02:51this is a search for the next big fashion designer
03:00it's a cutthroat business
03:01the competition was fierce

03:06and one winner three designers will make their runway debut at olympus fashion league
03:12I plan to make it to fashion league
03:13I think I'll be number one

03:19I think I deserve to win

03:34in a minute we're gonna bring out the final three
03:37and ask them some questions
03:40and we want to ask you guys some questions
03:42as you all know Austin
03:44was the last designer to be eliminated
03:48so we want to show a little video clip
03:50of those last special moments for Austin
03:52I don't know what to do about Austin
03:57we can't seem to get him out of the box of this couture world
04:03that is true
04:04Wendy
04:07you are the winner of this challenge
04:13Nancy O'Dell did pick your dress
04:15to wear to the Grammys
04:17so you're in
04:18Austin that means you're out
04:21it is in
04:24thank you
04:24thank you
04:26bye
04:27goodbye
04:27Austin
04:37once it had time to sink in
04:40what was your reaction of being eliminated
04:42you know I don't think I really ever look back Heidi
04:44to be honest
04:45because I know that just being on the show
04:47I feel a winner already
04:48I really do
04:49I'm getting that far
04:50just having a chance to show
04:52a little bit of myself
04:54to the world
04:55and I think all of us
04:56could say that is
04:57you know such a prize
04:59do you think
05:01you should have been eliminated?
05:03no I don't think I should have been eliminated
05:05I don't say that I think
05:08I'm
05:09exactly what the show was looking for
05:12in their American designer of the future
05:14necessarily
05:14but
05:15I do think that I was talented enough to make it to the final three
05:24is it too mean to ask of you to say who should have gone instead?
05:29of course I think the popular vote would be that Wendy probably didn't deserve to go
05:36but do you know
05:37but do you know that Nancy O'Dell picked Wendy's dress?
05:42mhm
05:42she won that challenge
05:45I don't think it was between Wendy and Austin
05:48I think Wendy did good
05:50because it was very Grammy
05:51and he was doing like Oscar rock
05:54I definitely think Austin should have been in the final three
05:57in lieu of Wendy
05:58so since we all love
06:00Mr. Austin Scarlett so much
06:02we have a little tribute to you
06:03oh god
06:04thank you
06:05Austin I totally think it was ridiculous
06:12he's just like the most eclectic weirdo I've ever met
06:16I feel that I was put on this earth
06:21to give beauty back to the world
06:25it looks just like a men's bathroom stuff going on too
06:38it's not
06:40listen he takes pride in the way he looks
06:43Austin is in the wrong century
06:47we think Austin is like a vampire
06:49that he's lived from the 18th century
06:53and the winner of Miss Postal Service 2004
06:56goes to
06:58Austin Scarlett McHale
07:01whenever he had a problem or something

08:08you are over the top today
08:09McCarroll Austin haven't changed you are over the top today you look like a doily
08:28but thank you sir okay it's time to bring out our third finalist Wendy Pepper
08:43don't act like you're happy to see me sit down you look different yep did my hair
08:50you did your hair you changed it yep got rid of the glasses and shaved off a few pounds since I was
08:58here the last time and how has it been for you since the show started airing it's been a wonderful
09:03experience I mean it's been a little rough for me as the shows have continued to air but I've had
09:10people write me and some of them have been pretty upset with me because of the way that I acted on
09:16the show why did you choose to be so strategic in your competition because I want to win I mean you
09:25know I came to win based on what I'm sorry did you rely on your raw talent or did you rely on
09:34malicious trickery in order to get you to where you are now first of all the judges were not
09:41going to be responsive to any kind of strategy on my part so obviously they saw a talent and as far
09:50as my fellow designers I treated them as if they were trying to eliminate me we knew that 11 of us
09:58had to go evil to all of everyone and your daughter what the yeah I mean you basically said you would step
10:05over anyone to win I mean I don't think that's I think we were all really nice to you because we
10:12felt sorry for you because you're such a terrible designer you're like a mother of whatever however
10:17many kids you have and then you just stepped on all of us I think the way that we play this game is
10:23the way we play in life if you're a cutthroat person if you're a liar if you're a stealer if you
10:27strategize on the show that's what you do in life and I worked really hard to get to where I am and do
