00:00Good evening, everyone. I'm Laura Ingram. This is The Ingram Angle. Thanks, as always,
00:06for spending some time with us. And hi to all you ghosts and goblins. It's October 31st.
00:12So how did our president dress up for Halloween? Like Trump?
00:17Okay. Happy Halloween and all of that.
00:23I love that. And all of that. Look, he's got a lot on his plate. We still have to make sure
00:28China lives up to its big promises. He's awaiting a Supreme Court ruling on tariffs that could make
00:33or break our economy. And of course, he's still dealing with the Democrats, keeping the government
00:38closed. But it's clear that he's had enough of their politics. I don't know what's wrong with
00:43them. They've never done a thing like this. They've become crazed lunatics. All they have to do is say,
00:50let's go, let's open up our country. And everything snaps back into shape. So there's something wrong
00:59with them. I'm always going to meet. All they have to do is open up the country. Let them open up the
01:07country and we'll meet. We'll meet very quickly. But they have to open up the country. It's their fault.
01:14Landing in Palm Beach this afternoon, just a day after he returned from racking up his trade winds
01:21in Asia, the president emphasized that Republicans want this resolve like yesterday, but they're not
01:27going to allow Democrats to take the entire country hostage to do it. But the Republicans are very
01:33unified. They're very strong and they want to do what's right for the country. They don't want to
01:38see trillions of dollars wasted on people that came into our country illegally, many from prisons and
01:44many from areas that you don't want to even know about. What I like most about the president's brief
01:50remarks today, he also showed a willingness to address the root cause of the problems in health
01:57care, which is basically Obamacare really stinks. Obamacare has turned out to be a disaster,
02:03as I've been saying for years. It can be fixed or redone. People don't get good health care and
02:11their premiums go up every single year. So we should change it. It's a disaster. Obamacare is
02:18bad health care at a very high price. Bad health care at a very high price. It's ration care. He is
02:25100% correct about that. Again, he's always willing to take on the big problems, never shying away from
02:32them like so many politicians do. Meanwhile, the Democrats are wrestling with their own identity
02:37crisis because, of course, Chuck Schumer is afraid that AOC is going to primary him. He's bowing to
02:43the party's left flank on every issue that matters. Most importantly, the vote to reopen the government
02:48for 31 days. You can't believe that. Actually, 31 days it's been closed. And now the hour of reckoning is
02:55upon us. 42 million food stamp recipients in America were set to lose their benefits tomorrow.
03:02But two federal judges today ruled that the program must continue and that contingency funds will be
03:09used. Not sure which contingency funds, but there you have it. But Democrats, they don't care whether
03:14this gets funded or not, because all they want to do is keep riding the shutdown train through Tuesday's
03:20elections, trying to help their terrible candidates in Virginia and New Jersey. Meanwhile, if Freddy
03:25Krueger had a sister and she were in politics, that's who Kamala would be dressing up as this week
03:30because she's out there haunting her party back from the political grave. Beware, because Kamala's
03:37coming back. She won't go away. Are you kidding me? This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich
03:45friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that that babies are going to starve when
03:51the SNAP benefits end in just hours from now? Come on. So what? I'm not going to be distracted by,
03:58oh, does the guy have a big hammer? What about those babies?
04:04Is she drinking? I don't know. What is that? She's still talking about the ballroom? Really?
04:10It's being built with private money, sweetheart. Her comments make zero sense. Not even worth talking
04:14about. Think about the state, though, we'd be in, our entire country would be in, if she and Dougie
04:21were in the White House. Imagine her sitting across the table from President Xi.
04:26I met with over 150 world leaders, presidents, prime ministers, chancellors, and kings.
04:32I've negotiated very important deals and issues on behalf of the American people.
04:41And I'm going to draw a Venn diagram to try to explain it all to you.
04:45She's negotiated what exactly? Name one deal. Well, besides the deal to kick Joe off the ticket
04:51and install herself, her lame self, as the party's nominee. Now, yesterday, doing the tedious rounds
04:57on various podcasts, Kamala revealed her true feelings about children as well. Basically,
05:03that they're too stupid to know how dumb she is. They'd be her electoral saviors.
05:08I think we should reduce voting age to 16. Gen Z. They're age about 13 through 27.
