis court from the Post Millennial get hit with a pole the other day and Portland
02:18police walked away.
02:19They were told by top brass to stand down.
02:21So they're openly siding with Antifa terrorists out here.
02:26Yeah.
02:26Nick says he was getting a video of protesters crying after they were maced by federal agents
02:31when some of my guests swarmed him and pushed him into what appears to be a flower bed.
02:36You can kind of see it there.
02:38He says they threw multiple punches.
02:40They hit him and they broke his camera.
02:41He got away.
02:43He says he walked over to police.
02:44And that's when he says he was arrested.
02:47Nick joins us now.
02:49With more on this.
02:50Nick, tell us what happened exactly.
02:54And it's it's it's crazy that the entire day has been crazy.
02:58I mean, it's still the same day as yesterday for me because I've been up all night because
03:01I was stuffed in a jail and the jail here in Portland weirdly empty because they don't
03:07actually arrest criminals around here.
03:09Just people like me that, you know, report on what's actually going on on the ground out
03:13here.
03:13I am next to the ice facility.
03:15I'm on federal property right now.
03:17And Portland police won't dare step foot on federal property, as we know.
03:21But, you know, Joey, we know that these Antifa thugs hate to be filmed in general.
03:28They hate it even more when you film them while they're screaming and crying because they were
03:32just maced because they effed around and found out by pushing federal agents.
03:38You know, they're not as tough as they want you to believe that they are.
03:42And and so, you know, the last thing they want is for you to for somebody like me to film
03:46them while they're crying with mace in their eyes.
03:49So unfortunately for them, I have a First Amendment right.
03:52As an as an American citizen, I can film them in public on the sidewalk and there's nothing
03:57they can do about it.
03:58So that's why they broke down.
04:00I wouldn't go away.
04:01I wouldn't stop filming them.
04:03And so they got violent and aggressive and they they started punching me.
04:07They started they broke my camera.
04:09Yeah.
04:09And somehow that's criminal on my part.
04:13Haven't figured that part out yet.
04:14You know, Nick, a lot has been made about the fact that you were kind of reporting on
04:18the police not responding.
04:20They were burning American flags, getting getting, I don't know, antsy, I guess you're
04:25you're just reporting on the police and kind of what you would say is not being lax about
04:30it.
04:30Then all of a sudden you get arrested.
04:32Now, I know there's a tussle there.
04:33And if we watch football, it's the guy that shoves last that gets the flag called on them.
04:38What is your perspective on this?
04:40Do you think that the police knew who you were, arrested you because of it?
04:43Or do you think that you were just the last one kind of swinging there and that's why
04:47they grabbed you?
04:49Well, considering the fact that that they don't arrest anybody here ever, especially,
04:55you know, down here, you saw Katie Davis court with that, that black eye that she got,
04:58you know, the police followed the assailant and did nothing.
05:02They just let them go.
05:03Right now, all of a sudden they change it when when I am here, when a conservative journalist
05:08is on the ground, you know, exposing what's actually going on.
05:11Is that just a coincidence?
05:13How did that just happen all of a sudden?
05:15I mean, it's I don't really think it is a coincidence, unfortunately, Joey.
05:19But, you know, because I was I didn't have very glowing reviews for them on Laura's show
05:24last night when I was here.
05:26And it took them over an hour to figure out what the charge was.
05:30They arrested me.
05:31They put me in the back of the police car.
05:33We parked on the side of the road for a while.
05:35And then after about an hour, they're like, OK, yeah, we'll charge them with disorderly
05:38conduct.
05:39So which is if what I was doing is disorderly, what do you call people with microphones at
05:45three o'clock in the morning?
05:46Yeah.
05:47Lighting fires in the middle of the street.
05:49What did you notice?
05:50Did you notice when the police got there with the protesters?
05:53Were they pointing their eye at all police, at the local police as well?
05:56Or did they keep it on ice?
05:58Like, did you see any type of I don't know if it's relationship or did the protesters say,
06:03oh, they're on our side.
06:03Let's keep it pushing towards ice or describe some of that to us.
06:08Yeah.
06:08So they they really don't seem to have any ill will toward the the Portland police.
06:13But why would they?
06:14The Portland police have been running cover for them for years now.
06:17It's like they're all they're in the pocket of Antifa.
06:19You know, when you've got these, you know, Bill Malugian, he was here for a few days as
06:25well, talking to these liaisons that they have, these liaison officers that they station
06:31around here.
