00:00Major League Baseball, we got afternoon action today. We have middle of the day action today.
00:04We have night action today for some good nightcaps out there, Detroit and the Athletics.
00:09Should we get more runs than what we saw yesterday? Any more grand slams? Any more comebacks from the Athletics?
00:14We'll find out. But it starts today in the Bronx, in New York City.
00:18975, 976, that's Washington and New York.
00:21Cavalli's on the mound, taking on Max Freed.
00:23Hey, welcome back to Major League Baseball. Max Freed with a solid start.
00:26Your last time out. Cavalli's also interesting. A former first-round draft pick, Tommy John Surgery, fighting his way back.
00:33He's shown some spotlights here that he can get down.
00:35Eight and a half are the total in the card. Look at this Yankees favorite.
00:39Opened up overnight, minus 300. We're now sitting at around a 275 price, if we call it even, throughout most of the outlets here.
00:45A 105 start today. That's a big price to pay for Max Freed. But maybe he's back, Joe. Is he?
00:51Well, I mean, he was awful for two months, Donnie. I mean, he had close to a 7 ERA in eight starts.
01:00But then, against the Red Sox, his last time out, four hits, six scoreless. Didn't get the decision.
01:07The Yankees ended up losing that game 1-0 on Friday. But maybe, just maybe, that he had figured some things out there.
01:14I mean, listen, I think Max Freed is too good a pitcher where he's just, unless he's hurt, that he is going to continue down that path of having a 7 ERA the rest of the way.
01:24So, if we get the Max Freed like we got last week against the Red Sox, I think, Donnie, there's no reason not to think the Yankees can handle business here.
01:34I like the under, you know, early start here.
01:38It makes sense that maybe everyone's in a rush to hurry up and end this game as quick as possible.
01:43Yeah, not a ton of innings there for Cavalli, but he does have a 3.89 XFIP number over the past 60 days, which isn't too bad.
01:49You take a look here, and I'm trying to find Max Freed, who had that good last start.
01:53He's got close to a 6 ERA still with that good start over the past 60 days and a 4-2-8 XFIP number.
01:58Maybe he is bouncing back.
01:59You look at that Yankees lineup, 1-6.
02:00It, you know, looks really good against righties.
02:03Grisham, 2-76 ISO, Rice, 2-88, Judge, 2-31, Bellinger, 1-79, Stanton, 4-79, and Chisholm at a 3-09.
02:11That's just the last 30 days going up against right-handed pitching.
02:13One thing that we do like, Joe, from Yankee Stadium, how about 75 degrees at first pitch with double-digit winds blowing out to the short porch in right field?
02:21Something, certainly, to keep an eye on there.
02:23Let's keep it moving.
02:24Atlanta and Miami, also a 1 o'clock start here.
02:26That's at 1-10, 9-51, 9-52.
02:29Atlanta's going to throw Wentz on the mound.
02:31The left-handed pitcher going up against Ryan Gusto, 8-1-1 as a total, but a slight favorite to Atlanta in this spot.
02:37I think Atlanta should be able to pick up that W.
02:39If you watched yesterday and you had the under, condolences to you.
02:43Where the Braves, I think, scored nine runs in the top of the ninth inning in like a 2-1 or a 2-2 game at that point.
02:47But that was also that, you know, Kirsten Waldrop, another good start for the Bravos yesterday.
02:52But today, Wentz will be on the mound against Gusto.
02:56Yeah, I mean, nine runs at the top of the ninth is hilarious.
03:00But, you know, if I'm Atlanta and I'm an Atlanta fan, I got to be going, what could have been?
03:06I mean, the fact that there's still 12 games under .500, and yet they have been ripping off wins left and right here in the second part of the season,
03:14actually crushing the ball with no starting pitching.
03:18Like, Joey Wentz is going again here today.
03:21They have had to pick up guys off the scrap heap because everybody has gotten hurt.
03:27But he already faced Miami.
03:29Back on August 10th, he gave up one run, four hits, five and a third.
03:33Atlanta won 7-1.