05:16They've only known the climate crisis. And I think we must invest in them. But I think that
05:21they are rightly impatient with a lot of what is the tradition of leadership right now.
05:28Well, they're becoming more conservative by the day. We do know that. Has she not been seeing the
05:35voting trends? Any of the turning point events? She's totally checked out. Trump's locked in.
05:43Democrats are falling apart. And the GOP is sticking together. For young voters, older voters, black,
05:50white, brown voters, the choice should be simple. Common sense economic policy, a tight border and
05:58strengthened military or Democrats wide eyed socialism, open borders and a weakened military.
06:05The choice is obvious. Here to discuss is Matt Towery, political analyst and pollster Chris Bedford,
06:11author of The Beltway Brief. Chris, I meant wild eyed, but it's kind of wide eyed socialist as well.
06:17Um, but Democrats keep screeching about people starving, Chris. But if these judges didn't order
06:27these emergency reserves to be used, um, which I'm not, I have to really carefully parse through
06:34that opinion because I'm not sure about the opinion itself. But if that hadn't happened,
06:39I mean, Democrats weren't going to do a single thing, not lift a finger to vote to help these people.
06:44No, I don't think they would have. And first of all, Laura, happy anniversary for your show. It's
06:50been a wild eight years and a great time being here with you. Thank you. Fun to watch. Thank you.
06:55The, uh, Democrats have not been able to figure out their messaging on this, not one bit. And you,
07:02you know exactly what they think of the people who are struggling and the people who aren't getting
07:06paychecks and the people who won't get another month worth of paychecks in Capitol Hill or the snap,
07:11if they don't figure this out by November 10th, because they say, and they've said it repeatedly,
07:15that it's their only leverage point. But what they're trying to get leverage against is their
07:19own base. Like you said, Chuck Schumer feels threatened by AOC. He knew when this began that
07:24they had no cards, that all they were going to do is cause trouble. And unlike President Barack Obama
07:30or some previous administrations, this administration's worked really hard to make it
07:34so the American people didn't feel the pain to try and figure out everything they could to try to
07:38protect Americans from the effects of a federal shutdown, but they've run out of funds. I'm not
07:43sure how the, how the judiciary is going to make to take the job of the legislature and the executive
07:48on this. That seems far fetched to me. I think Democrats though, the theory in Washington DC right
07:55now is that Democrats will end up coming to the table mid next week. They've proven their point to
08:00their base. They've accomplished nothing. Republicans are going to give them nothing,
08:04but they'll have taken the heat off enough that they can say, all right, I get my participation
08:08trophy and I can go home. Well, and especially after the election, election night on Tuesday,
08:15we'll see movement from the Democrats. Then I traveled this morning. I was at an airport this
08:19morning, a little delay. It seemed like there were maybe fewer workers. Wasn't terrible that other,
08:25other airports might be feeling the effect of this government shutdown already. Um, and Matt,
08:30Speaker Johnson, uh, was out there, um, and he's extremely frustrated after Democrats sued the
08:39Department of Agriculture. Watch this. They sued the USDA for asking them, simply asking them to tell
08:47them how many illegal aliens are on the programs in California and New York and these other states.
08:51We are trying to get government to work more efficiently and effectively for the people.
08:55And we are getting stopped and hindered by political games by Democrats. And that's why
09:00we're so frustrated. Matt, how does that work as an issue? You're an expert in polling and political
09:07analysis. So the food stamps themselves are our safety net for people truly in need. We know there's
09:13an enormous amount of abuse and a lot of foreign born individuals getting food stamps, a huge percentage
09:19of the refugee population receiving food stamps, but the Democrats don't want it reformed. Don't want any
09:25questions asked and the, and also don't want to fund it. Well, I think the public is just now
09:32beginning to hear the information about how many people who are receiving food stamps, who
09:38simply are not from this country and came into the country illegally. And I think as more of this
09:42information comes out, you'll see more resentment for that aspect. Now there's always been a sympathy
09:47among voters for the social safety net. And I just want to add one thing about what the Democrats
09:53were doing. You know, they, I don't know that these, these decisions by these judges are, are helping
09:58them because the Democrats really wanted people to not get this assistance and be up in arms and very
10:04upset and cause more turmoil over the next week. And these judges have stepped in and said, oh, well, we
10:09think we're going to feed you how we're going to do it. I don't quite know. I do think that we're seeing
10:14a change in public opinion towards all of these benefits. You talked about Obamacare earlier.