06:32They are supposed to only intervene in cases of imminent death.
06:39Right.
06:39So if you're getting beaten in the street until you're, you know, unconscious and bleeding
06:44out, they're not going to step in.
06:45I mean, they they'll tell you that if you ask them.
06:48And so the Antifa people have gotten used to it where there is no action from Portland
06:53police.
06:54So, yeah, they feel like they're on the same side at this point, especially, you know,
06:57you should you should have heard the cheers from the crowd when I was arrested.
07:01You know, they loved that.
07:03Are you out there alone and unafraid?
07:05Actually, I think we got a video real quick of you pulling the American flag.
07:08If we have that, I'd like to play it.
07:11And yeah, let's play that real quick.
07:14We got a Trump supporter.
07:16We got a Trump supporter right here.
07:17Oh, he's putting it on the ground and he's making it worse.
07:22And now he's standing on it.
07:24Now he's standing on it.
07:26You're not supposed to stand on it.
07:28Oh, now he thinks he's saving it.
07:30OK, so it looks like one of the flying monkeys from Wizard of Oz was trying to tell you that
07:35you made it worse.
07:37Were there any other counter protesters out there?
07:39Are you the only person there with common sense that cares about the American flag, that
07:43understands that ICE has a job to do?
07:45I mean, were you there alone and unafraid in that?
07:48So I definitely wasn't.
07:50I wasn't there alone.
07:51There were some counter protesters.
07:52But in terms of, you know, I mean, I'm built a little bit differently, right?
07:58I was willing to run into that and grab that flag, put that fire out.
08:02And I still I actually have that flag now.
08:04It's in the back of my car.
08:06I posted a photo of actually Bill Malusian took a photo of me with it earlier in front
08:09of the ICE facility.
08:11And I still have it.
08:12I'm going to bring it home with me.
08:13And and I'll, you know, cherish it the way that it should be cherished.
08:18These people, they hate our country.
08:20They hate our flag.
08:21They hate everything that we're about.
08:22I'm telling you right now, Joey, this place doesn't feel like the United States of America
08:26anymore.
08:26It feels like a third world communist country.
08:30And that's the way that the the government out here treats the citizens as well.
08:34I mean, people like me are not welcome here by the government.
08:37They literally threw me in jail.
08:40They tried.
08:40They they want to intimidate us into shutting up and going away and not coming here because
08:47you know, it's it's pretty obvious to the American people.
08:50When you show them what's actually going on here on the ground, this is like a 90 10
08:54issue.
08:56Well, you know, a lot of people would not support what's going on here.
08:59I mean, I guess you got into a tussle there later on, but they didn't give much of a fight
09:03when you grab the flag.
09:04At least you're able to do that.
09:05I don't know what the proper protocol is.
09:07Maybe put it in a frame next to your arrest warrant and remind people what the price of
09:11taking and standing up for freedom is.
09:14Either way, Nick, stay safe out there, but continue to do exactly what you're doing.
09:18We need to see firsthand what's happening.
09:21And the fact you're arrested last night and you're back out there today.
09:24Just keep yourself safe and keep showing the story.
09:29All right.
09:29Meanwhile, just outside of Chicago, it was a wild scene outside the Broadview ice facility.
09:35Fox News national correspondent Garrett Tenney is here and he's got the latest.
09:38Garrett, what you got?
09:39Yeah, Joey, here we have had huge crowds of protesters coming out every Friday for the
09:45past month.
09:46And this is the first time we are not seeing chaos.
09:50And that's because today, for the first time, state and local officials allowed police to
09:55actually be involved in the crowd control with these protests.
09:59And that's what they did this morning is they cleared out this crowd of hundreds of activists
10:03that included some paid agitators, according to federal agents.
10:06We saw at least a dozen people taken into custody and at least five are now facing charges,
10:12including two accused of attacking officers.
10:15Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was here in Broadview at the ice processing center this
10:19morning.
10:20You can see this video of her on the roof where a sniper's nest has been put up as the threats
10:25against ice have increased after more than a month of often chaotic protests at this facility.
10:31Last night, though, despite not allowing local police to be involved in crowd control until
10:35today, Broadview's mayor argued ice is completely to blame for the chaos.
10:41When you see agents dispersing tear gas or chemical minutiae or rubber pellets, what do you call it?
10:48You know, it's just it's unacceptable.
10:50You know, we don't need to be policed.
10:53We know how to maintain.
10:54The question from federal officials, though, is if you know how to police, why haven't you
11:01been doing it?