03:35Gusto has been an absolute train wreck since coming over from Houston.
03:40So, you know, if it ain't prob, don't fix it.
03:43I'll take Atlanta because I trust them a little bit more right now.
03:46No, I do.
03:48So, if that line goes from FanDuel 122 up to 132, and it's primarily in that mid-130s range,
03:53I do think that is a smart decision, and Atlanta should be able to hit.
03:56Sometimes it's about trusting the lineups more than the other one.
03:58And you're right about Gusto here.
03:59A 535 ERA over the past 60 days doesn't really hold up his end of the bargain on the mound.
04:04Let's take a look at one of the more fun series as we're watching right now.
04:07A day game on the West Coast, which will start in Washington at 1.10 p.m.
04:11But, again, East Coast time, that's 4.10.
04:14977, 978.
04:15San Diego's going to throw you Darvish going up against Brian Wu of the Seattle Mariners.
04:19A minus 145 price overnight.
04:21That's dropping here.
04:22Minus 136 is minus 138s in the marketplace.
04:25And a total, let's listen, at eight, with some outlets, at seven and a half.
04:29We've seen some offense.
04:30Is today the day where the offense dies up there at T-Mobile?
04:34It only makes sense, right?
04:36Early start here.
04:37Yeah, two pitchers that are more than capable of limiting the damage.
04:42I think this is finally a pitcher's duel here between these two teams.
04:45So, yeah, under for me.
04:48Yeah, it's kind of interesting.
04:49It's like you, Darvish, getting back into form.
04:51Do you trust the ace at this point?
04:52But always those afternoon games sometimes are a little bit squirrely.
04:55Getaway day.
04:56But also understand this.
04:58This isn't your normal clubs here that are playing each other.
05:00Seattle is trying to chase down and take a lead over the Houston Astros.
05:03San Diego's doing the same thing.
05:04So, it's not as if you can't, ah, throwaway day, getaway day, put the benchwarmers in there.
05:09These games mean so much.
05:11Where maybe, Joe, a month and a half ago, you might see guys like Cal Raleigh resting in this game.
05:15That should not be the case today on a getaway day.
05:18More Major League Baseball talk right here on the Early Line coming up next.
05:22Full card of Major League Baseball on a Wednesday.
05:24Who says no to that on a hump day?
05:25Absolutely, we love it.
05:26Tomorrow, we'll get our taste of football.
05:28And still more Major League Baseball as most of those games will be played in the afternoon.
05:31But some of these games starting at 635 Eastern, just like this one, the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles.
05:37Baio's going to be on the mound versus ends the left-handed pitcher.
05:40A nine as a total here.
05:42A favorite overnight for Baio and the Boston Red Sox at minus 138.
05:46We've seen that 136s, 143s, 140s, depending where you're shopping at.
05:50And once again, that total of nine.
05:52Do we get runs today down in Baltimore?
05:54And can the Boston Red Sox come away with a victory today?
05:57Well, if Baio pitches the way that he did against Frieden that game on Friday against the Yankees, then, yeah, no, we're not getting nine runs.
06:08We're certainly not getting them from the Orioles here.
06:11So, yes, you know, this feels like this is going to be another one of those that maybe Baio has figured it out and figured it out rather quickly.
06:21What are you going to get from the Baltimore pitching staff here at this point?
06:25They're bringing guys back from injury.
06:28They're throwing guys out there that should have absolutely no business starting games.
06:32The bullpen's not any good.
06:34So, very hard for me to look anywhere at this point other than Boston, who's kind of paying Baltimore back from, you know, handling business at Fenway when they were there last week.
06:46Let's get up to the six in Toronto, the first place team in the AL East.
06:49They're going to take on the Minnesota Twins.
06:51That's the Toronto Blue Jays.
06:52Lauer, the lefty, is going to be on the mound, a veteran guy, going up against Simeon Woods Richardson.
06:57Now, understand this.
06:58He's coming back to Major League Baseball after missing roughly a month, Joe, by having a parasite removed from his intestine.