10:33it in a way that I can respect myself and I can respect other people and you can really see the
10:37difference between carousel and Wendy well here's the thing see I think maybe people misunderstand my
10:42objective by coming on the show I didn't come on the show to interact with my fellow designers I came
10:48on the show that is typical so cliche of an answer I don't regret my approach I just assumed that we
10:54were all doing the best we could in this difficult environment to get to the end because to me that's
11:03the point get yourself to the end now through our world may through our work it's not about getting
11:09to the end it's about how you get to the end our viewers have a great deal of interest in Wendy and
11:15and via the bravo tv.com website they've written some questions that I'd like to present Wendy when
11:24you watch the show were you surprised by how nasty you came across when I look at the show I'm a little
11:30bit uncomfortable with how I come across but this was a unique set of circumstances it was a pressure
11:35cooker environment it brought out a lot of emotion with all of us designers and some of us for the
11:41purposes of defending ourselves and preserving our sanity had to engage in certain behaviors
11:48that allowed us to simply get through the day I mean I just don't think people can understand how
11:54difficult it was do you feel that you're happiest Wendy designing and your flow and just really feeling
12:02the art or did you feel happiest when you're winning ultimately it's but you and your art ultimately I
12:08really appreciate this question because I think it goes to the fact that at least I own up to the fact that
12:15I have strategic motives and I think if you look around this group you see a lot of people who are not
12:22exactly honest about their methods Wendy's this is not Survivor I don't get it
12:28Don't sell your soul to get anywhere because you may need it one day
12:32coming up on project runway Vanessa do you regret your runway confession that you do not so well
12:43in terms of Kevin I felt his leadership was lacking and I said it
12:48if anybody needs any um tape or paper pattern paper just let me know
12:57now I want to talk a little bit about the challenges what was the hardest challenge you think I think the
13:10first challenge for the first no question everything that you will use to design and fabricate this
13:17challenge must be purchased here and just the nervousness of the first challenge you know what is it
13:23going to be like you know and and just walking into that grocery store your feeling was like what
13:27am I going to do here we have another question from a viewer what was your security blanket during the
13:33competition alcohol alcohol no I'm at the end of the day you're working like a dog and then finally
13:40it's all up to like the deadline and then then what do you do and you know then after that you can
13:45like breathe so we would like let it all hang out when it the night we come let it all hang out you
13:52really didn't that's why we called it project drunk way drunk well we weren't working we were pretty
14:02much drinking and chain smoking my beverage choice is champagne crystal course there have been times that
14:17have been upstairs in 39C everybody's drinking when you drink you lose control
14:25there are great performances of uh with Austin and Vanessa when they were doing Gone with the Wind
14:36into him impossible so let's do some yoga shall we yes Allison I never done drunk yoga before
14:54before. My yoga instructor is going to be horrified. Get up. It's too hard. You fucking frat boy.
15:09Although I was scared out of my mind to come on the show. I just love to tell y'all I'm so happy
15:16that you all came to meet y'all to be with me tonight. I just love y'all and I appreciate
15:24the support of Scarlet Woman. A hundred percent. Good night. Tell me about Vanessa. I love Vanessa.
15:40You know, speaking of Project Drunkway, I have to comment that this looks like some blood
15:44has been spilled. Something of a metaphor for some of the conversations. So let's talk a
15:52little bit about the runway shows. Who was the hardest judge? Nina Garcia. Really?
15:59Jay, I think that you missed it on the color. I'm a little disappointed in your design. I don't
16:06know. I feel you didn't put enough effort into it. This just feels not well executed.
16:14How about Michael? Fair. Fair. He's fair. That's what I said. Fair.
16:18The dress fits her really gorgeously. Those are the shorts from hell. I think you did an
16:25amazing job. I'm underwhelmed. On the topic of judging, we have a question from a viewer
16:33again, and this question is for Vanessa. Do you regret your runway confession that you do
16:40not sew well? Tell the judges who on your team should be in and who should be out.
