00:00Good morning. Well, it's going to be turning more changeable as we go through the week.
00:05And take note, there's going to be some large waves along western coasts as well today.
00:10But back to the rest of this morning, we have this band of rain across eastern parts of Scotland
00:15running down to the northeast of England and in towards the southeast.
00:19That will push its way eastwards, just bringing a legacy of cloud.
00:23But once that clears its way through, actually plenty of sunshine on offer across East Anglia,
00:28across parts of the Midlands and the southeast.
00:31Behind that, it is a case of sunny spells and a scattering of showers,
00:35mostly across northern Ireland and into Scotland.
00:39Some of these could be heavy, but again, most places across England and Wales,
00:42it's going to stay largely dry.
00:45Otherwise, still breezy out there, but also a little bit cooler, especially along the west.
00:50That's where we'll see temperatures around average 21 to 22 degrees.
00:54But in the sunshine still, across the southeast, temperatures holding up.
00:58We'll see highs here of around 26 degrees.
01:03So as we go through this evening, plenty of late evening sunny spells out there.
01:07Most of the showers generally start melting away.
01:10We'll still see a scattering moving northeastwards across Scotland.
01:13And then a next system coming through during the early hours across northern Ireland.
01:18So turning cloudy across western Ireland as we start Wednesday morning.
01:23Elsewhere, a mixture of clear spells and just a few showers around.
01:28Otherwise, temperatures, it is going to just feel slightly cooler to start Wednesday morning.
01:33Lows around 13 or 14 degrees in the towns and cities.
01:37So as we start Wednesday morning, then actually turning a lot cloudy across northern Ireland with this band of rain.
01:44That'll edge into Wales, into the southwest of England, into northern England and Scotland as we go into the afternoon.
01:51And this rain could be heavy with the odd rumble of thunder, some flashes of lightning and hail as well.
01:56Likewise for the showers that come in further behind that.
01:59Turning cloudier across the southeast of England.
02:02Northern Ireland and here it won't be feeling as warm.
02:05Temperatures falling closer to average once again, down to 21 or 22 degrees.
02:10Northern Ireland rather cool here as well, coming down at around 17 degrees.
02:16So a changeable theme is on the card.