11:02And after more than a month of these chaotic protests, federal agents have been left on their
11:07own to deal with these huge crowds of hundreds of activists trying to keep ice officers from
11:12bringing in the illegal aliens that they've arrested as part of Operation Midway Blitz.
11:16And the change you can see here to now, tonight, it is just night and day from what we've been
11:21seeing over the past month.
11:23Joey?
11:24Thanks, Garrett.
11:26All right.
11:27Leftists around the country are causing absolute chaos from Portland and beyond.
11:31But if you ask Democrats, everything is, well, it's just fine.
11:34It's business as usual.
11:35There's no need for help from, say, the Trump administration.
11:39Portland, Oregon is a beautiful, vibrant, successful city.
11:43We are not a war zone.
11:44Portland, so it's pretty calm and peaceful and recovering and business has been coming
11:48back downtown.
11:49We've been recovering from the riots that Trump incentivized and stimulated back in 2020.
11:55And we're like, stay away.
11:57We are telling this unwarranted and unconstitutional occupation by ICE and potentially by military troops
12:06to get out of Chicago.
12:09You are not helping us.
12:11Yeah, and as they ignore the real trouble happening in their own cities and states, the
12:16left is busy tackling, well, what they call real issues, like blocking bathroom access
12:21in a public building.
12:22Can I allow you to use a restroom?
12:24No, we cannot.
12:26We can't?
12:26Don't open on the door.
12:27Okay.
12:28Please don't open.
12:29Okay.
12:29All right.
12:31We're coming to go out and do some operations to pick up some guys with criminal convictions on
12:37them and the city police wouldn't even let us use a restroom.
12:40Yeah.
12:40Here with me is Victor Davis Hanson, Hoover Institute Senior Fellow.
12:45You just saw what was being said.
12:47I guess they're blaming.
12:48They're going all the way back to 2020 and saying that those riots were Trump's fault.
12:52They're saying that, I guess, going in and instilling the law or rounding up illegals that
12:56for some reason that's Trump's fault that people are coming out and attacking ICE agents.
13:02Yeah.
13:03Their view is that it was moral to break the law and let in 12 million people illegally
13:08and it's amoral to enforce it.
13:11But it's a larger issue, Joey, because we've settled this in the United States 190 years
13:18ago with the nullification crisis of 1830 or the Civil War.
13:23States do not have the right to appropriate federal property or nullify federal law.
13:30And so this is taking sanctuary cities to a new level.
13:34So basically they're saying we in Portland or Oregon or Chicago, we have the right to
13:42override federal law as we please and we don't have to protect the rights, the civil rights
13:46of U.S. citizens because they're Portlanders first and Americans second.
13:52And you federal people have no jurisdiction.
13:55It's kind of like George Wallace in 1963 at the University of Alabama saying, I'm not going
14:00to follow federal law.
14:02Alabama is a state unto itself.
14:05You know, Karen Bass, she says that Trump wants to turn the military against our own citizens.
14:12Let's take a listen to this.
14:13The president of the United States wants to turn the U.S. military against the American
14:20people and to tell law enforcement that they are now unleashed and they can use their guns
14:25is essentially saying go in primarily inner city communities and shoot people.
14:33You know, listen, none of us want totalitarian government.
14:37None of us want our military turned against us.
14:40What's happening with the Trump administration is pretty obvious.
14:42Crime is out of control, was in D.C. and places like Chicago.
14:46And the federal government has a job and a responsibility to deport people that are here illegally.
14:51I feel like, you know, we had a guest on just a few minutes ago who said this is a 90-10
14:54issue and the election showed that.
14:56Are American people going to fall for this trope that somehow the National Guard presence
15:00is Trump trying to attack American citizens?
15:05No, I hope not.
15:06But you're right.
15:07They're taking an issue that has the deportation of mostly criminal illegal aliens that has overwhelming
15:14American support.
15:15And they're trying to create such chaos and confusion that the American people who watch
15:21this will sort of go in a fetal position, put their hands figuratively over their ears and
15:26say, make it all go away.
15:28It's Trump.
15:28If Trump will just stop it, it'll all go away.
15:31And then the issue's forgotten that they're trying to enforce the law and the federal government
15:36has jurisdiction to return people to their home country that are here illegally.
15:41Most of them in this first round of deportations who are here illegally.
15:46But they don't want to talk about that issue.
15:49They're really neo-Confederate nullificationists.
15:52They're basically saying L.A. is a sovereign entity, Portland, and we do not have to obey
15:57the laws of the federal government.