16:47Wow. Vanessa. I think if I was going to choose anyone, I think I'd probably choose myself because
16:55I'm the worst sewer. Austin. It's just a simple fact that Vanessa just isn't as
17:06adept in sewing as Wendy and I. I do sew well. Actually, I sew really well. However, I was fed
17:18up, worn out, doing Austin's Bo Peep outfit. I was dissatisfied and pissed off. Now, Austin knew
17:26that. We both knew that, right? I was not a bad member on the team. Once I said, oh, you know
17:32what? I've got verbal diarrhea and I think I was the worst on the team. It was like, okay. I agree
17:38with you. I, at that point, just was trying to be completely honest. Wendy had already chosen me.
17:48I could have very easily been, oh, well, you know, I've got to, you know, kick her back, do this
17:54for, you know, trying to eliminate me. I just had to name the weakest link. For that instance,
18:03even though you're such a fabulous designer and, you know, we were sewing. I mean, she
18:06was on the team. So that was, she was a weak link in that very instance. But as a designer
18:12that has no reflection. You know what, every time you say the weak link. Whatsoever. I'm
18:16sorry. No, wait, my, my sales go from 2.5 million to like 700,000 to 500,000 to nothing. But
18:24that, but the, but the bottom line for me is that it really has no reflection of your. Yes,
18:30it's had an enormous reflection on my career. Huge. Let me tell you how many sewing kits I've
18:35received in the mail. It's insane. Really? From Walmart. Yes. Sewing kit after sewing kit. Vanessa,
18:41we really want you to learn how to sew. I'm like, thanks. Vanessa, in retrospect, do you feel it was
18:48an error to have, in your own way, self-eviscerated on that runway? Well, in this fantasy land of
18:54Project Runway, it was probably an error. On the topic of the runway judging and things that one
19:01might regret. Wendy, do you have any feelings in retrospect about your interaction with Austin
19:07on that very memorable runway judging? Wendy, who on your team should be out? I did feel that
19:15Austin could have done a better job with leadership. Or your interaction with Kevin on the judging that
19:23eliminated Kevin. Wendy, can, can you comment just a little bit about Kevin as a leader?
19:31Okay. I personally felt that Kevin was not as active as a leader as he could have been. I think
19:36the collection could have been better directed had he been more involved in getting us on the same path.
19:43Well, I'll take, there, there are two different situations. The first one with Austin was, you know,
19:49really just a terribly difficult circumstance. Now, I decided that Vanessa had really tried her
19:59hardest to realize Austin's goal. And so I could not, in good conscience, choose Vanessa as the weaker
20:07member. So I was left with no choice, but to say Austin, as he was in charge. How about Kevin?
20:16In terms of Kevin, I felt his leadership was lacking and I said it.
20:25Coming up on Project Runway. Step up, be a grownup and say who painted on her daughter's face.
20:32Do you have a soul? Honestly, Vanessa, why do you act like this? You're so soulless.
20:37Rob, I just did not ever want to see that ever. What kind of underwear do you want?
20:51You guys really learned also very well how to impersonate each other. No?
20:55Nora's great at the house. Nora's fantastic.
20:58We know. Let's have a look.
21:00It's impossible for me to have stolen your dye. I didn't take the bitch's dye. That's for sure.
21:06I didn't steal the bitch's dye. I didn't steal the bitch's dye.
21:09I didn't take that bitch's dye. That's for sure.
21:12One of my best impersonations is Alessandra.
21:16Hi, my name is Alexandra Vidal. This is Alessandra Vidal.
21:20When I was a little girl, I loved Barbie dolls.
21:22And like, it's so hot in here. You know what I mean?
21:24And like, I totally don't even know if I should put more lip stuff on.
21:27Here's Mario.
21:29Fashion.
21:30Whatever. I'm going to go take a nap. Enjoy life.
21:32It's the best looking garbage bag dressed ever, I think.
21:37Daniel, what did you have for breakfast?
21:38Well, for breakfast, I had egg whites on, wheat toast, and I put some butter on it.
21:44Kevin, I can do really well.
21:47My goal is to be a great, a great American designer.
21:50I really want to be the next designer. Yeah.
21:54Am I mumbling?
21:56And he kind of like wiggles his eyes around like that.
