00:36where I want to put my energy I'm definitely in a different place than I
00:41was the first time I was on Project Runway where I was right out of college I wasn't
00:44really sure of the designer I was but now I'm coming back and I know who I am I
00:48definitely have the talent to win this not making it to the end of season 9 it
00:55was a big disappointment and I know that I should have made it further but
00:58just go ahead and try and underestimate me that's just going to be bad for you
01:04everyone who makes it project runway all-stars is the creme de la creme I'm
01:08going to win project runway all-stars because Wade is ready to rock the
01:12freaking frog I totally got robbed in my last season I think that if I would have
01:19been in the final four I would have kicked smack the last time I was on
01:23project runway I was the bitch on season 8 you talk about people and you
01:28sabotage people right now you have it pinned on the wrong side you said you
01:31could do that but it didn't work out this time it's really important for me to
01:34stay focused I definitely think I could win this
01:39Ivy we didn't exactly become friends at all on the show but now I love her I cannot
01:46believe that Casanova did not tell me that he was going to be on the show just
01:50because he's a very good friend of mine I'll actually works with me as my
01:53assistant I get a big surprise I was not expecting to be in a competition with my
01:57boss
02:01being runner-up in my season it did feel a little bit like a slap in the face I've
02:06unfinished business to show that I can make it to the end people that say that I
02:12am just a pageant wear designer I can do swimsuits I can do jewelry I can do so
02:17many different things if you only know the King Gillespie from season 3 you've
02:21got a lot to learn I do feel like this is a second chance it's like getting an
02:26opportunity to to hopefully do everything right this time

04:09together you represent the most talented designers that have ever appeared on

04:20no at the end of each challenge one of you will be out and the rest of you will be one
04:26step closer to the grand prize do you want to know what that grand prize the winning designer will
04:32receive not only a spread in Marie Claire magazine but also the position as contributing editor for one
04:39year our winner will also receive an all expenses paid trip around the world to fashion weeks such as
04:47Paris Milan Berlin and Tokyo
04:54Laura Mercier is sending us on a worldwide trip of fashion week I am blown away
04:59and there are more prizes a technology suite and office space from HP and Intel for one year
05:05and from brother sewing and embroidery a complete sewing studio to help launch your line and
05:12one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in cash a studio space with equipment from brother and a
05:20hundred and fifty thousand dollars in cash which I could desperately use and the winner will have the
05:28opportunity to launch his or her own private label in a capsule collection with global fashion brand
05:35Nine West this season Nine West wants your designs to be accessorized to the nines
05:43all of this adds up to the biggest prize in project runway history worth three quarters of a million dollars

08:08each designer will be responsible for one item but your entire collection must be cohesive
08:16the budget is $250 per designer

22:51i don't know if i'm more nervous or used to be
22:54okay i'm going to be joining the judges now
22:57we'll be looking at how well you embraced your theme
23:00and how well your own unique style fits into the collection

24:16and i'm hoping that the panels on the side of the skirt are transparent enough for them to appreciate the architecture in it

25:17my model on the runway looks sleek flawless perfect so i'm pretty happy
25:32she stands out from the rest of the collection she's fresh she's modern she seems very edgy and then all of a sudden the judges get to see the back you know and it's that little bit of surprise and unexpected that i like to bring to them

28:21to wear like a leather dress
28:23you need to be confident about yourself in order to carry the dress in the proper way
28:28congratulations casanova i think the cutter and the back is fantastic i love the way that you've used the lace scallop
28:35i think it looks so expensive which is a great compliment i do wish the length was a little fresher though maybe if it was below the knee it would look a little edgier with the tights i love the tights
28:48i love it and i completely agree with isaac where if you just make it a little bit longer it would have been chiquer
28:53i really applaud you on using tone on tone i think that was really risky but i wrote on my card nothing really exciting

