Teyana Taylor, Regina Hall, and Chase Infiniti, stars of ‘One Battle After Another,’ are telling one lie after another in this episode of "Where Is The Lie?". From Regina’s claim that she once performed on a hip hop track in the ’90s, to Chase insisting she’s named after two companies, the trio interrogate each other with zero mercy. Teyana even drops a lie so subtle, it’s almost like it wasn’t part of her prompts—so were Regina and Chase technically right, or just out of time?

Watch ‘One Battle After Another’ in theaters September 26th.

00:00I didn't know you from a can of paint.
00:01You named us a Chase Bank and Infinity Cable.
00:04Are you shitting me?
00:05Oh, no.
00:06Now, that's a whole cheat on the game.
00:08Where's my lawyer?
00:09I don't remember.
00:16Yeah, be surprised.
00:17Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
00:24Preliminary evidence.
00:25I was a professor in Harlem on 125th Street.
00:29I've performed on a hip-hop song.
00:33I received a master's degree from Tisch at New York University.
00:37Whose hip-hop song did you perform on?
00:41I performed on a song with Sadat X.
00:45And who's Sadat X?
00:47He was a rapper in a group called Brand Newbian,
00:51and he was formerly known as Derrick X.
00:56What year did this song come out?
01:00It was, I would have to say, the 90s.
01:04I mean, 90s.
01:05Can you sing the hook for me?
01:07I'm sorry to bum-wash this, but you know what?
01:08No, no, no, that's okay.
01:09It's always like the one stronger cop.
01:10That was the one that I was supposed to say.
01:11The good cop and the bad cop, you need a good cop.
01:13Yeah, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
01:14Can you sing this one?
01:15It does not have a hook.
01:17What year were you a professor, just out of curiosity?
01:20Also in the late 90s.
01:25Can we get more specific?
01:2797.
01:29And then you graduated, you got a degree in NYU?
01:31Mm-hmm.
01:32Tish, Tish, what floor was your classroom on?
01:35Well, it was a mini floor.
01:36Yeah, that's how you get them.
01:38My bad, my bad, my bad, sorry.
01:39I got got.
01:45She was not on a rap song.
01:47No, I don't think she had a hook.
01:48So don't forget about the pauses and all of the dicey,
01:52the dicey glances to us.
01:53She's not here right now, you pay attention to me.
01:54Oh, my bad, my bad, my bad.
01:55The dicey glances to the two of us, like, I think it's the second one.
01:59It's very shaky.
02:00I really think it's the second one.
02:01I don't think she was on that record.
02:03Are we deliberated?
02:05I think the lie is that you were not on this hip-hop song.
02:13Well, that is the truth.
02:15I was on a song, it's called The Interview.
02:18The lie is that I received a master's degree from Tish.
02:21I didn't go to Tish.
02:22She doesn't believe it.
02:23It still feels suspicious.
02:25You know, it's something very shaky.
02:26Why did you start stuttering when we asked you that?
02:28Because I needed to make it sound like a lie.
02:31I've been lying this whole time.
02:32I've been lying.
02:33Yeah.
02:39Where am I?
02:40About to get bust out with this lie real quick.
02:42I lie and say I'm allergic to mushrooms.
02:52I was a cat lady when I was a girl.
02:56Hmm?
02:57I auditioned for American Idol and America's Got Talent.
03:01When you were a girl, you said you were a cat?
03:04A cat lady?
03:05Cat lady?
03:06Mm-hmm.
03:06So how many cats did you have?
03:07Yeah.
03:08Six.
03:08And what were their names?
03:11Ricky, Bobby, all the guys from New Edition.
03:14So you had the new edition?
03:15Mm-hmm.
03:15I think it was Ronnie.
03:16Probably Ricky and Mike.
03:17Johnny was my newest cat.
03:18Yeah.
03:19OK.
03:19Mm-hmm.
03:20Now that first one, read that again.
03:21A lie and say I'm allergic to mushrooms.
03:23But you're not.
03:24You just don't like them?
03:25Yeah, it's a lie and say I'm allergic to mushrooms.
03:28But I'm really not allergic to mushrooms.
03:29So what happens if you eat them?
03:32What happens if you eat mushrooms?
03:33I puff up.
03:34Like what?
03:35What puffs?
03:36Like I need a little.
03:36Oh, you need an EpiPen?
03:38Yeah.
03:39Because you puff up.
03:40Mm-hmm.
03:41And what's that last one you said?
03:42I auditioned for American Idol and America's Got Talent.
03:45When?
03:46When?
03:47Yeah.
03:47So I was actually in this group.
03:48Mm-hmm.
03:49So we were like, we're the sunshine girls and me on the mic.
03:52Mm-hmm.
03:53But how old were you?
03:55I need y'all to slow down.
03:57Because you know, American Idol, we didn't even make it to the TV part.
04:00You got cut.
04:01In what city?
04:03That's time.
04:04Where's my lawyer?
04:09I don't like that she couldn't really name those cats.
04:11Here's my thing.
04:12She was a bit too confident with the last one is what I'm suspicious of.
04:15The planning ahead of the last one.
04:17They all sound like lies to me.
04:19The mushroom one seems like that one could be true.
04:22See, that seemed like a lot of me.
04:23No, pretending to be allergic to something because you don't like it.