21:58Rob, Rob, you use my towel.
22:06Rob, you use my towel.
22:10Rob.
22:10We felt like we couldn't find Nora in your wedding dress at all.
22:18We haven't really seen you in your design.
22:20And fashion is all about what's in and what's out.
22:23Either you're in or you're out.
22:25Either you're in or you're out.
22:27Either you're in or you're out.
22:29And now I want to bring it over to Tim, who helped you guys, advised you guys.
22:41And I don't know where you all would be now if it wouldn't be for Tim.
22:44You did such a great job.
22:45You were very kind.
22:46So we have a little video of you.
22:48I'm afraid.
22:49Let's have a look.
22:50Good morning, everybody.
22:54Make it work is our theme.
22:55Exactly.
22:56Our project runway theme.
22:57Tim Gunn's favorite slogan, make it work.
23:00Make your postal thing work.
23:02It's called make it work.
23:03Make it work.
23:04Make it work.
23:05Make it work for you.
23:08Carry on.
23:09Make it work.
23:10Carry on.
23:10Make it work.
23:11Carry on.
23:12Carry on.
23:13Carry on.
23:14Carry on.
23:15Carry on.
23:16Carry on.
23:17Carry on.
23:17Carry on.
23:19Okay.
23:20Carry on.
23:20I'm going to carry on myself.
23:23All right.
23:23All right.
23:23I'm reluctantly leaving you.
23:25Good luck.
23:29Wow.
23:34I see it seems to her.
23:37What was your first impression of Tim?
23:39I remember the first time we were filming, we all went to the steps of Parsons.
23:45This will be your working space.
23:47And this is Tim Gunn.
23:48And there next to you, Heidi, was this, like, nicely dressed, articulate man.
23:54And I just looked at him like, what a hot bitch.
23:59He really was.
24:00No, no.
24:01He was well composed.
24:02And, you know, I just hope I look as good as he does.
24:05When he, every time he would come into the room, he would let you know as far as what
24:09you were doing, if it was the right direction.
24:11He was dead on every time.
24:13All the little things he would say, like, when you got to the runway, you would think,
24:17oh, my God, Tim did mention that.
24:19Yeah.
24:19Tim did mention that.
24:20I should have listened to him.
24:21What was the most difficult thing you've ever heard from Tim?
24:24I had a terrible time with Tim on the last challenge.
24:26And that top is looking matronly compared to the modernness of that skirt.
24:33Tim just goes, da, da, da.
24:35And I completed, da, da, da.
24:37And it was much, much, much, much, much better.
24:39I don't even know what I would have done without that.
24:42Wendy.
24:43My work was dowdy.
24:46It was dowdy, most of the time.
24:49I remember that moment.
24:50Michael Kors is stuck on the fact that your looks are dowdy.
24:57For some reason, he felt it necessary to say that the judges think my clothes are dowdy.
25:04From a functional standpoint, I feel like that was a good shoe.
25:08I'm trying to help you here.
25:10Please don't defend the shoe to me.
25:12Frankly, I wanted to wake Wendy up.
25:14It's like, you know something?
25:16You're thinking in a dowdy way.
25:17This is where you are right now.
25:19Let's get out of it.
25:20Coming from you, I mean, it absolutely woke me up.
25:24And the thing that was wonderful about it was it came at right the right time.
25:28During the poster design challenge, there was also something that happened to Wendy that wasn't very nice.
25:34Someone drew on Wendy's daughter's picture.
25:39And we have a little clip that I want to show you.
25:41We came back to Parsons and, you know, we all went and sat at our tables, which is what we usually do.
25:46And I looked down and I see this line drawn through my daughter's picture.
25:52Somebody drew on my picture of my daughter.
25:55What?
25:56And I want to say to you guys, I apologize if you all are mad at me.
26:00If I've done something wrong, if you are mad at me for how I treated Kevin, if you're mad at me for how I treated you, I want to say to you that I meant no harm.
26:09But if you wanted to, you know, do psychological warfare on me, you did a good job.
26:16It's the absolute quintessential image of my daughter.
26:21You know, she's dressed up and she's looking up in the sky and she's just so happy and so beautiful, you know.