15:59We're successionists, except when they want federal money.
16:02And then, of course, they're all integral parts of the United States.
16:08Yeah, it seems like even parts of L.A. when we look at how they're treating the victims
16:11from the wildfire, it just depends on where you are and who you are, how much they want
16:15to let the federal government help or even help themselves at all.
16:20Maybe from all this, doctor, maybe we'll get a right-leaning California.
16:24I doubt it, but maybe people will see what's going on and wake up.
16:28Yeah, I hope so.
16:29I mean, there's people in California that are sick of it.
16:31The problem is that if you're tired of what they did to California, you shouldn't leave
16:36because we've lost about 8 million people.
16:38You need to stay here and reclaim California for the same people, but it's very hard when
16:44you have mayors like we have in Portland, Oregon, or California because they don't believe
16:49in the sanctity of law, and they don't believe in the civil rights of their own citizens.
16:53They're citizens in these neighborhoods who have no calm, no security.
16:58Their civil rights are being violated.
17:00The agents themselves, their civil rights are being violated to be assaulted, and no one
17:05will protect them.
17:06That's exactly right.
17:07And so the federal government has an obligation to protect their own civil rights.
17:12Victor, thanks for joining us and bringing your expertise, and we'll just hope at least
17:16Americans see what's happening here.
17:18All right, coming up, day three of what we're calling Schumer's shutdown, and Democrats are
17:22still complaining over what they can easily end at any moment.
17:26Just vote for the clean bill.
17:28Senator John Kennedy is up next.
17:33All right, so Senate Democrats say they don't want the Schumer shutdown to continue.
17:37But they keep voting again and again to keep the government closed.
17:41Unfortunately, last night, if you ask our Democratic senators, the Republicans didn't offer anything
17:46really new.
17:48Just the same old stuff.
17:50Nothing on ACA, nothing on rescissions.
17:54And so, look, our Democrats want to go back and negotiate again, but they've got to negotiate with something, get something in return.
18:02Yeah, if I was a betting man, I'd say it's going to happen again when they vote on Monday night.
18:06It's going to stay closed.
18:07What would really help the situation is if the Democrats wanted to negotiate maybe in good faith, but I don't think they do.
18:14Instead of working with Republicans, Democrats tried to dominate social media with a cringe night live.
18:20I mean, it was bad, which was basically 24 hours straight of embarrassment.
18:25And when that didn't work, it was time to crank up the fear mongering.
18:29We are living in an unprecedentedly dangerous moment.
18:33Maybe the worst crisis in America, literally, since the Civil War.
18:40Here with me is Louisiana Senator John Kennedy.
18:43Senator, listen, it's no laughing matter, but when somebody like Bernie invokes the Civil War,
18:48you know, at least I guess they're not saying this is worse than Watergate all over again.
18:52At least he's going back a few decades.
18:54I don't see it.
18:55I don't, this is worse than the Civil War, Senator?
18:58Well, let me explain what's going on.
19:01Um, the country was just rocking along, minding its own business, and our budget expired midnight Tuesday night.
19:10So the Republicans went to the Democrats and said, look, let's just extend the then current budget for seven more weeks while we negotiate a new one.
19:21And to our surprise, the Democrats said, um, no, we will not vote to do that.
19:29In fact, we'll shut down government unless you agree to give us $1.5 trillion, and we'll tell you how to spend it.
19:39Well, I mean, you know, our heads snapped back.
19:43Look, I wasn't about to vote for that.
19:44My mother didn't raise a fool.
19:47And if she did, it was one of my brothers.
19:49And every Republican felt the same way.
19:53So we said no, and that's why we're in a shutdown.
19:56Now, Senator Schumer's getting a lot of the blame, and Lord knows he deserves it because he instructed all the Senate Democrats to vote to shut down government.
20:06But he's not really calling the shots.
20:08The group calling the shots is the socialist wing, the loon wing of the Democratic Party, because they're in control.
20:18And the head of the socialist wing of the Democratic Party is Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez.
20:25She's really calling these shots.
20:27In fact, Senator Schumer is trying to ingratiate himself to the socialist wing of his party and to the congresswoman.
20:36And I have to tell you, I don't hate anybody.
20:40I don't mean any disrespect.
20:41But based on her policies and beliefs, Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is single-handedly trying to put an end to dumb blonde jokes.
20:55I mean, based on her policies, $1.5 trillion, she must be bilingual.