10:20There's a slow shift that you won't see it from the legacy pollsters. You won't hear from the legacy
10:24media, but the country is beginning to shift. And I think it starts with the youngest of voters,
10:29the ones who are having to get out there and make money and find jobs. And you noted that earlier.
10:36Well, just for people who don't know the breakdown, we'll put up on the screen,
10:41the number of people, according to the center for immigration studies,
10:45who receive this assistance in the way of food stamps. 17% of illegal alien households use
10:52SNAP or food stamps. In addition to food programs, 18% of illegal alien households were enrolled in one
10:58of the cash programs. 4% were using a housing program. 39% used Medicaid. Chris, I think Americans
11:07who are struggling to pay their bills, struggling with food prices. They're infuriated at people
11:13stealing from stores and justifying it, getting away with it. And they're really sick of illegal
11:18aliens coming here and taking the services that are reserved for Americans in need.
11:24It's a terrible issue for Democrats. I think that's right.
11:28And this is not something that has been a focal point of President Trump. This is something that's
11:32now being highlighted by the Democrats and their supporters. And people are looking at it. You go
11:38through the TikTok videos of people threatening to rob stores and loot and ransack places. And it is
11:43not a sympathetic group of people. This is this is not little skinny orphans who are starving. This is
11:49not babies who are starving. This is people who refuse to work, who refuse to participate, who depend,
11:55who are taking advantage of a system who put a lot of intellectual resources and energy
12:01and figuring out how to get free things as opposed to figuring out how to better themselves, better
12:05take care of their families, better their communities. And now it's all thrown in the
12:08limelight by themselves. Yeah, well, we want people in need who are truly in need to get help. That's
12:15what that system is. Therefore, no one should be gaming this system. It shouldn't be a lifelong
12:19program and a legacy program. Matt and Chris, fascinating times. Thank you very much. Happy Halloween,
12:23boys. And Illinois Governor JB Pritzker wants to make sure nothing gets in the way of his
12:28trick or treating today. He's demanding DHS pause all ice raids throughout the weekend so kids
12:34can have a Halloween without fear. Sent a letter to Kristi Noem and to the Department
12:39of Homeland Security leadership asking them to pause all of their federal agent operations
12:46for the entirety of the Halloween weekend. I'm asking for basic human decency. Give the children
12:53and the families of Illinois a break. Don't believe it when they tell you that they're busting the
13:01worst of the worst gangs or gang members. They're attacking peaceful neighborhoods and terrorizing kids
13:09in Halloween parades. Nice try, pork chop, but it's not happening. Nothing is going to stop DHS from
13:17getting criminal aliens off the streets. Well, we're going to be out on the streets in full force
13:23and increase our activities to make sure kids are safe. We're going to be out there to make sure that
13:28they can be safe, enjoy the holidays, spend some time with their families and their neighbors and
13:32their communities. And they don't have to be the victim of a crime because of these illegal aliens
13:38that are in our country, victimizing them. Here to discuss Jonathan Fahey, former acting
13:42ICE director, former federal prosecutor. Jonathan, first of all, I didn't realize Halloween was now
13:47a weekend. Now it goes from Thursday all the way through Sunday, maybe Monday. But that's besides the
13:53point. Why is Pritzker always looking for a way to shield illegal aliens from their rightful
14:02judgment, deportation orders acted upon by the federal government? What is it with him and the
14:08illegals? He wants to be president and he knows the only way to be president is being for open borders
14:15and mass amnesty. And what he's doing is so appallingly cynical. And it's sort of a standard
14:21ploy that Democrats do is they malign ICE agents by suggesting they're out there arresting trick-or-treaters
14:28and going into schools so that everyone will be hostile to ICE agents when in fact these agents
14:34are putting their lives on the line to make all of us safer. But it's all politics with him and he's
14:39willing to put the safety of his citizens, the safety of the United States citizens at risk so that he can
14:45make his political point and hopefully elevate himself with the Democratic Party. But it's so cynical.