26:28It's the only one I have of her like that, okay?
26:32I don't want to have the copy.
26:33I don't want to have the negatives.
26:35That's it.
26:36How dare anybody do that to my daughter?
26:39She's really good at hiding her emotions, obviously, because she always just looks cold.
26:43So when you see her cry, you know, in public, you know that something's kind of up.
26:47Oh, yeah, that's totally intentional.
26:50Maybe it was one of the models or maybe it was Kevin.
26:52I would love to know the outcome because I love that kind of dirt.
26:55Who was it?
26:57Oh, I thought you said it's me.
26:59Why are you saying it's me?
27:00I didn't say s***, Kevin.
27:02Maybe it's me.
27:04Why are you talking to me?
27:04Who was it?
27:05I'm not blaming you.
27:07I was shocked when I saw all of this.
27:09Who did that?
27:09I want to know.
27:11Step up.
27:11Be a grown-up and say who painted on her daughter's face.
27:14It sounded like retribution.
27:16Kevin did.
27:16Why would it be me?
27:18I would suspect you because of the timing.
27:22It happened after Wendy basically eviscerated you on the runway.
27:28And Kevin, you were alone in the room.
27:37I think Wendy might have done it to us.
27:39It was a terrible, terrible, terrible thing.
27:45It was horrible.
27:46It was a horrible, horrible thing.
27:48Especially since her daughter has nothing to do with the show.
27:50Maybe it would be in perfect timing or whatever, but it wasn't me.
27:56But it was Wendy then.
27:57You did it to your own picture.
28:01Vanessa, that's really cold.
28:02I mean, for as much hatred as I think some people have here for Wendy,
28:06that was the lowest, grossest thing.
28:09You know, I'm getting bent out of shape about it, but it was horrible.
28:12And if someone did that to me, I would have lost it.
28:16Do you have a daughter?
28:17No.
28:18But if I had a picture of my mother, if someone did...
28:20Do you have a soul?
28:22Honestly, Vanessa, why do you act like this?
28:24You're so soulless.
28:26I'm joking.
28:26Take a yoga class.
28:27My God.
28:28I think that silly thing with the picture was ridiculous.
28:33Whoever did it, I mean, acted out of uncontrolled anger.
28:38It's just so silly.
28:40I didn't even think it's really worth discussing, to be honest.
28:45Coming up on Project Runway.
28:47This is my opinion.
28:48You just go through this.
28:49The bottom line is that we signed up to do it.
28:52The whole night you've been so sour about this.
28:55Because I don't want to be here.
28:58When can I have a banana again?
29:02I like them for breakfast.
29:04I like them for lunch.
29:06I like them single.
29:08All in a bunch.
29:09Oh!
29:15You guys worked hard.
29:16Very, very hard.
29:17And when you guys were not designing, you were doing interviews.
29:21And a lot of people at home don't know that.
29:22How it really was 24-7 designing, interviewing, from one studio to the next studio.
29:27And you guys got a little delirious every once in a while.
29:30And we have a nice little clip again for you to see.
29:35Welcome.
29:36It's just like humiliation to have a man blot the sweat off of your face.
29:41You know, like, me and him are completely opposite.
29:45You know, I mean, just being from our, you know, genitals.
29:48Not genitals.
29:49How do you say that?
29:49After we picked our models, then Hody, Hody, I said a party.
29:55She killed everybody.
29:57Hody, gloom.
29:58S&M as a sadistic mannerism.
30:00Machicism.
30:01Machicism.
30:01Machicism.
30:03Max, masochism.
30:06So after we picked our models, um, with the button process, uh, Hody, oh my god, what are you saying?
30:15Sado-masochism.
30:16So Cara-san, if she had to choose between the Sado and the machicism, she would like the Sado-ism.
30:21After the challenge, uh, Hostie, oh my god, why am I having such a problem with her name?
30:29Damn it, English class, 101.
30:31I never got into that crap, either, either or, sadisticism or machicism.
30:35So I just like the, I just like to be in the middle.
30:38Sparkles.
30:38I mean, as much as I was running around like a, you know, a head without a chicken, I was still, you know, I'm still thinking I'm in the game.