21:04She's speaking English and stupid.
21:07There's no way we're going to go along with this.
21:09And that's why we're in a shutdown.
21:12You know, coming from Georgia, I'm still learning English myself, so I can at least respect that about her.
21:16Listen, you got this bill, seven weeks.
21:18This is kind of a yes or no answer.
21:20We've got a rush here.
21:21Sure.
21:21If you get seven weeks, can you get the budget passed through appropriations?
21:25Or is it just going to be kicking the can again?
21:27Yes, I think we could.
21:29Good.
21:31That's good to hear.
21:32Listen, Senator, thank you so much for joining us.
21:33I appreciate it every time you're on, and we appreciate it.
21:36Coming up, making your kids smart, well, now it's racist.
21:40The left's latest attack, now it's on education.
21:43Stick with it.
21:45Yeah, of all the things you thought you would hear, helping your kids get smarter, well, now you guessed it.
21:50That's racist.
21:51The New York Times says the gifted and talented program in New York City schools is a symbol of segregation.
21:58And Democrat Socialist Zoran Mondani says he wants to eliminate it altogether for kindergartners, those racist.
22:04I continue to believe that it is incredibly important for us to deliver excellent, quality public education for each and every New Yorker,
22:11and that for kindergartners, we should not have a gifted and talented program that is separating them on the basis of that assessment.
22:16But for third graders and other kids, my commitment is solely on the question of kindergartners.
22:22Yeah, quality education.
22:25More than 40% of kids in New York City schools can't read or do math at a grade level.
22:30But helping the exceptional kids, well, now that's the problem here.
22:34Here to discuss is Horace Cooper, Project 21 chairman.
22:38Horace, I want to understand where he's coming from here.
22:41He's talking specifically about kindergartners, and I want to know that there's people in this world that say,
22:46hey, let's not stop this for these kids, but let's bring these other kids to a place where they can take advantage of it.
22:52I mean, you know, getting rid of racism is saying all kids have the opportunity to get into gifted.
22:57And if there's some problem that they can't get there, but they have the intelligence, let's help them there.
23:04Being talented, having special gifts, being able to achieve is something that we should celebrate.
23:10This plan looks like we're going to start in kindergarten and cripple them early, and we don't know how long the repercussions of that are going to last.
23:22Let me just tell you really briefly.
23:24I was six years old when I showed up in my first grade class, and the teacher said, wow, we've not seen a guy this sharp, a kid this sharp.
23:36And they took me, they took me to Sam Houston State University for special tests and assessments, and they told my mother, you're going to have to do extra if you're wanting this kid to really tap into it.
23:54What the mayor of New York just said is, no, no, no, no, no extra, no tapping in, no, it would be unfair, because apparently in his preconceived world, smart, gifted, and talented has a certain race associated with it.
24:12And that's just one of them, because he's not the mayor yet.
24:20I guess there is some hope, but he kind of is the heir apparent, it looks like.
24:24Listen, Horace, thanks for joining us.
24:26I hope all these kids, no matter their color, have a chance to go into gifted.
24:30I did, I just, I didn't follow through with it very well.
24:32That was, I was lazy.
24:34Thanks, Horace.
24:35All right, yet another example of how Democrats are completely out of touch with the American people.
24:40This time, The View's Sonny Hostin claims that gun-toting Christians, well, they're hypocrites.
24:45It started because of a comment by the Pope.
24:48Someone who says I'm against abortion, but says I'm in favor of the death penalty, is not really pro-life.
24:55Yeah, Sonny was, she was on board.
24:58She says as a Catholic, she's against both of those things.
25:01But then she took it a step further.
25:04I'm also against guns.
25:05I believe that all life is precious.
25:08There is a hypocrisy with certain Christians who are pro-life, but they will pull that electric chair switch.
25:16They are pro-life, but they have their AR-15s in their cabinet.
25:19That is not pro-life.
25:20Yeah, here to discuss is Lauren Hill, Senior Vice President at the Second Amendment Foundation.
25:27Laurence, you know, so apparently Christians are hypocrites if they don't believe in getting rid of guns.
25:33You and I know that people who own guns for protection never want to use that gun.
25:38It's not about taking a life.
25:40It's about saving life.
25:41I understand that because I've been on the battlefield, and the threats to those things I care about didn't stop on the battlefield.
25:48No, it should absolutely be about protecting life.
25:50And Christians aren't meant to be doormats.
25:52We're actually meant to stop evil.