07:05Never a good thing.
07:06Had a spot start there in the minors.
07:07Wasn't very good.
07:08But now he comes up against one of the teams that they've been known to get after it at the plate.
07:12The total in this game is listed at nine across the board.
07:15But a heavy favorite for Toronto, Joe.
07:17Overnight, minus 180.
07:18Still sitting in that minus 180 range.
07:20Who gets that job done tonight?
07:21And also, can you trust Woods Richardson, who, quite frankly, wasn't good before he left Major League Baseball about a month ago to get that surgery?
07:29Yeah, no.
07:30You can't trust Woods Richardson.
07:32Nor can you trust this Minnesota lineup here.
07:35And listen, Lauer has, you know, had his moments this year.
07:40And he should have no problem, I think, going up against this Minnesota lineup.
07:45But the bullpen of Toronto has not been good.
07:48Showed up again last night there.
07:50Maybe getting a little worn down here.
07:52So, I like Toronto.
07:54I like them early in this one.
07:56So, I'll lay the half a run in the first five and look for Toronto to bounce back.
08:01How about that, Toronto?
08:02I do think they hit at the plate today.
08:04Take a look at Woods Richardson.
08:05Again, he hasn't had a lot of innings pitched over the past month.
08:07But over his past 60 days, he has a decent ERA, but his XFIP numbers, his analytical numbers, they're really high.
08:12And sometimes I do like to take a peek at, what did he do in the minors?
08:15Oh, his last start in the minors, Joe.
08:16Six and a third.
08:1788 pitches, no runs.
08:18Okay, he's ready.
08:19He got lumped up just a little bit.
08:20So, we'll see if that carries over playing Toronto in Toronto today.
08:24Big ball game today in Flushing.
08:27Look, the U.S. Open's going on there.
08:28The Philadelphia Phillies are playing the New York Mets.
08:30Walker versus McClain.
08:31McClain's the youngster that's been pitching fairly well since getting called up to Major League Baseball.
08:35Tywon Walker has actually been decent over the past month and a half.
08:38Something has to give today.
08:39But I'll tell you this.
08:40Just look at the line itself.
08:41It'll tell you everything you need to know.
08:43Veteran pitcher versus a youngster.
08:44Team playing well right now in the Mets.
08:46The Phillies not playing so well and can't win at Citi Field.
08:49Minus 150s here as a favorite for the New York Mets in a game that's going to start at 7-10 tonight and a total of 8.5.
08:55The Phillies look like they're set up just to get swept today, Joe.
08:59They really do.
09:00And, again, they used all their leverage guys last night and couldn't get the win here.
09:06They're barely – they're, what, 6-4 in their last 10?
09:09Yep.
09:10Not good here.
09:11They're playing 500 baseball, and they can't for whatever reason.
09:16Sight lines, whatever it is, Dinah, they can't hit at Citi Field.
09:19They can't beat the Mets pitching.
09:21I like McClain, though.
09:23I like him a lot for the Mets.
09:25It feels like maybe just maybe we get a tough game early on, maybe a first five under for me here, maybe a little bit of a pitcher's battle before the bats get involved, like last night.
09:39Yeah, looking at the – you know, Tywon Walker, again, does have some pretty good numbers.
09:42Not a strikeout pitcher, which does tend to get you in trouble.
09:44His power numbers are low over the past 30 days, but also the Mets' bats against right into pitching, they project very well.
09:50Power numbers and weighted on base percentages.
09:52We'll see how it plays out.
09:53Now, if we do take a look at Nolan McClain, only 45 batters he's faced, Joe, in Major League Baseball.
09:58K-rate, 31%.
09:59You know the Phillies typically have struggles with striking out.
10:01Walk-rate, not too bad.
10:03Iso power number against, very good.
10:04Weighted on base percentage, very good.
10:06And he is a ground ball pitcher.
10:07Also understand this at Citi Field today.
10:1071-degree temperatures, that's okay tonight.
10:12Eight-mile-an-hour wind blowing in from left field, so maybe we don't see those home runs and those runs to sort of get you over the hump if you're looking for a total in this spot.