30:45What about your strategy in terms of the other competitors in this?
30:54I don't know what the hell, half hippo, drama queen, hippo, I'm sorry, hippie, the half hippie, the hippie hippo.
31:00I falafelized my, uh, bodice.
31:03I falafel, falafel, falafel, falafel-sized.
31:11It's hard for me to make a strategy as far as the other competitors, because I don't know who I'm up against.
31:20We have a few other models here today.
31:25I want to bring them out.
31:27Melissa, Jenny, Julia, and Martinique.
31:30How are all of you?
31:37It's great to see you.
31:39So how has it been for you guys since the show started airing?
31:43Crazy.
31:43People recognizing you on the street differently than before?
31:46Yeah.
31:46Like on castings, we've been recognized by other models or by the casting agent.
31:52We have a question here.
31:55What made certain models preferable over others?
31:58Did you develop a favorite model to work with, and why?
32:03For me, it was really an essential component of the show.
32:07This was the, I could have relationships with the models that weren't competitive in nature.
32:13It meant a lot to me.
32:15Why did you see them drop me?
32:16I went on personality.
32:24I really, I, you know, Julia is studying graphic design, so we could relate to certain things.
32:29I mean, there was, I would never work with Olga.
32:33She seems like a terrible person to me.
32:35As far as being a model.
32:36I mean, she doesn't know her role as a model.
32:38Yeah.
32:39Can you take this off of me, please?
32:43I know you guys had a lot of fun, and let's have a look.
32:47Hello, cameras.
32:48How are you guys doing today?
32:50Hi.
32:54The models were a great part of the show.
32:56I mean, they definitely added some, you know, some more umph to it, like more pizzazz.
33:01There are cat bites.
33:06No one can break Russian power.
33:12Don't push me to get married now.
33:15Olga, I have traveled the oceans for you.
33:19I'd like to marry you.
33:21We will be models.
33:23Our children will be models.
33:24Our children's children will be models.
33:28Melissa.
33:29She's vivacious, flirtatious.
33:32She loves the attention.
33:35Every single outfit she did, she worked it.
33:39It's like a 36-year-old trapped in a 16-year-old body.
33:43Bye!
33:45Woo!
33:46Roger, Robert!
33:48Woo!
33:48Woo!
33:48Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:49Woo!
33:50Woo!
33:52Morgan is not with us tonight.
33:54In order to appear, she insisted that we sign a letter stating that we would not portray
33:59her in a negative way.
34:02And to begin for Morgan, that's a little difficult.
34:06But when you see the next clip, you'll understand why it was impossible for us to sign such a letter.
34:12Model from hell, Morgan, conquers and kills the world.
34:23Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
34:27The whole Morgan drama was just nuts.
34:29Nuts.
34:30I lost my scarf and my earrings and my mind.
34:34Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
34:35I'm cuckoo crazy.
34:36You guys always get to be doing so much shit.
34:39Ugh.
34:40She's been difficult.
34:42Morgan!
34:43Morgan!
34:44Production, you!
34:46Dramatic.
34:47Moody.
34:48And crazy.
34:49Whoa!
34:50Seriously?
34:51Enough!
34:52Enough!
34:53Wait!
34:54Enough!
34:55Enough!
34:56Stop!
34:57Come on!
34:58Check it.
34:59This is Morgan Quinn, your main model.
35:01Signing out.
35:02Can I insert this viewer question also?
35:12Granted, Morgan has a great walk, but was working with her worth all the drama.
35:18Morgan is a big problem, but when you got her in the right groove, she was like...
35:25Melissa, I think, took her job the most seriously as a model.
35:29Seriously, yeah.
35:30She was totally serious.
35:31She was doing a job.
35:33Melissa has, like, the perfect balance of professionalism, drive, beauty, to really make it.
35:40Where Morgan is fabulous, but, you know, you've got to be a little more professional.
35:45Martinique, you wanted to say something.
35:47With having to do with Morgan, bad publicity can be good publicity.
35:50I don't know.
35:51It helps for what?
35:53Do you have a negative image of yourself?
35:56Well, Julia, Melissa, Jenny, what do you think about what Martinique said?