29:09this is my version of a power suit for the word confident really strong shoulders a little risk taking
29:15the jacket i adore i think the lace placements are absolutely fantastic can you turn around
29:21the symmetry of that is really well placed i just question whether a lace short would have worked better
29:28if you were going to go for a short i just wonder about shorts anymore it's almost like i want to see
29:33those pants with that jacket or something we wanted to make it where his look could go with my look but
29:38we don't want to make it too obvious i love the collection i thought it was very cohesive but i really
29:43didn't care for the jacket what threw me off was where the lace cutouts were placed i would have preferred
29:49either just the waist or just the sleeve i love the jacket jackets are something that are so hard to
29:56construct i think you did a beautiful job and i actually do like that you added the leather shorts i
30:01thought the leather really made it edgy and kept it young good job so anthony kind of wanted it to be
30:09more of a surprise in the back just to add that little bit of fun but i wanted to keep it clean and fresh
30:15and easy the lace is a surprise and that's what i love she feels very modern she feels fresh i would
30:21see wearing this during the day with a blazer over it and then taking that jacket off and having this
30:27wow moment with the back which was my absolute favorite part of the outfit thank you the pants i'm
30:32overlooking the fact that they don't really fit so well in the crotch but they give a whole new life to
30:37like this idea of skinny white pants can you turn around please i just absolutely love how you cut the
30:43tush this is an outfit that says that you're confident thank you so now we're going to move
30:48to our least successful collection suede tell us about your bold design i really wanted to push myself
30:57creatively and try to give bold shapes and try to create a pattern so it would break up the solid black
31:03black and blue that we had running throughout the collection suede all these good ideas put together
31:09don't work they're working against each other and those little handkerchiefs on the skirt i just i
31:15kind of think it looks a little sloppy i love the little skirt i think it's adorable but the top of it
31:21i would have made just a little turtleneck or a sleeveless tank it would really set off the idea of the
31:25bottom i see i'm the opposite i actually love the top but i don't know what it is they're actually breast cups i
31:31wanted to really embrace the hourglass shape i see a lot of work in this dress but you have two
31:36different dresses here and i think visually it's a lot for the eye to take in i appreciate all your
31:41feedback and i will certainly take it to heart thank you peach what were you thinking when you made your
31:45design well i'm a tennis wear designer and the bold part of this is i touched fabric that i have not put
31:54my hands on since i learned how to sew in fourth grade with mrs murphy you know um before you started
31:59speaking i thought that you might say something to make me like it better and the more you talk the
32:04more i dislike it i have to say so you should stop talking like that sleeve is so badly fitted you know
32:09you took such a good idea and you didn't even make the best part of the dress good next time i think
32:15you need to speak up and you say these are my strengths and this is what i'm good at and we're a
32:20team here and i want to contribute okay kind of five against one i didn't want to be that person that
32:25pushed it in season eight you were the mother of the bunch all right you don't have to be the mother
32:30they're all growing ups you do your thing andre this is an evening ensemble constructed in stretch
32:39cotton sateen with black silk organza and this blue fabric which we've used to direct the eye toward
32:46areas of interest oh i hate saying this but i i didn't i don't get it i don't know i just don't
32:55get it am i missing something is it a dress oh is it a tank with a skirt it is a tank with a skirt
33:00but is it supposed to be plum like is it making an x across her body yeah it should be more okay so
33:05there's a big problem right there i lament that my intention is slightly muffled here okay i just feel
33:12if we start asking you to explain your design there's a problem no well oh no no no no sorry
33:18you shouldn't i like the intention of this there's definitely an edginess to it but it's too
33:24complicated for the eye right now can you turn around for a second so she has a zipper on the
33:29inside of her dress how is she zipping herself out of it it's pieces it's just so difficult

33:57how was it it was more fun than ever they're cool though i like the judges
34:04let's talk about the high scores of the winning collection and i think it's best to start with
34:10casanova i did like the tone on tone i thought that was really smart i don't think anybody else
34:14in the collection did that but it was that length that was really messing things up i think maybe he
34:19could have applicated the lace to give the illusion more length one thing though is how tired is this
34:25idea of leather mixed with lace and yet i thought it wasn't tired like he somehow made it fresh he pulled
34:31it off and did a good job i really liked um anthony ryan's outfit i thought it was just so sleek it
34:40was really modern there's a surprise at the back he had the perfect balance of effortless cool with
34:45something very very wearable for many many women but there were our construction issues with the pants
34:50once the model was standing up there you could see those crotch issues so that was a design i will say

35:42appreciate but i could feel his angst in this garment let's talk about peach it made you feel sad because
35:51you knew the intention was good right she kept blaming the fabric blaming the group her dress was
35:59absolutely a mess and we all need a basic little dress and if you can't sew it then start throwing
36:05some handkerchiefs on the way that suede did oh that is the best thing i've ever heard
36:13andre i didn't know what to say at first i was kind of like well i'm not really sure what's going on
36:18here it was too messy he had straps the fabric we didn't know whether it was a dress it was so
36:23strange it was a crisscross and then like a scoop like sweetheart underneath it was weird the thing
36:27is that it's really hard to be in the bottom three and sometimes you don't know how to talk about your
36:32work but if you get on that runway you have to defend it you have to act like it's the best thing you've
36:36ever made and he didn't apologize he lamented which is sort of hilarious it was a mess like his mind