10:20Take a look at the Arizona Diamondbacks.
10:22Ryan Nelson's going to be on the mound, taking on the Milwaukee Brewers.
10:25Best team in baseball with Quinn Priester on the mound.
10:28Favorite here overnight.
10:30Minus 150?
10:31That's dropping now, Joe.
10:32We see minus 142s, minus 145s in the business across those sports books that you would be shopping at.
10:37Eights to eight and a halves on the total here.
10:40Nelson versus Priester.
10:42Sometimes you just say to yourself, I don't know if I want to go against Milwaukee regardless of the pitching matchup, which I do like Quinn Priester anyway today.
10:50They haven't lost the start of his, Donnie.
10:52I mean, there's no – it's like – it's ridiculous here.
10:55It's absolutely crazy with what's going on here with him.
11:00He pitches and Milwaukee figures out ways to win games here.
11:05Can't trust Nelson on the road.
11:08Although Arizona has been hitting the ball better.
11:11They obviously – scoring runs isn't an issue.
11:14Don't like the usage of the Milwaukee bullpen.
11:17So, if I'm going anywhere, I'm going early in this one looking for Milwaukee with a first five lead like they have had the first two games of this series but ultimately gave it up in the latter half of the innings with the bullpen.
11:30Yeah, they like to do that.
11:31Again, it's hard – it's just to go against a team that's playing this well, can win in any sort of environment here.
11:35Being at home, we'll see how that one plays out.
11:37Cincinnati and Los Angeles, that's the Dodgers.
11:39Shohei Otani is going to be on the mound today going up against Nick Lodolo.
11:43A left-handed pitcher.
11:45The favorite overnight, minus 200 or so, still sitting there at a minus 205.
11:49Highest number I'm seeing right now, minus 210 at BetMGM.
11:52And a total that opened up at 8.5 overnight.
11:54There are still some 8.5s but it looks like the prevailing line now has dropped to 8.
11:58And I actually agree with that.
12:00I think both of these pitchers should be able to hold these teams down.
12:03Last night, what, 6-3 type game?
12:04I can picture this being a 5-3 or less type game where this number does stay under the total.
12:09It feels like a under spot.
12:12I mean, obviously, Otani hasn't necessarily been Otani since they started to stretch him out here a little bit on the mound.
12:20So, how many do we get from him, right?
12:23I mean, it wasn't a great start last time out.
12:27And are we going to get locked down, Otani?
12:30If we do, it doesn't fit.
12:32I mean, listen, Gershaw didn't hit 90 miles an hour last night and the Reds looked lost.
12:36What are they going to do against Otani?
12:37Otani and now at a rejuvenated bullpen of the Dodgers.
12:41I'm with you.
12:41I would even go Reds team total under in this spot in this game.
12:46Oh, wow about that at this point here.
12:48Chicago and San Francisco.
12:50Joe, the scene of the crime last night for you.
12:52Justin Verlander pitching well.
12:54Today, it's Wizenhunt, the left-handed pitcher.
12:56They're just throwing gems out there with pitchers on the mound.
12:58Colin Ray, you know we don't like that guy.
13:00Total listed at 8.5 across the board, but a favorite towards the Chicago Cubs.
13:04Is this the day that the Cubs say enough is enough?
13:06We're going to take care of business and we're going to hit the baseball?
13:08And I've seen nothing but giant money hit the board here.
13:13So, yeah, go figure at this point.
13:16The Cubs, just when you thought they had figured it out, they haven't.
13:19I mean, Colin Ray is not a guy I ever trust.
13:22He has been pretty decent for them over the last month.
13:26He's given them some quality starts.
13:28But since I don't trust the Cubs' bats,
13:31I'm looking at an under at Oracle here tonight more than anything else.
13:36Can't trust it.
13:38That's what we always like to say there.
13:40Again, Colin Ray should be able to get hit.
13:42Wizenhunt should be able to get hit.
13:43But just that squirrely ballpark here.