25:54And if that's defending oneself, defending my own children, defending people I love, defending other innocents,
26:00whether it's at schools or, you know, in churches or even on public transit,
26:05like we've seen these horrific, you know, murders that have taken place in the last couple months.
26:09I think it's our duty to defend those who can't defend themselves.
26:14When we talk about gun rights, we often get framed, it's always around the AR-15.
26:18It's around this specific type of gun that really is the Democrats' main focus point.
26:23But that's mainly because the Supreme Court has kind of said all these other guns are as old as time,
26:29and you bet that they're going to have the right to carry them.
26:31So is it really the danger of the AR-15, or is it the optics of the AR-15 that Democrats hone in on?
26:37Well, working for an organization that does Second Amendment litigation,
26:41we are anxiously awaiting the Supreme Court to take up one of those cases.
26:45But me, as a woman, and as we've seen in the last couple of years,
26:50women being almost half of the new gun owners,
26:54women don't go to the range as much as men, and they want to feel safe and secure.
26:58And I think that handguns are way, they're much harder for women to carry and to understand and to feel comfortable with
27:06than a rifle is, or a shotgun is, for that matter.
27:09And so for me, if I want something that's speedy and accurate and in my home, it's going to be my AR-15.
27:16Listen, I appreciate you coming on and talking to us about this.
27:19Nobody wants to take a life.
27:20If I carry a gun everywhere, I legally can, and that would be...
27:25I went to war hoping I never had to do it.
27:26And for her to say something like that, to indict all Christians, I would never speak for someone's faith.
27:31But thank you for coming here and speaking about freedom.
27:33We appreciate you.
27:34All right, coming up, Harvard just hired a drag queen.
27:37Ice captures illegal immigrants wanted for an allegedly killing mother in a DUI crash.
27:48Ecuadorian suspect was released twice by local authorities despite Ice detainer requests.
27:56Immigration and Customs Enforcement captured an Ecuadorian illegal immigrant
28:01who is facing vehicular homicide charges in Minnesota on Friday.
28:05The August crash in which German Adriano Langani, Inga, allegedly had a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit,
28:29killed mother Victoria Eileen Harwell and hurt her teenage daughter and sister,
28:34according to DHS and local media outlets.
28:39Despite a lack of cooperation from local Minnesota authorities,
28:43Ice arrested criminal illegal alien German Ligari Inga.
28:47This criminal illegal alien has been evading prosecution for vehicular homicide
28:52that resulted in the death of Minnesota mum Victoria Eileen Harwell.
28:57Assistant Secretary McLolin said in a statement on Tuesday,
29:01He was arrested by Hennepin County Sheriff's Office on May 10th on an outstanding warrant,
29:09but then released on May 13th without notifying Ice,
29:12despite the detainer request placed by the agency on that day,
29:16according to the Department of Homeland Security.
29:19There was another detainer placed by Ice in August when the crash occurred by Hennepin County Sheriff's Office,
29:26told Fox News Digital that because of the State Attorney General's guidance,
29:31they cannot lawfully hold individuals in custody based solely on an administrative detainer
29:36issued by the Department of Homeland Security or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
29:41If a dutically signed warrant is presented to HCSO,
29:48Ice will be notified when it becomes the holding agency.
29:52In the absence of such a warrant, individuals must be released
29:55once all criminal charges or holds have been resolved.
29:59HCSO is committed to working with the federal and local partners
30:02and honouring the constitutional rights of all individuals.
30:06HCSO's statement at the time added,
30:09In August, he was only in county jail for two days.
30:15Despite Hennepin County refusing to honour this criminal illegal alien detainer twice,
30:21Ice officers tracked him down and removed this criminal from Minnesota streets.
30:26Tim Wells should be thanking Ice, not using despicable rhetoric.
30:30Remember sanctuary politicians are fighting for criminal illegal aliens.
30:34President Trump and Secretary Noem are fighting for the victims of illegal alien crime,
30:39like Eileen Harwell, McLollan continued.
30:43Earlier this month, the Trump White House took aim at Minnesota leaders
30:47because the man was still at large.
30:49According to Ice, he first came to the United States in June 2016
30:53and was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection,
30:57issued an order of expedited removal and placed into removal proceedings.
31:01An illegal immigrant drove drunk, killed an innocent mother
31:06and is now on the run because Democrats didn't do their most important job,
31:11protect their constitutes.
31:13Alex Pfeffer, White House Principal Deputy Communications Director,
31:17told Fox News Digital in an exclusive statement at the time.