36:00She did a few crazy things that got her good publicity, but it didn't do anything good for the designer.
36:05In particular, I mean, she did some pretty big risks for them, which could have ruined their particular dreams.
36:13Like Kevin, for instance, in the bathing suit.
36:15That could have been really bad for him.
36:17Morgan said that she's going to a club.
36:19I don't know if it's good to wear my outfit there.
36:22What happened?
36:23It ripped.
36:24Oops.
36:27Before I send away the three finalists, I want to know from the designers if there are any open questions that you have for each other.
36:36Vanessa, I read an article, an interview with you that was scathing.
36:44I just want to hear your opinion on why the hell you would ever leak that much information.
36:51I don't know who else read it.
36:53The part that I did read that when I decided to stop reading it was this one small piece that said that, you know, something about how we thought that there was going to be a different group of people and that out of all of them together, I chose these talent, you know, the talent was so low and they weren't professional and they just made clothes for their grandmothers.
37:16For me personally, that kind of, that kind of hit me in a little bit, like, you know.
37:20In what way?
37:21In the way that, like, I did get chosen out of 1,200 people to come on, or however many people to come on this show, even with, you know, two years experience.
37:31I wasn't expecting to go to New York and sew things in a little room with other people.
37:37I thought it was going to be different and I say that on the telephone to this girl.
37:41It was very sour-graped and very unprofessional and I just, being a part of that, you were including.
37:47But it wasn't a professional interview.
37:49It was with somebody on the telephone that was talking.
37:51Did you not know where it was going to get printed?
37:53No.
37:54So they did it behind your back?
37:56It wasn't, it was with an ex-intern of mine.
37:59I was answering questions on the, on the telephone.
38:03And I didn't say anything, I didn't feel any information about anybody.
38:08You kind of grouped us together and, and said very negative things about the show.
38:13And for, for me, I mean, I took this whole thing very seriously.
38:16It feels very close to my heart now.
38:18And for you to, it just, for you to diss it like that so much.
38:22I mean, you're obviously having a problem with this show.
38:24It would feel close to your heart because you're like, going to show your collection on Friday.
38:27And I'm not.
38:28But I would never.
38:29I was talking on the telephone about things that were important.
38:32I don't even know if they were important.
38:33I was just talking.
38:34And what were you thinking?
38:35You can't tell an interviewer that you thought the production that you're on, that you want
38:40to gain so much out of.
38:41It wasn't an interviewer.
38:42To put down a show that has given me and everybody else here a great opportunity, I
38:46just think is wrong.
38:47I don't know.
38:48I think we live in America.
38:49I know.
38:50It's different.
38:51This is my opinion.
38:52You just go to yours.
38:53So my opinion is, I appreciate the show.
38:55I'm not going to put it down knowing that there are 11 other people here.
38:58Some who are showing this show.
38:59Some are not.
39:00But so many other people are going on to amazing things from this show.
39:04Why are you so sour, though?
39:06I think you would be saying something different if you weren't with the people that were going
39:11to get good.
39:12Vanessa, there's jobs I haven't gotten in this world.
39:14We're all in the real world.
39:15I remember talking to Jay about it.
39:17And there was like a good time for like about a week or so that I was like, oh my God,
39:22you know, I'm a psychopathic emotional basket case and it's littered all over the internet.
39:27And I'm thinking to myself, no matter what, I sign myself to do this.
39:34I put myself and I put my emotions out there.
39:37The bottom line is that we signed up to do it.
39:39Yeah.
39:43All night you've been so sour about this.
39:45Because I don't want to be here.
39:52This is bullshit.
39:59Who do you think will win?
40:01Curacao.
40:02I think Jay.
40:03What if Wendy won?
40:04Oh my God.
40:05What do you guys think?
40:06I wouldn't be really happy.
40:10As soon as he was born, I just ran out of the hospital with him.
40:14Isn't he beautiful?
40:17Here, it's yours now.
40:22And one is missing, I just see.
40:26Where's Vanessa?
40:28She's left.
40:29For some reason?
40:30We don't know.
40:31Well, we have appropriate remains.
40:33She did not like the last conversation.
40:34We have a red wine stain.