13:45Let me check the temperatures.
13:46Because I think there's a wind blowing out the center field and also cooler temps.
13:50Let's see.
13:50Oh, look.
13:51Look at that, Joe.
13:5263 degrees by the time you're midway through that game.
13:54And a wind blowing out the center field of 7.3 miles per hour.
13:57It's the summertime.
13:58Like, can't we move that ballpark, Joe?
14:00Can't we move it inland 40 or 50 miles?
14:02Like, why do we have to play baseball in the summer in the low 60s?
14:06What gives here?
14:08Yeah.
14:08Well, that's why that ballpark is so hard to hit in.
14:12It's just it's not a hitter's ballpark.
14:14And it's why you can't get a lot of big-time power hitters to sign with the Giants as free agents.
14:20Nobody wants to go there.
14:22That play stinks.
14:24By the way, three afternoon baseball games once again.
14:26Washington and New York.
14:27That's the Yankees.
14:28Atlanta and Miami.
14:29And then also Tampa Bay and Cleveland here before a 4 o'clock start between San Diego and Seattle.
14:34And then into our night games we go.
14:36Nice baseball slate here on a Wednesday.
14:38Mr. Kaufman is going to be up here.
14:40We're going to hit more Major League Baseball next.
14:43Stay tuned on the early line.
14:45Fun show on a Wednesday right here on the early line on the Sports Grid Network.
14:48My goodness, the topics that we've gone over today and maybe the biggest topic of all was Travis Kelsey getting engaged to Taylor Swift.
14:54But we love ourselves on Major League Baseball.
14:56Donnie Wrightside joined by Joe Ranieri as usual.
14:58Now we welcome in Adam Kaufman.
15:00No stranger to the networks here.
15:02You can find him on In Game Live and many other shows across the network.
15:06Trying to have some fun in the morning.
15:07Rise and shine here, Adam, with us.
15:10Yeah, you're not kidding.
15:11Like you said, no stranger to the network.
15:13But if you can believe it, guys, this is my debut on the early line.
15:16So I'm pretty excited to be here with you.
15:19Look at that.
15:19Now, who was holding Adam off the early line for so many years?
15:22It wasn't me.
15:23Unbelievable.
15:23I'm still here on the show.
15:24I love this guy.
15:24I got some phone calls.
15:25He's absolutely fantastic.
15:26Fantastic stuff.
15:30But we are talking Major League Baseball to have some fun with today, Adam.
15:33And I know there is a huge schedule.
15:35I love Wednesday cards where they give us a little bit in the afternoon, a little bit later in the afternoon, and then obviously the nightcap here.
15:41So if we're taking a look at some of this action, particularly early, do you have any digs there?
15:45A little Cleveland Guardians, a little Tampa Bay Rays action today?
15:49Yeah, I'm with you.
15:50I mean, every day should look like a Wednesday in Major League Baseball.
15:52I get why it doesn't from the standpoint of, obviously, kids back to school and all that stuff.
15:57You know, it's hard to have all those day games, but I'm here for it.
16:00We want sports to follow and bet on all day long.
16:02As far as this game, I like the Rays.
16:05I like the Rays in a bounce back off of what happened yesterday, but only to a point.
16:10And what I mean by that is I want to invest in the first five for Tampa as opposed to the full game.
16:15Take the bullpens out of it.
16:16Drew Rasmussen has been excellent of late, as I'm sure you guys know.
16:20Digging into some of his numbers, obviously, he's got the 262 ERA on the season.
16:25That speaks for itself.
16:26But two earned runs allowed or fewer in his last nine outings.
16:31Now, I realize not all of those have been lengthy.
16:34You know, there are some ones, some two-inning performances in there.
16:37But as of late, he's gone at least five the last five starts.
16:41And that production or efficiency has not dropped off.
16:44He has a 116 ERA this month.
16:47So, again, when you do the money line, not the result, the money line.
16:51So, there's still some juice on it, obviously.
16:52But it's not crazy.
16:53It's in the vicinity of minus 130.
