31:42This challenge definitely pushed me as a very feminine designer.
31:47So really, this is just a mix of the elements of women's wear and men's wear that I really enjoy.

31:58My problem with it is the textiles look inexpensive.
32:02I can see a little bit of a struggle with this.
32:05It was too many ideas.

32:14I just think it was a little bit over the top for me.

32:31When we got the challenge, I knew I wanted to use men's wear fabric.
32:35And then when we got the twist, I decided to keep the same fabrics and just use the reverse side.
32:41I feel like there's a lot of attention to detail here.
32:44The idea of using these semi-circles to create structure, I would just be a little careful in putting it on a woman's side.
32:51Because she's losing all waste there.
32:53I couldn't tell who was the man who was the woman.

32:56Which is really what it's all about.

33:25I love the houndstooth jacket idea and mixing with the leather.
33:28I wanted to show a little bit more skin on him because typically I think women show a little bit more skin.
33:33What was the thought of picking that particular color to work with the leggings?
33:38I've done a lot of black this season so far, and I just wanted to add a little bit more color.
33:42It just brings it to a level that's like very, very, very inexpensive to me.
33:47I would almost rather see her bare underneath, which would have been quite sexy.
33:52You really know how to cut a piece.
33:55I just so encourage you to edit yourself.

35:29I love the use of his fabric, the way that he just turned one fabric around.
35:34It was almost like they were wearing the same thing, only just slightly different.
35:38And it wasn't different because she was a girl and he was a boy.
35:41I felt like they were music video ready.
35:43I thought the guy was sort of fabulous, the male model.
35:46It felt right.
35:47His use of fabric and color was really amazing.
35:49There were a few points here that I wasn't entirely happy with.
35:53But on the whole, I think he nailed androgyny perfectly.
35:57When I look at something like what Uli had done, I thought she really pushed it.
36:04She really stepped up, right?
36:05She pushed it.
36:06I loved what she did.
36:07They're good pieces that is a little more than what meets the eye, which I think is the
36:10tellings of a pretty good designer.
36:12I love when a designer can create something.
36:14And when you remove the jacket, it's still great or even better.

36:21It was brilliant.

36:58The pockets are really the worst part on that jacket.
37:00But it's the holes all down the side of the trousers.
37:02It's the buttons with the silver.
37:04It's the cutouts in that chiffon that are collapsing on the stuff.

37:10Kane, I feel like he had an opportunity to make something fabulous and he just kind of mucked it up.
37:18The weird coppery color juxtaposed with that jacket was atrocious, okay?

37:31What fascinated me about Kane is his male look was so much better.
37:36His vision when it comes to a woman, I don't know, it goes all askew.