40:36So she never decided to come back.
40:37And some shards of glass representing her.
40:39Yes, it was that last conversation.
40:41We send away Carson, Jay and Wendy.
40:44And we also put a great video package together of what you guys had to say on who you thought
40:49should win Project Runway.
40:51Really?
40:52Cut.
40:53Whew.
40:54The final three of being Jay, Karasan and Wendy.
40:59And if the winner had to be one, I predict Karasan's going to win.
41:05Jay's going to win.
41:07I'm just going to say it right now, Jay's going to win.
41:13Karasan.
41:14I think Karasan's going to win the runway show.
41:16You know what?
41:17I'm going to win.
41:20Seriously.
41:21I'm going to.
41:22All I can say is that I plan to win.
41:29Um.
41:30No one really knows.
41:31But I would say probably Karasan.
41:36I'm going with probably with the published reaction probably of Jay.
41:39I have to say I think Jay will win.
41:45Well.
41:46I predict I'm going to win.
41:48Okay.
41:51So now that they're all gone, I think we can speak more openly.
41:54I want to know from you guys, who do you think will win?
41:57Karasan.
41:58Why?
41:59Because she's the most dedicated.
42:01The one with the most spirit.
42:02The most with the positive energy.
42:04She's been doing it for a long time.
42:06She has variation in her collection.
42:08But it's still focused.
42:10She's going to take it.
42:11I know Karasan's going to win.
42:12I think Jay also has something that's very consistent though.
42:15I mean he may come across as very wild in his personality.
42:18But each challenge, his work is beautiful, amazing.
42:21And consistently Jay, just like Karasan.
42:23I think it's a 50-50 toss up.
42:25Regardless of who wins, we're going to have a loss.
42:27Because either one of them should go forward with the show.
42:30I like Jay too, but I'm not sure.
42:31I think Jay, like myself, is just a little maybe too in his own thing.
42:36Kind of too outrageous.
42:37I think you and Karasan are similar in that you're more of a costume take on design.
42:46Karasan costume?
42:47No.
42:48Jay is more, I think he's more as a capsule image, a lot stronger.
42:53It's called Punky Brewster.
42:54It's called Punky Brewster.
42:55Like you see a Jay piece?
42:56No, Daniel.
42:57No question.
42:58It's not.
42:59What if Wendy won?
43:00Oh my God.
43:01What do you guys think?
43:02I wouldn't be really happy, quite honest.
43:06I don't think she deserves it as much as Karasan.
43:08Do you realize she has a chance?
43:09She has a 33% chance of winning this thing.
43:12No, I understand.
43:13Just whoever's going to be the most exciting, I think will win.
43:16No one knows who will win.
43:17Karasan!
43:18We're going to have a two-hour special here on Bravo.
43:21And then we're going to find out who will win Project Runway.
43:25And I want to thank you guys for coming for this special show that we did tonight.
43:30Tim Gunn, thank you.
43:32So until next Wednesday, Auf Wiedersehen!
43:37Next week on our special two-hour season finale.
43:40You're non-existent to me because I don't care.
43:42I'm non-existent?
43:43Karasan lost her mind.
43:45I don't like you, that's real.
43:47How did they break?
43:55They can't break.
43:57This is what I expected.
43:59I'm frantic.
44:00You guys look good.
44:02The dress makes sure the boobs look great.
44:04I feel fantastic.
44:05I'm ready to go show them what Wendy Pepper is all about.
44:08Everyone break a leg.
44:10I'm not going to let anything ruin this experience.
44:19Not Wendy Pepper.
44:21Not anything.
44:24One of you is about to be named the winner of Project Runway.
44:31Visit projectrunway.com to learn more about the fashions you've seen on today's show.
44:36It's a man, it's a man thing.
44:37It's a man thing.
44:38A friend of mine told me about putting givy powder around your balls.
44:43Wendy, it doesn't look like you put that much creativity into your design.
44:49Well, Mr. Kors, if you let me defend myself, I've listed a number of points.
44:57Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
45:01It'll be short in the front.
45:03I mean, I'm not going to.
45:04I think if I add, and you're like.
45:05I'm not going to.
45:06I think if I add and then you like.