04:26Yeah, but she swells up.
04:28Why she didn't say her throat closed?
04:30That's true.
04:31We have made our decision.
04:32We've made our decision.
04:33Would you like to say?
04:34No, you say.
04:35Okay.
04:36Because I want to look at her.
04:37I'm looking at you.
04:38We think that the third prompt is the lie.
04:47My lie says, I love guacamole.
04:49Ah!
04:51Well, what's the lie?
04:53The lie is, I love guacamole.
04:55You ain't never tell us that.
04:56Girl.
04:57Gotcha.
04:58Mm-hmm.
04:59Now that's a whole cheat on the game.
05:00All of it was a lie.
05:01Wait a minute.
05:02It was a lie.
05:03Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
05:04So then, like, in a sense, we technically were right.
05:06Yes.
05:07So we were right.
05:08We were right.
05:09But you wasn't.
05:10Yes, we were.
05:11Really, y'all was.
05:12We said the third.
05:13Y'all could have been right, but y'all was out of time.
05:15Preliminary evidence.
05:27I am named after two companies.
05:30My high school choir won show choir nationals.
05:35I submitted a dance audition to Shake It Up on Disney Channel.
05:39Let me tell you something.
05:40I go to Chase Bank all the time.
05:42I ain't never heard of no Chase car.
05:45She said she's named by two companies.
05:46OK.
05:47Well, I've misheard her.
05:48I've misheard her.
05:49Chase, pay attention.
05:50This is why I'm going to.
05:50OK.
05:51Are you ready for this job?
05:52Yes.
05:52OK.
05:53All right, Chase is infinity.
05:53Chase is infinity.
05:54Infinity is a car.
05:55No, that's cable.
05:56It is?
05:57In a car.
05:58In a car.
05:59All right.
05:59Number one is out the picture.
06:00It's the truth.
06:01It's too obvious, though.
06:03Read your second one.
06:04My high school choir won show choir nationals.
06:07They probably did.
06:08They probably did.
06:09She did the K-pop.
06:10I'm going to put it past her to send in a tape to Disney Channel.
06:122018.
06:13I think it's one.
06:14You're harping.
06:15You're harping.
06:15What's the next one?
06:16I'm trying to get us to the answer.
06:17So then, what's the lie?
06:18Process of elimination, but you harping.
06:21No, but what you think is the lie?
06:22What I think is the lie is.
06:23Because we know she could have turned in that tape to Disney.
06:25And we also know she could have won the choir.
06:27A part of me feel like she didn't turn that tape into Disney.
06:29What's the name of the choir?
06:30Counterpoints.
06:30What did you dance to?
06:31There was a bunch of songs.
06:32What?
06:33OK.
06:33Well, give me two.
06:34One of them was Black or White by Michael Jackson.
06:37What was the dance moves?
06:38Do it.
06:38I don't remember.
06:39Hmm.
06:44I think it's one.
06:47I don't think you sent in a dance tape.
06:49And that's weird, because you dance to K-pop.
06:51All the time.
06:51So a part of me feel like it's not that, but I could see you in a choir.
06:56Maybe you didn't send a tape, but maybe you wasn't in a choir.
07:00I'm going with one.
07:01I need a re-trial.
07:02We have to give a united answer.
07:03What you think?
07:04OK.
07:05I'm going to go with you.
07:06And since whatever, let's be.
07:07You're not going to blame this on me.
07:09You see what you're not going to do?
07:10We're not going to do that.
07:11Take care of that.
07:12I think it's three.
07:13You think it's three?
07:14Three.
07:15Oh, one.
07:15One is my gut.
07:16But I'm going with three.
07:17It ain't boring.
07:18Because my partner doesn't want to do it.
07:19Three is your answer.
07:21Yes.
07:26The lie is I'm not named after three companies.
07:29I knew it, I knew it, I fucking knew it.
07:32How?
07:33I knew it, I knew it.
07:34I'm named after two movies.
07:36I knew it.
07:37Chase Infinity, Chase is a bank.
07:39It was too obvious.
07:40Batman Forever, Chase Meridian, Infinity comes from Toy Story.
07:44So then I won, I won.
07:46No, but are they not two companies, though?
07:48They are two companies.
07:49But she said I'm named after.
07:49But I'm not named after them.
07:51She's not named after it.
07:52I knew it in my spirit.
07:53If I didn't know you from a can of paint,
07:54you named after Chase Bank and Infinity Cable.
07:58Why are you shitting me?
07:59Who knew?
08:00That's Xfinity.
08:01Who knew?
08:02Infinity cars.
08:03Who knew?
08:04I knew.
08:06Thank you so much for watching.
08:07And be sure to check out one battle after another.
08:11Yo, from all that arguments and that.
08:28to be sure to be on the right,
08:29you really do.
08:30I was just kidding.
08:31This has been a great time.
08:32I was just joking.
08:33And I was just joking.
08:34I got to be sure to go to the right place.
08:36But I got to go.
08:38And then I did just come to.
08:39Before you get one.
08:40Before you get it,
08:41I'm going to go.
08:43When I get it,
08:45you're going to get a big deal.
08:46If I get it,
08:46you're going to get it.
08:47I'm not sure to check out one.
08:49And then I'm going to go.
08:50I go to the right place.
08:51We're going to take it.
08:52I'll go to the right place.