14:52And yeah, we now have a Halloween weekend that they can't do the job. But to think about ICE
14:58should maybe not arrest a rapist, a child molester or a murderer this weekend because they might want
15:04to trick-or-treat in Chicago is utterly absurd. It should be offensive and it should be transparent
15:10to everyone what he in fact is doing. Well, an alderman in Chicago, Jonathan, says that residents in one
15:17area received approval to close off two blocks to create a safe area for trick-or-treaters.
15:26They are actually letting this happen. This is, I mean, so they're saying, oh, it's for the trick-or-treaters,
15:32but it's really a safe zone for illegal alien criminals. That's what they're creating a safe zone
15:38for. Just go out with your kids trick-or-treating like you always do. What's the problem?
15:41Yeah. Yeah. The message should be, if he was a responsible governor, should be, if you're here
15:47legally, go out and trick-or-treat and have fun and let the federal government arrest these criminals
15:53that shouldn't be in our country. But he used this as a power and authority to stand in the way of
15:58federal law being enforced, which if you think about that, that is so irresponsible, cynical.
16:04And these, these sort of safe zones that Brandon Johnson also has created some as well, it's called
16:10alien harboring, which is a federal felony is what they're doing here. But, but everything about
16:15what- Yeah, they have to be held accountable. Yeah. It's just so bad. Yeah. All right, Jonathan,
16:20as always, thank you and happy Halloween. And now an update to a horrifying story we brought you last
16:26night, an Islamic massacre of Christians in Africa. According to the International Society for Civil
16:33Liberties and the rule of law, 50,000 to 100,000 Christians have been slaughtered in Nigeria.
16:40That's an average of about 35 per day. What can America do with our economic might
16:47and all of our influence to try to stop this madness and this ongoing slaughter?
16:54Yeah. This is why I've requested for Nigeria to be designated a country of particular concern, which
17:00Trump had done in his first administration. But of course the Biden administration took that
17:05designation off. Despicable of the Biden people, or sorry, the auto pen. And today, President Trump
17:12delivered and he went further writing on Truth Social, Christianity is facing an existential threat
17:18in Nigeria. I'm asking Congressman Riley Moore together with Chairman Tom Cole
17:23in the House Appropriations Committee to immediately look into this matter and report back to me.
17:27The U.S. cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and numerous other countries,
17:32that's like Sudan. We stand ready, willing and able to save our great Christian population
17:38around the world. We will be keeping a very close eye on this one. As I said, in Sudan,
17:44the situation is also, it's just as dire, tens of thousands slaughtered there as well. People burned
17:50in their homes, locked in their homes and burned by Islamic radicals. This cannot be ignored or forgotten.
17:55And coming up, bombshell report exposing Biden's enemies list.
18:06Tonight, there are shocking new developments about how the Biden administration tried spying
18:10on sitting Republican U.S. senators and other conservatives. Senator Chuck Grassley released
18:16more records showing that the snooping was more pervasive than originally thought. Nine senators were
18:22targeted. In total, nearly 200 subpoenas for conservative entities and individuals were issued.
18:29So who is trying to help the Biden team get all this access?
18:32Judge Boesberg issued an order to the U.S., to AT&T and signed that order,
18:40prohibiting AT&T from informing me of this subpoena for at least one year from the order Judge Boesberg
18:46signed. The court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of
18:58or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses and serious jeopardy to the investigation.
19:07I can tell you right now there is precisely zero evidence to conclude that I am likely to destroy
19:17or tamper with evidence or to intimidate potential witnesses. This order is an abuse of power.
19:24I am right now calling on the House of Representatives to impeach Judge Boesberg.
19:29He is 100 percent correct. That is an abuse of judicial authority. Here to discuss,
19:36Florida Congressman Byron Donalds and Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project. Congressman,
19:42you heard Senator Cruz. He is torqued about this. Former Supreme Court clerk, impeccable legal
19:48credentials. The idea that you would impugn implicitly or explicitly his ethical standards
19:56by issuing this order, telling the phone companies, oh, you can't reveal that we're after these records.
20:02What should happen, Mike, Congressman, excuse me, first, to Judge Boesberg here?
