00:00Joe Burrow, as you know by now, is out for a long time.
00:03They're saying at least three months.
00:05Apparently he got turfed to yesterday.
00:07I don't know why we showed him a chef there when I have an NFL insider that works for us.
00:11Jordan Schultz is reporting.
00:12And look, Adam agrees that he's going to need surgery and he's going to be out for three months.
00:18Yes.
00:19So you're going to add that to the list now.
00:21And here's the problem with Joe Burrow.
00:23And I'm going to give you one of those SkyMall rock sayings that I used to be addicted to and buy all the time.
00:30It's basically a rock and they, you know, inscribe different sayings into it, right?
00:35So here's, what is the greatest ability of all, Tyrone?
00:38Do you know?
00:39Availability.
00:40You are on point today.
00:42Availability is the greatest ability of all.
00:46And no one's going to dispute how good Joe Burrow is when he plays.
00:51But if we take a look for a second at his injury history, the problem is that he doesn't play a lot.
00:582020 tears the ACL, the MCL, the PCL, and the meniscus.
01:02How many games did he play in 2020?
01:04In 2020, he played a total of 10 games.
01:0710 games.
01:08So he missed just less than half the season.
01:112021, he dislocated the pinky.
01:132022, MCL sprain.
01:16Just out of curiosity, in 22, how many games did he play?
01:18He played 16.
01:19Okay, so good year for him.
01:20But he did it on a bum knee.
01:222023, he tears the wrist ligament.
01:25How many games did he play?
01:26He played 10 games again that year.
01:28Okay, so he missed seven games that year.
01:30And now he's got a grade three turf toe.
01:33Probably dislocated it.
01:34But whatever it is, it's a grade three turf toe, which does require surgery.
01:38So now he's out.
01:40Out.
01:40For three months.
01:41So that's 12 games he's going to miss.
01:43Maybe he comes back.
01:45Maybe he doesn't.
01:46Cincinnati, though, is sitting in a weird spot.
01:49They're 2-0.
01:51They should be 0-2.
01:52They were terrible against the Cleveland Browns in week one.
01:56And the Browns field goal kicker missed an easy kick, or else they lose that game.
02:00And then yesterday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
02:03Trevor Lawrence.
02:04Horrendous call against Travis Hunter late.
02:06Yeah.
02:06A pass interference call that never should have been called on a fourth down.
02:09If that call's not made, then the Jaguars win the game.
02:12They're 2-0.
02:13Trevor Lawrence had a couple brain-dead plays in that game.
02:16Where you're like, have you ever played football before?
02:19But give Jake Browning credit.
02:20Jake Browning comes in.
02:21The Bengals are losing 14-7.
02:23The dude throws three interceptions, but he also threw two tutties.
02:28And finds a way, final drive of the game, to lead the Bengals down the field for a win.
02:33So they're 2-0.
02:34Jake Browning's their quarterback.
02:36They need a quarterback.
02:38I know Browning's done a really good job, to be fair to him, when he has replaced Joe Burrow.
02:43But you need a real quarterback.
02:44I've got one of two options for you.
02:47Option number one's the easiest one.
02:49You trade for Kirk Cousins today.
02:52Kirk Cousins is available.
02:54Obviously, he's not going to play for Atlanta ever again.
02:57We'll get to that later on.
02:58And you need a veteran quarterback.
03:00And he's now a full year removed from the Achilles.
03:03I think Kirk Cousins, in a couple weeks, could become the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
03:08Or you get creative.
03:10And the creative idea I have for you is looking to the quarterback that right now leads the league in yards.
03:16He's 0-2.
03:17But he leads the league in yards.
03:19And believe it or not, that is Russell Wilson.
03:22Russell Wilson is not the future of the New York Giants.
03:27As good as he was yesterday, other than that last interception where he threw the ball for grabs, that cost him the game.
03:32If I'm the Bengals, I call the New York Giants.
03:35I trade a fifth-round draft pick, whatever it might be, to the New York Giants for Russell Wilson.
03:39That allows the Giants to start the Jackson Dart era.
03:43You have a veteran backup at Jameis Winston.
03:46And it works for everybody.
03:48So, there are two guys right now.
03:50I think neither one of them are free agents.
03:52I know the report is that the Bengals are going to start looking at free agent quarterbacks.
03:56You know, veteran guys we've heard of who haven't latched on with the team yet.
03:59But I think the answer is not to go that route.
04:02I think the answer is either a trade with Atlanta for Kirk Cousins or a trade with the Giants for Russell Wilson.