16:56I like him to just keep Tampa really right where the Rays should be, which is either even or in front.
17:03Worst case scenario, in my mind, you get the push.
17:06You get the money back.
17:07But I think Tampa's going to be ahead after five, even if it's, you know, two to one or something like that.
17:12Maybe one of the best pitching matchups of the day in Seattle here with Wu taking on Darvish in the rubber match.
17:22People can make the argument maybe this is a preview of things to come in October.
17:27Who wins this game here?
17:29Who do you get the edge to?
17:30Well, it's an immensely important game for both of these teams, guys, because you've got a Mariners team that is trailing by only a game and a half in the AL West.
17:39And you have a Padres team that is back only one game in the NL West.
17:42So, these are the only two divisions that are still up for grabs at this point.
17:46So, there's no lack of urgency here in this one.
17:49I just think that ultimately Seattle is the better side.
17:52I think more of Brian Wu than I do you, Darvish.
17:54Darvish has had some really good performances over the last, you know, three, four weeks.
18:00But since his season began only last month, remember, he started in early July.
18:04He had missed the first part of the year.
18:05He has been wildly inconsistent.
18:08You know, it'll be scoreless or one run allowed.
18:10And then it's like eight runs allowed or five runs allowed.
18:13So, I would rather bet into some level of consistency, which we've seen largely from Wu.
18:19Five quality starts for people that still care about quality starts out of his last six outings overall.
18:25He's let up just, you know, the one run in San Diego when they matched up back in May, I realize, a while ago.
18:31But even still, he's got that on his resume this year in what was the right side, obviously, of a 6-1 victory.
18:36And, again, with the importance of the game, the urgency of it, I think the fact that, you know, the Mariners are looking to, you know, also bounce back from, you know, where they have been of late and try and put more of that pressure on the Astros, a team that I'm sure we'll talk about a little bit as well.
18:55You know, Houston, with the way that it fell yesterday at home against Colorado, you know that Valdez and company are going to bounce back with a victory today.
19:05And so, for Seattle and Wu, this is a, you know, keeping the pace kind of game, and I think the Mariners will do so.
19:11So, give me Seattle Moneyline full game.
19:14Plus 300 dog price yesterday, cashed in there for Colorado.
19:17Amazing there.
19:18You take a look at Tanner Gordon, one of the worst pitchers on the car, comes up with a gem.
19:20And sometimes we just say, Adam, that's baseball here.
19:23But, you know, Russ, we're playing baseball down in Baltimore, which I guess the Red Sox, hey, you know what, let's just stay here an extra couple days and pick up some more wins.
19:30A 5-0 win yesterday.
19:31They're going to face an opener today in Dietrich Enns, and then Contreras will come in behind them.
19:35But Brian Baio has been very good this season so far for the Sox.
19:39We'll be on the mound as a favorite, give or take, minus 138s to minus 140s in the marketplace, but a total of nine.
19:44Do you think Boston's getting out of town with another win down there at Camden Yards?
19:48Look, I would love to tell you I'm back in the Red Sox today because of homerism.
19:52I'm not.
19:52They're just the better team.
19:54Nobody would argue against that.
19:55These are two clubs heading in the wrong direction or opposite directions.
19:59You know, we've seen it here in this series, but overall for the season as well.
20:02And the Red Sox are trying to put themselves, you know, firmly, if they can, atop the wildcard standings in the American League, granted with some weeks still to play in this season.
20:11Baio, like you said, has been excellent.
20:13He's not the ace of the staff because, you know, Garrett Crochet exists, but Baio has been awesome.
20:19He's got a 307 ERA, sub-3 ERA overall over the last three months.
20:23So he's just getting better by the start, quite frankly, guys.
20:27And, you know, I know you could look back and he faced the Orioles earlier this year.
20:32Red Sox won that game 19-5, but he didn't pitch great in there.
20:36That was May.
20:37What we've seen from him of late over June, July, August has been exceptional.
20:41Again, in the vicinity of a 2-6, 2-7 ERA.
20:45I think he keeps it up today.