20:08He should be impeached. This is why I'm glad that my colleague out of Texas,
20:12Representative Brandon Gill, is actually filing those documents to have him impeached. You can't have a
20:19judge just be rogue in our system of justice, helping to that a rogue prosecutor like Jack Smith,
20:26to start targeting any American, let alone United States senators. This is outrageous. And once
20:31again, it demonstrates the length to which the Democrats would steep would stoop in order to
20:36keep political power in the United States. This is not about the Constitution. This is not about
20:41the American people. This is about their even desire to remain in power. And you can look at this
20:47shutdown or anything else that's going on this year to demonstrate the fact that the Democrats do not
20:52care what lever they have to pull or where they have to go to. It's about power for them first,
20:57second and third, not the American people, not the Constitution.
21:03Well, we have to remember, Mike, that, of course, Judge Boesberg
21:07has been fighting the Trump administration from the bench in case after case, challenging his
21:16deportation policy. Earlier this year, he granted the first emergency restraining order blocking
21:22Trump for invoking the Alien Enemies Act. Of course, the Supreme Court ruled that the Alien Enemies Act
21:29can be used as a basis to justify deportation. So this guy's been not only wrong, but now he's
21:36abusing his authority. Something has to be done about these runaway judges.
21:40Yeah, Judge Boesberg should definitely be impeached by the House of Representatives because not only
21:46are his rulings lawless, extremely lawless, they're extremely dangerous. This is part of a pattern.
21:53Boesberg opened up his courtroom on a Saturday when it wasn't even his duty, wasn't even his
21:59jurisdiction that exposed an ongoing military operation to deport the most dangerous terrorists
22:05in the Western Hemisphere, endangering American and allied lives. It was Jeb Boesberg who freed from jail
22:11a woman who traveled from New York City to the White House after she made death threats against
22:17President Trump. And now Boesberg allowed this illegal spying on Americans,
22:22including United States senators. And there's actually a statute that says that you have to
22:28notify the Senate if you authorize spying on Senate phones like this. And Boesberg did not follow that
22:34law. He should definitely be impeached. If he's not impeached there, I mean, in my view,
22:41there are no judicial standards at all. Impeachment means nothing. OK, they impeach Trump for nothing.
22:47And yet this goes on and on. I mean, and I know people don't want to weaponize,
22:51you know, go after judges or make judges look like their political target. This is not
22:56that at all. And Congressman Donald's 197 subpoenas were issued across the entire Republican apparatus.
23:06Think about that. Turning Point USA, I believe, was targeted. A bunch of other conservative groups.
23:12Mike, were you targeted? If you weren't, why not? I mean, Mike, you should have been right. If you're not
23:17on this list and something's wrong. But Congressman Donald's, it's actually not funny. This is a
23:22serious matter. I mean, organizations, it hurts, you know, the idea of free speech and advocacy of
23:29your of your conservative ideals. If you think the government is going to be turned against you
23:33because of your ideals. You're absolutely correct. This is a chilling effect on conservatives.
23:39It's a weaponization of the Justice Department, something that we have been talking about for more
23:44than a decade now. You know, the Democrats love to talk about Watergate. This is 50 times,
23:49if not 100 times worse than Watergate, because what you have here is they were using the subpoenas
23:56with Jack Smith through Judge Bowlesburg to go after Donald Trump. At the same time,
24:01you had the Biden White House covering up the mental condition of Joe Biden. And the same Biden White House
24:08was spying on the American people, pressuring the social media companies and the tech companies
24:14to either suppress free speech or to outright spy. This is ridiculous. It's outrageous. And this is
24:19where people are frustrated. There has to be accountability. So if Judge Bowlesburg, if he's up
24:23first, so be it. Because if you don't do this, it's not about weaponization. It's not about, well,
24:29what was good for the goose is good for the gander. This is about resetting the standards of what these
24:34institutions are supposed to be doing and that it's protecting the constitutional rights of the
24:39American people. Yeah. Article three is not a license to be some somehow become a super legislator
24:46or sorry, they like the king and a king, a king in your own court. Congressman Mike Davis, thank you so
24:52much. And coming up, Crockett goes Hollywood. Mamdani snags a Broadway endorsement, I think. And is it time
24:59for a Ben and Jerry's Palestine flavor? Friday Follies with Raymond Arroyo.