20:46And I think the Red Sox, as they get down the stretch here, know how important these games are.
20:50So Red Sox money line, I would look into the first five as well if you wanted to double dip and play both.
20:56And I think we're going to see runs in this one.
20:57I would look toward the over.
20:59So the Cubs made Verlander look like he was 20 years younger last night.
21:05Do they bounce back today against the Giants?
21:09They have to.
21:10And it's not because I think that much of Colin Ray, although, again, he is the better pitcher in this particular matchup.
21:15And he's got a 2-5 ERA so far this month.
21:18But like you said, sometimes you just need to respond.
21:22You know, he got knocked around by the Giants in May.
21:24But the Cubs, they've taken 7 out of 10.
21:26You've got a Giants team that's starting to feel itself a little bit with the three straight wins.
21:29But you can't go down against Verlander the way that he has pitched over the course of this season.
21:34I know there have been some spot starts that have been a little bit better of late, like the one last night that you outlined.
21:39But for Chicago, it's a response game.
21:42And I think you're getting value on the money line.
21:44There you go.
21:45Adam Kaufman bringing the heat this morning.
21:47And also, don't miss out here.
21:48We've got a little parlay action between Houston and New York.
21:51Fade in a little Cavalli.
21:52Fade in a little Dallander.
21:53You've got to step up there, right?
21:54Max Free with a good start last time out.
21:55And also, Valdez, your ace of the staff.
21:58They have to provide it.
21:59Thank you for the insight today, Adam.
22:00Certainly.
22:01Don't be a stranger around these parts here on the early line.
22:03You can call me anytime, guys.
22:04We'll be right back on the early line.
22:07Come on now.
22:07Let's get some W's here.
22:09Let's get the people what they want.
22:10It's bye-bye-bye.
22:11Bye-bye.
22:11Bye-bye.
22:13Bye-bye.
22:13Bye-bye.
22:15Now, I know you're not going to back a Verlander today.
22:21And I know you're probably going to stay far away from the San Francisco Giants and the
22:24Chicago Cubs.
22:25So, what gives today?
22:26Where are we going for some action?
22:28Well, I am going to go to one of the early games this afternoon with the Rays and the
22:35Guardians here.
22:36We've already started to see under money come in for the full game, a little getaway game
22:42for both of these teams.
22:44But with Rasmussen on the mound for the Tampa Bay Rays, yeah, runs are going to be hard
22:50to come by here for the Guardians.
22:53Not to mention, we've got cooler temperatures and wind, double-digit winds blowing in from
22:59left field at progressive field.
23:02So, don't trust the Guardians lineup as it is.
23:05Tampa's in one of these spots where it is a getaway day for them.
23:09I'm going to split them in half here because I'm going to take the under in the first five.
23:14It was four and a half.
23:15It's down to four now.
23:17And I like it.
23:18I think that in a getaway game, the strike zone increases.
23:22We got winds blowing in.
23:24And I think runs are going to be hard to come by here across the board.
23:28Don't mind the full game either, but I'm going to go ahead and concentrate the first
23:32five under here.
23:33I'll give a little bit of help for you, too, Joe.
23:35Slade Ciccone, you're starting today.
23:37Just don't pitch to Junior Camonero, okay?
23:39Just walk him at all costs because otherwise you might be doing some damage.
23:43Get around to him.
23:43You'll be just fine.
23:44For me, I'm keeping it simple today.
23:46Went with an over yesterday on two bad baseball teams with two worst pitchers.
23:49Easily hit it.
23:50By the way, do you know the Pirates had seven runs before the second inning was over?
23:53Oh, you love those every night.
23:55I'm keeping it simple again tonight.
23:56Rangers and the Angels.
23:57He goes, oh, Donnie, I don't really like those lineups that much.
23:59So what?
24:00Kochanowicz is on the mound.
24:01Stop your handicapping right there.
24:03Get yourself nine runs today and get to the window, as we like to say.
24:07So for me, Angels, Rangers over nine.
24:10That's my best bet of the day for today.
